From Sta. Maria, the Umbrail Pass leads to the Italian Veltlin to Bormio or to the Stelvio Pass, the highest alpine pass. Liegenschaftsbeschreibung: Das ehemalige Bauernhaus neben der evangelischen Kirche wurde im Jahre 1898 in das jetzige Hotel Stelvio umgebaut. Dabei wurden die Arvenverschalung der ehemaligen Stube und der Küche des Bauernhauses eins zu eins übernommen. Im Jahr 2004 wurde das Haus weitgehend renoviert. Das Hotel verfügt über 30 freundliche Zimmer mit 68 Betten (auf 81 aufstockbar). Alle Zimmer sind mit Dusche / WC und TV ausgestattet. Im ersten Stock befindet sich eine Sauna. Der Speisesaal, die Stüva Veglia und die Arvenstube bieten zusammen Platz für rund 180 Personen. Im Sommer wie im Winter kann man auf der Hotelterrasse überdurchschnittlich viel Sonnenstrahlen geniessen. Der grosse Parkplatz unterhalb des Hotels ist gebührenfrei und gehört zum Haus. Des Weiteren verfügt das Hotel noch über vier Personalzimmer mit einer gemeinsamen Küche. Ein Fitnessstudio ist ebenfalls im Dachgeschoss untergebracht.
