Anwendungsbereich Das KEMPER KHS-VAV-plus Volldurchgangsventil mit Federrückzug-Stellantrieb Figur ist für den Einsatz in Trinkwasser-Installationen für das KHS-Hygienesystem vorgesehen, um Verteilleitungen als auch Einzelzuleitungen absperren zu können, den bestimmungsgemäßen Betrieb im PWC und PWH aufrecht zu erhalten. Bei Stromausfall fährt das Ventil automatisch zu (stromlos geschlossen). Die Armatur kann wahlweise angesteuert werden über: die GLT das KEMPER KHS-Timer-Set (Figur ) die KEMPER KHS-Mini Systemsteuerung (Figur , , ) das KEMPER Leckage-Sicherheitssystem (Figur ). Wichtiger Hinweis zu den Einsatzgrenzen des KHS- VAV-plus plus-volldurchgangsventils Volldurchgangsventils: Es sind stets die Einsatzgrenzen des KHS-VAV-plus Volldurchgangsventils einzuhalten (siehe hierzu KEMPER Durchflussdiagramme für das Hygienesystem KHS unter Um jederzeit die Funktionssicherheit des VAV- Ventils zu gewährleisten, darf die maximale Fließgeschwindigkeit von 5 m/s in der zu spülenden Leitung nicht überschritten werden. Um die Vorgaben bauseits einzuhalten, ist ggf. ein Druckminderer zur Begrenzung des Vordruckes - ca. 50 cm vor dem VAV-Volldurchgangsventil - einzubauen. Hinweis: Wird die Armatur endständig für Wasserwechselmaßnahmen eingesetzt, ist die aus dem TW-System austretende Trinkwassermenge nach DIN EN sicher in das Abwassersystem oder in einen Pumpensumpf abzuführen. Einbau und Montage Hinweis: Die Empfehlungen aus den Einbau- und Bedienungsanleitungen der jeweiligen Systeme, in welche das Ventil integriert werden soll (z.b. KHS-Mini-Systemsteuerung, Leckage- Sicherheitssystem, KHS-Timer-Set), sind zu beachten. Empfehlung pfehlungen en: a) Volldurchgangsventil (VAV) Es wird empfohlen, dass VAV vorab ohne den Stellantrieb in die Rohrleitung einzubauen, um den Stellantrieb vor Beschädigung und Schmutz zu schützen. Es ist darauf zu achten, dass das VAV spannungsfrei in die Rohrleitung eingebaut wird. b) Stellantrieb mit Federrückzug Vor der Montage des Stellantriebes ist darauf zu achten, dass die Grundstellung eingestellt ist. Der Stellantrieb wird in Stellung Zu ausgeliefert, bedingt durch den Federrückzug. EBA KHS-VAV-plus Volldurchgangsventil 3

4 3.1 Stellantrieb ausrichten Der Stellantrieb besitzt 8 Ausrichtstufen, die in 45 Schritten ausrichtbar sind. Hierzu ist die passende Stellung des Stellantriebes je nach Platzverhältnis zu wählen. 3.2 Stellantrieb aufstecken Antrieb fest auf Konus aufdrücken und mit der Nutmutter am Oberteil befestigen. Nutmutter mit dem Hakenschlüssel anziehen. 3.3 Grundeinstellung Ventil einstellen Grundstellung: Ventil geschlossen kontrollieren. Darauf achten, dass die Stellungsanzeigenut quer zur Rohrachse steht. 3.4 Stellantrieb auf der Ventilspindel fixieren Fixierung des Stellantriebes mittels Sechskant-Schlüssel SW 10 mm, Anzugsmoment 7.9 Nm EBA KHS-VAV-plus Volldurchgangsventil 4

