Vi rekommrar att du läser instruktionshäftet noggrant innan du sätter upp ditt tält och att du tränar ordtligt på att sätta upp och ta ner t innan du går ut på din första tur. Trots sin låga vikt är Staika mycket starkt om t används korrekt, m t kräver noggrann skötsel och handhavan för att fungera optimalt. Vi rekommrar dock att du alltid fäster hörn och alla linor, eftersom vädret kan ändras snabbt. Welcome to your new Hilleberg Staika! You have invested in a truly high-d, high quality tt, so take care of your investmt. We strongly recommd that you read these instructions completely before setting up your tt, and that you practice setting up your tt at home before taking it on a backcountry trip. Despite its light weight, the Staika is exceptionally strong if used correctly, but it does require proper care and handling to function at its full pottial. Follow ALL directions in this booklet. Doing this will sure the greatest longevity of your tt and the maximum befit to you. What s includ with the Staika One outer tt in Kerlon 1800 connected to one inner tt; 6 attached guy lines with line runners; three 387 cm x 10 mm; 16 pegs; stuff bags for tt, poles and pegs; one spare pole section; one pole repair sleeve; and an instruction booklet. note: There are 16 possible peg points on the Staika. Since the Staika is fully freestanding, it does not require any pegs for pitching. We recommd, however, that you always peg down the corners, and that you make guy line use part of your normal routine, since weather in the backcountry is always unpredictable! Trotz seines gering Gewichts ist das Staika bei korrekter Anwdung extrem belastbar. Um optimal zu funktionier, bedarf es jedoch sorgfältiger Pflege und Handhabung. Folge all Anleitung, so wirst Du an diesem Zelt lange Freu hab. Staika Inhalt Außzelt aus Kerlon 1800 mit eingebautem Innzelt. 6 vormontierte Abspannlein mit Leinspannern. Packsäcke für Zelt, Gestänge und Heringe. 1 extra Stangsegmt, 1 Reparaturhülse und 1 Aufbauanleitung. wichtig: Das Staika besitzt 16 Ansatzpunkte für die Heringe. Auch wn das Staika ein freistehs Zelt ist, empfehl wir Dir trotzm immer alle Eck mit Hering zu verankern und alle Abspannlein zu verwd, da sich die Wetterbedingung schnell änrn könn. 2 3

3 1 2 Att välja tältplats 1 Välj så vindskyddad och jämn plats som möjligt, och fri från sådant som kan skada ditt tält. En konvex yta ger bättre spänning och minskar risk för vatt unr tältet. Viktigt om hantering av tältstängerna 2 4 Våra tältstänger är av högsta kvalitet, m är lättviktsprodukt som kräver korrekt hantering annars kan stång knäckas och i värsta fall leda till fara. Kasta aldrig ut stång för ihopsättning eftersom stånglarna kan få sprickor eller andra skador när slår ihop. Vik ut och sätt ihop sektion i taget. Se till att larna går ihop ordtligt och att inte glir isär eftersom glipa kan orsaka stångbrott. Choosing a tt site 1 Find a spot that is as protected as possible from the wind, and that is ev, level and free of anything that might damage your tt. A slightly convex site will create better stretch in the pitching and minimize moisture collecting unr the tt. Important note about pole usage 2 4 Our tt poles are the best available, but they are still lightweight aluminum. Incorrectly handled, a pole can break, which could be pottially dangerous. Never extd a pole by flinging it op, since the sections hitting each other can cause damage. Unfold each pole carefully, seat each section into place, and sure that pole sections do not pull apart during pitching, as the resulting gaps can lead to breakage. 3 4 Die Suche eines geeignet Zeltplatzes 4 1 Wähle ein Platz, r möglichst windgeschützt, eb und frei von Gegständ ist, die Dein Zelt beschädig könnt. Eine leicht konvex gewölbte Stelle gibt m Zelt eine bessere Spannung und Stabilität, und minimiert Nässeansammlung unter r Zeltfläche. Butzung s Gestänges 2 4 Unsere Gestänge sind von bester Qualität. Sie sind auf Leichtigkeit konzipiert und müss korrekt gehandhabt werd. Bei unsachgemäßer Verwdung könn sie brech und Deine Sicherheit gefährd. Werfe nie das Gestänge zum Zusammbau aus, es könnt dadurch Risse or anre Schäd tsteh! Entfalte je Stange und setze sorgfältig ein Segmt nach m anr zusamm. Achte darauf, dass die Teile beim Aufbau nicht auseinanrrutsch. Die dabei tstehd Spalt könn ein Stangbruch verursach. 5

