4 Product overview >> Landing page Controls and Sensors Geared cam limit switches for YAW Drives The mechanical switching contacts for stopping the rotary motion of the nacelle by means of predefined end positions in form of cable anti-twist protection and diverse position feedback systems with analogue (e.g. potentiometers, shaft encoders or similar) or digital (e.g. absolute encoders, incremental encoders or similar) sensors for YAW drives are integrated in one housing. Customised pluggable solutions ensure quick and easy installation. We are happy to develop together with our customers special cam configurations for Gray code binary systems, for example. We support our customers in every stage of development with modern 3-D design techniques in order to offer the benefit of our extensive expertise in the applications of our geared cam limit switches for wind turbines at an early stage. 9 Product overview >> Landing page Controls and Sensors Geared cam limit switches for PITCH Drives The mechanical switching contacts and high-precision singleturn or multiturn absolute encoders for pitch drives are integrated in one housing. In addition to safe switch off in the limit positions, the absolute blade position in wind operation is signalled to the control via 1:1 driven encoders. The use of pretensioned, also in combination with Wheel adjustments, ensures a backlash-free rotary motion from the ball joint to the input shaft of the encoder. Customised easy to use plug solutions can also be provided for pitch switches for quick and easy installation. Using the Finite Element Method (FEM), a comparison of the principal stresses occurring in a conventional brake (Fig. 1) as opposed to the CB 90 A (Fig. 2), shows an effect that is clearly perceivable. Neben der gesicherten Abschaltung in den Endlagen wird die absolute Stellung der Blätter im Wind über 1:1 angetriebene Encoder der Steuerung zurückgemeldet. Durch Einsatz von vorgespannten Antriebszahnrädern, auch in Verbindung mit Radjustierungen, werden spielfreie Drehbewegungen von der Kugeldrehverbindung bis zur Eingangswelle des Drehgebers gewährleistet. 40 produktübersicht >> Startseite Solutions SCHEIBENBREMSEN für Windturbinen Seit Anfang der achtziger Jahre spielt GKN Stromag eine sehr aktive Rolle im Bereich der Windenergie. Bis 2009 wurden unter dem Namen SIME die Produkte in den Markt gebracht, dies wird heute im Geschäftsbereich Wind Energy Products der GKN Stromag erfolgreich fortgesetzt. GKN Stromag entwickelt ständig Spitzenprodukte für einen ständig globalen Markt. Heute werden Bremsen für alle Bewegungen einer Windturbine entwickelt und produziert, das umfasst die Gondelverstellung (Azimut) sowie die schnelle und langsame Rotorwelle. Neben den Bremsen werden auch Rotorlocks und kundenspezifische Lösungen für individuelle Kunden hergestellt. Unsere Produkte sind nach GL2010 zertifiziert und wir begleiten unsere Kunden durch den Zertifizierungsprozess ihrer Windkraftanlage. Wir sind stolz auf unsere lange Erfolgsgeschichte und unseren großen Kundenstamm und werden auch weiterhin, zusammen mit unseren Kunden, neue innovative Ideen entwickeln.