5 3.5 Handbetrieb Das Ventil kann mittels beiliegender Kurbel geöffnet werden. Dazu Kurbel in Sechskant stecken und gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen. Bei Bedarf kann diese Position mit einem Kreuzschraubendreher fixiert werden. 4. 7 5. Anschluss als 2-Punkt-Steuerung Nach Anlegen der Spannung öffnet das Ventil, bis die kraftabhängige Abschaltung erfolgt. Dabei wird das Getriebe mit dem bürstenlosen Gleichstrommotor angehalten und blockiert. Bei Ausfall oder Abschalten der Spannung gibt der Motor das Getriebe frei, so dass das Ventil über die Feder geschlossen wird. Anschlussplan: N BN = braun BU = blau Achtung: Elektroarbeiten dürfen nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal ausgeführt werden! Gehäuse darf nicht geöffnet werden! Bei Montage im Freien: Wir empfehlen, die Geräte bei einer Montage außerhalb von Gebäuden zusätzlich vor Witterungseinflüssen zu schützen. Verletzungsgefahr durch Rückstellfeder. 6. 8 7. Wartung Nach DIN EN ist eine jährliche Inspektion durch den Betreiber durchzuführen. Nach Öffnungs- und SchließzyklenS sind die Dichtelemente (3) auf Verschleiß zu prüfen und ggf. zu ersetzen. Demontage Die Demontage des Stellantriebs erfolgt in umgekehrter Reihenfolge wie unter Punkt 3 beschrieben. Gewindering (4) mit Stirnlochschlüssel (5) vom Gehäuse (1) lösen und Oberteil (2) mit Kugel und Dichtelementen entnehmen (nur in Offenstellung möglich). Oberteil von der Kugel mit Spindel abziehen. Kugel und Dichtelemente optisch überprüfen und ggf. ersetzen. 5 Montage Oberteil (2) mit Kugel und Dichtelementen in das Gehäuse (1) einsetzen und bis zum Anschlag positionieren (nur in Offenstellung möglich) - Oberteilstellung beachten -. Den Gewindering (4) mit dem Stirnlochschlüssel anziehen. Drehmoment ca. 80 Nm (Im zusammengebauten Zustand darf der Gewindering max. 1mm über die Gehäuse-Planfläche herausragen). Area of application The KEMPER KHS-plus maximum flow isolating ball valve with spring-reset servo drive Figure is intended for use in potable water installations for the KHS-hygienic system to shut off distribution lines as well as individual feeds, maintain use as intended in PWC and PWH. If power fails, the valve automatically closes (currentless closing). The valve can be controlled via: the building management system (BMS) the KEMPER KHS-Timer (Figure ) the KEMPER KHS-Mini System Control (Figure , , ) the KEMPER Leak Protection System (Figure ). Important notice on the limitations ions of use of the KHS-plus maximum flow isolating ball valve: Always comply with the limitations of use of the KHS-plus maximum flow isolating ball valve (please refer to the KEMPER flow diagrams for the KHShygiene system in For the purpose of ensuring the functional reliability of the flow isolating ball valve at all times, the maximum flow speed of 5 m/s in the flush line must not be exceeded. If required, a pressure reducing valve can be installed (approx. 50 cm in front of the maximum flow isolating ball valve) for limitation of the inlet pressure. Installation and Assembly Note: The advice of system manuals (e.g. KHS-Mini System Control, Leak Protection System, KHS- Timer) in which the valve is to be integrated, must be observed. Recommendations: a) Maximum flow isolating ball valve It is recommended to install the maximum flow isolating ball valve in the pipeline in advance without the servo drive to protect the servo drive from being damaged or getting dirty. Make sure the valve is installed in the pipeline tension free. b) Servo drive with spring-reset Before installing the servo drive, make sure the home position is set. 14 3.1 Adjust servo drive The servo drive has 8 alignment steps that can be aligned 45 each. To do that, select the appropriate servo drive position, depending on the amount of space. 3.2 Put on servo drive Press the drive firmly onto the cone and fix it with the locknut on the bonnet. Tighten the locknut with the hook wrench. 3.3 Setting the valve home position Home position: Check that the home position of the valve is closed. Make sure the position indicator is vertical to the pipe axis. 3.4 Fixate the servo drive on the valve Fixate the servo drive using an SW 10 mm hexagonal wrench, tightening torque 7.9 Nm Manual KHS-plus maximum flow isolating ball valve 4

15 3.5 Manual operation The valve can be opened with the supplied crank. Place the crank in the hexagon and rotate counterclockwise. This position can be fixed with a cross screwdriver if necessary. 17 5. Connection as a 2-point controller After the voltage is applied, the valve opens until force-dependent switch-off occurs. During this, the gear with the brushless direct-current motor is stopped and blocks. When the voltage fails or is switched off, the motor releases the gear so that the valve is closed via the spring. When installing outdoors: We recommend additionally protecting the devices being installed outside of buildings against weather effects. Risk of injury from reset spring. 6. 18 7. Maintenance According to DIN EN 806-5, the operator has to make an annual inspection. After opening and closing cycles, check the sealing elements (3) for wear and replace them if necessary. Dismantling Dismantle the servo drive in the reverse sequence described in Point 3. Undo the thread ring (4) from the housing (1) using a face wrench (5). Remove the bonnet with the ball (2), and the sealing elements (3) (only in open position possible). Pull off the bonnet of the ball with spindle. Check visually ball and sealing elements replace them if necessary. 5 Installation Insert the bonnet with ball (2) and sealing elements (3) into the housing (1) and position at the limit stop (only in open position possible) observe the position of the bonnet -. Tighten the thread ring (4) with a face wrench (5) using approx. 80 Nm torque (in assembled state the thread ring may not project from the housing flat surface more than 1 mm).