4 1 Lägg ut och fäst tältet 1 Lägg ut tältet. Om t blåser hårt, fäst lina i din ryggsäck eller annat tungt föremål. 2 Fäst hörn. 3 Markpinnarna ska tryckas ner helt och hållet i cirka 45 grars vinkel. 4 Om t ej går att få ner pinn i rätt vinkel är t bättre att använda flackare vinkel än att låta l av pinn sticka upp ur mark. 5 7 Om t är årt att få ner pinn, använd ett hårt föremål för att pressa eller slå ner pinn. 2 3 Lay out and peg the tt 1 Lay out the tt, and, especially in windy conditions, use a guy line to secure the tt to a backpack or other heavy item. 2 Peg the corners. 3 Press in the pegs completely at about a 45 angle to the surface of the ground. 4 It is better to use a shallower angle (closer to parallel to the surface) than it is to leave a peg sticking up from the ground. 5 7 If it is hard to get the pegs in, use a rock or other hard object to press or if necessary, to lightly hammer them in fully. 4 Ausbreit und Befestig s Zeltes Breite das Zelt aus. 5 1 2 SV Uppsättning av Staika. 1 Varje kanal är färgmarkerad. Kontrollera att båda ändarna av stång går in i kanaler med samma färgmarkering. 2 Se till att stångändarna bottnar i kanalerna. 3 & 4 Fäst krokarna på stängerna. I hård vind är t bäst att göra t i spiralform nedifrån och upp så att höjd på tältet blir dsamma på alla sidor. 5 Gom att pressa ner stång bit blir t lättare att fästa sista krokarna. 6 Vid behov kan dubbla stänger monteras vilket ökar stabilitet för mest extrema situationerna. 7 & 8 Fäst krokarna på vtilskydt i matchan ringarna (lämna alltid fäst som har toggles och ring koppla) och spänn band så vtilskydt är sträckt en Pitching the Staika 1 Each of the short pole sleeves is color cod. Make sure that both ds of each pole goes into matching colored sleeves. 2 Seat the pole ds completely into the pole sleeves. 3 & 4 Clip the hooks to the tt. Especially in windy conditions, clip the hooks in a spiral pattern from the ground up and keep the height of the walls the same on all sis. 5 Pushing down on the pole while pulling the clip can make it easier to affix the last clips. 6 The sleeves and clips will accommodate double poles, which increases stability and strgth for the most extreme conditions. 7 & 8 Clip the hooks on the vt cover to the matching rings on the tt (leave the toggle points connected at all times), and tight the webbing straps to make the cover taut. 7 8 Zeltaufbau 1 Die kurz Gestängekanäle sind paarweise farblich markiert um Verwechslung auszuschließ. 2 Setze die End r Stang in die Gestängekanäle ein. Versichere Dich, dass sie vollständig eingeschob sind. 3 & 4 Befestige alle Hak von unt beginnd reihum aufwärts am Gestänge. So wächst das Zelt gleichmäßig nach ob. 5 Die letzt Hak lass sich leichter befestig, inm man die Stange etwas nach unt drückt. 6 Das Staika kann auch mit einem doppelt Stangsatz verwt werd. In extrem Bedingung erhöht dies orm die Stabilität s Zeltes. 7 & 8 Hake die Lüfterhaube an d dafür vorgeseh Ring ein (trne die Lüfterhaube möglichst nie vom Zelt), und straffe die Spannriem an. 8 9

6 1 Förankra tältet obs: Staika är helt fristå och behöver inte några markpinnar för uppsättning m vi rekommrar ändå att du alltid fäster alla hörn och linor eftersom vädret kan ändras snabbt. 1 & 2 Drag ut linorna i sitt längsta läge och fäst m ligt skiss. Kontrollera att alla markpinnar är helt nere i mark i rätt vinkel (se sid 7.) 3 & 4 Markpinnefäst på sidoväggarna ger möjlighet till extra förankring. obs: Tältlinorna skall vara spända m inte så mycket att ändrar tältets form. 2 Anchoring the tt note: While the Staika is fully free standing and does not require any pegs for pitching, we recommd that you always peg all corners and use all guy lines since weather conditions can change quickly. 1 & 2 Make sure all the guy lines are set to their longest lgth, and peg out the guy lines as shown in the illustration. Make sure the pegs are fully pressed into the ground at the proper angle (see page 7). 3 & 4 An extra peg point in the each panel of the outer tt offers additional achoring if necessary. note: The guy lines should be taut, but not so tight that they form the tt Verankern s Zeltes note: Auch wn das Staika ein freistehs Zelt ist und zum Aufbau keine Heringe bötigt, empfehl wir immer alle Eck mit Hering zu verankern und alle Abspannlein zu verwd, da sich die Wetterbedingung schnell änrn könn. 1 & 2 Strecke die Lein so lang als möglich aus und positioniere sie so, dass das Zelt in alle Windrichtung stabil steht (siehe Skizze). Achte darauf, dass die Heringe richtig sitz (siehe Seite 7). 3 & 4 Zusätzliche Heringsbefestigung befind sich an d Seit s Außzelts. wichtig: Die Abspannlein sollt nur so stark gespannt werd, dass sie nicht die Form s Zeltes veränrn. 11

