3 Vorraussetzungen für Java Web Start / Prerequisited for Java-WebStart Sie benötigen eine Java-Installation Version 1.7 oder höher auf Ihrem Rechner! You need an installed Java version 1.7 or higher on your computer! Es können der IE, Firefox und Chrome genutzt werden. You may use IE, Firefox or Chrome. Datenempfang / Download from portal Zum Herunterladen von Daten muss zunächst das Java-WebStart-Modul (file_download.jsp) heruntergeladen und ausgeführt werden. For download of data you need to download and execute the Java-WebStart module (file_download.jsp) first. IE: Wählen Sie Herunterladen im Portal. Das Java-WebStart-Modul wird automatisch ausgeführt. Select Download in the portal. The Java-WebStart module will start automatically. Firefox: Wählen Sie zunächst Herunterladen im Portal und dann Öffnen mit - Java Web Start Launcher wie im ersten Bild zu sehen. First select Download in the portal and then Open with - Java Web Start Launcher as shown in the first screenshot. Chrome: Wählen Sie zunächst Herunterladen im Portal, dann in der unteren Browserleiste Behalten. Danach einfach file_download.jnlp anklicken. (siehe Bild 2 und 3) Select Download in the portal and then Keep in the lower part of the browser window. Finally select file_download.jnlp. (see picture 2 and 3)

5 Dann wie gewohnt beim ersten Mal den Haken setzen und Ausführen wählen. Sollte hier eine Meldung auftauchen das die Anwendung durch Sicherheitsrichtlinien blockiert wird, muss das TFE-Portal als Ausnahme in Java hinterlegt werden, siehe dazu Hinzufügen der Seite zur Ausnahmeliste Then as usual for the first time activate the check box and select Execute. If a message appears that the application is blocked by security policies, the TFE portal must be added as an exception in Java, see How to add a site to java exception list Nun den Zielordner auswählen und mit Fertigstellen den Download starten. Now select the destination folder and start the download with the Finish button.

6 Daten senden / Upload data Auch zum Hochladen von Daten muss zunächst das Java-WebStart-Modul (file_upload.jsp) heruntergeladen und ausgeführt werden. 8 Nun die Daten auswählen und mit Hochladen den Upload starten. Now select the data and start the upload with the Upload button. Nach erfolgreichem Upload erscheint folgende Meldung. Bitte den Browser nicht vorher schließen. When the upload is completed, a similar message will be displayed. Please do not close the browser before.

9 Anwendung blockiert - Hinzufügen der Seite zur Ausnahmeliste / Application blocked - How to add a site to java exception list Sollte beim Starten der Anwendung folgender Fehler auftreten, ist es notwendig die Portal- Webseite zur Java Ausnahmeliste hinzuzufügen If the following errors occur when starting the application, it is necessary to add the portal website to the Java exception list Zum Bearbeiten der Ausnahmeliste muss das Java Control Panel geöffnet werden, dieses kann über die Systemsteuerung geöffnet werden. To add a site to the exception list, go to your Windows Control Panel and click on Java. Wechseln Sie in den Reiter Sicherheit, im Java Control Panel. In the Java control panel switch to Security tab.

10 Das Hinzufügen erfolgt über den Button Sitelist bearbeiten. Hier muss die Seite eingetragen werden. Under Exception Site List, click Edit Site List... and add following site:

11 Nach dem Bestätigen über OK, kann eine Sicherheitswarnung auftauchen, diese kann mit Fortfahren bestätigt werden. After confirmation with okay, there might open a warning, this has to be confirmed also. Nach der Anpassung bitte den Browser neustarten, das Applet sollte nun laden. Afterwards, please restart your browser, the Applet should now load.