7 1 2 Användning av yttertältsingångarna 1 4 Öppna ingång helt, rulla ihop tyget och fäst t åt sidan med respåbandsögla och toggle. 5 För att undvika att tyget fastnar i blixtlås är t bra att hålla ett finger framför blixtlåslöpar vid öppning och stängning. obs: Trampa aldrig på dörrflik eller låt d ligga på mark eftersom risk då är stor att t kommer jord, sand eller annat skräp i blixtlås, vilka då snart slutar fungera. 3 4 Using the outer tt doors 1 4 Unzip the door completely, and gather the fabric of the door and roll it tightly towards the si. Secure the bundle of fabric with the elastic loop and toggle. 5 It is a good ia to keep your finger in the zipper as you op or close it. This keeps the door fabric from catching, and will increase the life of your zippers. note: Make sure not to step on the door, or to let it lay on the ground; this will drag the zipper in the dirt, and grit in the zipper will reduce its life span. 5 Butzung r Außzelteingänge 1 4 Öffne d Außzelteingang vollständig, rolle ihn zusamm und fixiere ihn seitlich am Gestänge mithilfe r elastisch Schlauf und Knebel. 5 Führe beim Öffn und Schließ ein Finger vor m Schieber tlang, um zu verhinrn, dass sich Gewebe im Reißverschluss verhakt. wichtig: Vermei es auf die geöffnete Eingangstür zu tret or sie am Bod lieg zu lass, da Sand und Schmutz die Reißverschlüsse dauerhaft schädig

8 1 2 3 Användning av innertältsdörrarna Båda halvorna av innetältsingångarna kan rullas helt åt sidan. Ena halvan har helt myggnät, täckt av reglerbar vävlucka som kan rullas ner och fästas. 1 3 För att ta undan dna l av ingång öppna bägge blixtlås helt, rulla undan hela tygl åt sidan och fäst d med toggle och resår. 4 & 5 Innan du rullar d andra ingångshalvan åt sidan, lossa d yttersta toggeln upptill på gaveln. 6 & 7 Rulla ihop tyget och fäst t med toggle och resårband vid ingångssidan. obs: Låt aldrig dörrflikarna ligga på mark eller trampa på d eftersom t kan innebära att sand, jord eller annan smuts fastnar i blixtlåset och t slutar fungera. 4 5 Using the inner tt doors Both halves of the inner tt trances can be fully rolled to the si. One half is full no-see-um mesh, covered by a zipper-adjustable fabric panel which can be rolled down and secured. 1 3 To roll asi this half of the trance, completely unzip the cter and lower zipper, roll the panel to the si, and secure it with the toggle and loop fasters. 4 & 5 Before rolling asi the all-fabric half of the trance, tach the inner tt toggle loop where the inner tt wall angles towards the top of the tt. 6 & 7 Gather and roll the panel to the si and secure it with the elastic loops. note: Make sure not to step on the doors, or to let them lay on the ground; this will drag the zipper in the dirt, and grit in the zipper will reduce its life span. 6 7 Butzung r Innzelteingänge Bei Türhälft könn vollständig zur Seite gerollt werd. Eine Hälfte besteht aus Mücknetz, geschützt durch eine mittels Reißverschluss verstellbare Abckung, die separat zusammgerollt fixiert werd kann. 1 3 Um eine Türhälfte seitlich zu befestig, öffne d mittler und unter Reißverschluss vollständig. Rolle sie zusamm und fixiere sie mithilfe r Schlauf und Knebel. 4 & 5 Um d gesamt Innzelteingang seitlich zu befestig, löse zuerst am Dachfirst die erste Knebelverbindung vom Innzelteingang. 6 & 7 Rolle die Tür zur Seite auf und fixiere sie mithilfe r elastisch Schlauf. wichtig: Vermei es auf die geöffnet Eingangstür zu tret or sie am Bod lieg zu lass, da Sand und Schmutz die Reißverschlüsse dauerhaft schädig

9 1 2 Användning av vtilation 1 4 De översta larna av yttertältets dörrar är gjord av snösäker, vattavvisan och vtileran väv och kan justeras med dörrblixtlås och kortare blixtlås. De kan nås inifrån tältet och öppnas, rullas ihop och fästas. Vtilation sker äv när luckorna är stängda m maximal vtilation uppnås när är helt öppna. Vtilerna skyddas från dåligt vär med vtilskydt. 5 8 Övre l av innertältets stora vtiler kompletterar yttertältets vtiler och kan justeras för önskad vtilation från helt stängd till maximal öppning Using the vtilation system 1 4 The top portion of both outer tt doors is ma from snow-proof, water repellt and highly air permeable fabric, and is fully adjustable via the door zipper and an additional, shorter zipper. These are accessible from insi the tt, and can be oped fully and secured. Air will flow, ev wh they are zipped closed, although maximum vting is achieved wh they are both rolled down. These vts are protected from bad weather by the vt cover. 5 8 The top of the mesh and fabric half of the inner tt door complemts the outer tt door vt, and can be adjusted as necessary for the sired air flow, from fully closed to completely rolled down and secured. 7 8 Butzung r Lüfter 1 4 Der obere Bereich r Außzelttür ist aus schneedichtem, wasserabweism und hoch luftdurchlässigem Material und lässt sich durch d Tür- Reißverschluss und ein weiter kürzer Reißverschluss einstell. Der Lüfter lässt sich auch vom Innzelt aus bedi. Selbst im geschloss Zustand ist er noch luftdurchlässig. Maximale Belüftung wird erreicht, wn die Lüfter vollständig geöffnet und zusammgerollt fixiert werd. Bei schlechtem Wetter werd sie von r Lüfterhaube geschützt. 5 8 Die ober Bereiche r Innzelttür ergänz die Lüfter r Außzelttür. Sowohl das Mücknetz als auch r Abckung könn auf die gewünschte Luftmge eingestellt und zusammgerollt fixiert werd

10 Nedtagning och packning av tältet. Förläng tältlinor och markfäst för att unrlätta nästa uppsättning. Sopa ur tältet och rgör ev blixtlås med borste. Vid hård vind, fäst av linorna i ett tungt föremål. För att ta ned tältet, gör nu alla momt du gjor vid uppsättning fast i omvänd ordning. Vik ihop stängerna och lägg m, tillsammans med pinnpås, i stångpås. 1 6 Vik ihop tältet och rulla ihop t med stångpås i mitt och lägg ner t i tältpås Alternativt, vik eller packa ner tältet i tältpås utan stångpås och förvara d och stångpå-s inklusive pinnpås separat i ryggsäck. Stoppa ej ner stångpås utanför tältet i tältpås eftersom tältet då kan skadas Taking down and packing the tt Lgth guy lines so your tt is ready for its next use. Brush out the tt and clean the zippers with a brush. In windy conditions attach one guy line to a heavy object, such as a backpack. To take down the tt, reverse the steps you used during set up. Fold the poles and put them, along with the pegs in their bag, into the pole bag. 1 6 Fold the tt, roll it around the pole bag, and sli the bundle into the tt bag Alternatively, fold or stuff the tt into the tt bag without the poles, and pack the pole bag separately in your pack. Do not push the pole and peg bags down the si of the filled tt bag, as this could damage your tt Abbau und Verpack s Zeltes Stelle alle Abspannlein auf ihre maximale Länge ein, das erleichtert d nächst Aufbau. Lege die Stang zusamm und stecke sie in d Gestängesack. 1 6 Lege das Zelt zusamm und rolle es um d Gestängesack Alternativ kannst Du das Zelt auch ohne d Gestängesack verpack und dies mit m Heringssack separat verstau. Stopfe unter kein Umständ Gestänge- or Heringssack neb das Zelt in d Zeltpacksack - dies kann das Zelt beschädig! 18 19

11 1 2 Utnyttja förl med hopkoppla inner- och yttertält Du kan utnyttja yttertältet separat gom att ta bort innertältet. obs: Yttertältet är vatttätt m väv är ej vtileran, vilket innebär att t är mer känsligt för konds. Med ett löst skyddsgolv (säljs separat) undviks markfukt och t blir mer bekvämt m t tar ej bort all konds. 1 6 Gom att lossa hela eller lar av innertältet erhålls ett stort utrymme som blir bra plats för att samla större grupp. obs: I mycket fuktiga förhålland kan du ta loss innertältet innan tältet tas ner och förvara innertältet separat. Nästa gång du sätter upp tältet, sätt först upp ytter tältet och koppla sedan in t torra innertältet. 3 4 Taking advantage of the linked inner and outer tts Detaching the outer tt from the inner tt allows you to pitch the outer tt as you would the complete tt. note: The outer tt is waterproof but not breathable, so is more prone to condsation. Adding a Footprint (sold separately) protects from ground moisture and makes an outer tt-only setup more comfortable, but will not prevt condsation. 1 6 Partially or fully disconnecting the inner tt gives more room, and the larger space makes a fine group gathering place. note: In extremely wet conditions, you can tach the inner tt completely before taking down the tt and store it in a separate bag. At your next camp spot, set up the outer tt, th reattach the still-dry inner tt. 5 6 Nutze d Vorteil s heraustrnbar Innzeltes Du kannst das Außzelt separat butz, inm Du das Innzelt heraus nimmst. wichtig: Das Außzelt ist wasserdicht, jedoch nicht atmungsaktiv. Dadurch kann sich Kondswasser bild. Eine Zeltunterlage (optionales Zubehör) kann die Kondswasserbildung reduzier, jedoch nicht komplett verhinrn. 1 6 Inm Du das Innzelt ganz or teilweise vom Außzelt trnst, erhältst Du ein geräumig Platz. wichtig: Bei sehr feucht Witterungerhältniss kannst Du das Innzelt vor m Abbau herausnehm und getrnt verpack. Beim nächst Aufbau, baust Du zuerst das Außzelt auf und befestigst danach darin das trocke Innzelt

12 SV Uppsättning av innertältet separat 1 Tag loss innertältet från yttertältet och fäst Staikas stånghållarpaket, (säljs separat) så att stånghållarna med lösa linorna är framför tältingångarna. 2 4 Träd gom stängerna gom resårband på två korsan taksömmarna och sätt stångändarna i stånghållarna. 5 & 6 Träd d tredje stång gom resårband i d taksöm som går mellan ingångarna och sätt in stångändarna. 7 Vira d lösa linan runt stång och fäst ring i toggeln i resår ovanför dörr. 8 Justera linsträckarna mellan stånghållarna så tältet står bra. obs: Innertältet är vattavvisan m ej vatttätt. Använd t separat bart i torrt och bra vär. 5 6 en Pitching the inner tt separately 1 Detach the inner tt from the outer tt, and attach the Staika pole holr kit (sold separately) so that the pole holrs with the free cord are in front of the tt s doors. 2 4 Thread poles into the two crossing lines of toggle loops, and seat the pole ds into the pole holrs. 5 & 6 Thread the remaining pole through the loops along the doors zipper lines, and seat the ds. 7 Wrap the free cords up the poles, and insert the toggle on the elastic loop above the door into the ring on the d of the cord. 8 Adjust the line runners on the pitching kit so that all the pole holrs rest evly on the ground. note: The inner tt is water repellt but not waterproof. Use it alone only in dry conditions and wh you do not expect bad weather. 7 8 Aufbau s Innzeltes ohne Außzelt 1 Trne das Inn- vom Außzelt. Verbin das Stanghalter-Set (Sonrzubehör) am Innzelt. Die Stanghalter mit d frei Leind lieg vor d Eingäng. 2 4 Führe zwei Stang durch die diagonal Schlaufreih am Innzelt und stecke die End in die Halter. 5 & 6 Führe die dritte Stange durch die Schlauf tlang r Innzelteingänge und stecke die End in die Halter vor d Eingäng. 7 Wickle die frei Lein aufwärts um die Stang und befestige die Ringe r Leind an d Knebeln über d Eingäng. 8 Straffe die Leinspanner, bis alle Stanghalter gleichmäßig d Bod berühr. wichtig: Da das Innzelt wasserabweisd jedoch nicht wasserdicht ist, sollte man sich diese Option bei gutem Wetter ohne Regrisiko vorbehalt

13 SV EN Skötsel av ditt Staika Förvara aldrig tältet längre tid utan att torka t först. Efter varje användning skall t hängas upp för torkning, helst med stängerna isatta så att vävarna kommer ifrån varandra. Innan t torkas och packas, städa ur tältet ordtligt. Om t behöver rgöras använd trasa med ljummet vatt. Granska hela tältet och laga vid behov. Kontrollera alla blixtlås och borsta ur m med hård borste. Detta är extra viktigt om du har använt tältet i sandiga eller smutsiga områd. Om blixtlås inte sköts ordtligt, minskar ras livslängd. Rgör markpinnarna och ersätt skada eller borttappa. After your tt is dry and you have checked it completely, pack it into its stuff bag with the tt rolled around the pole bag (put the peg bag into the pole bag first). Falls gügd Platz an einem trock, lichtgeschützt und kühl Ort vorhand ist, hänge das Zelt besser auf, anstatt es im Packsack aufzubewahr.
