Aufbau 8 OUTPUT 15 ERROR 8 INPUT Die Roboter Anschaltbox besitzt an ihrer Frontseite 16 grüne LED s und 16 gelbe LED s zur Statusanzeige der digitalen Ein-/Ausgänge des Roboters 2 rote LED s zur Anzeige des Fehlerstatus der Ausgänge. X3 X2 X1 X4 X0 NA 24V An der Rückseite befinden sich vier 24-polige (X1 X4) Centronicsbuchsen zum Anschluss der Peripherie. eine 50-polige (X0) Centronicsbuchse zum Anschluss der Roboter-Steuereinheit (RV-AJ). ein 6-poliger Schraubklemmstecker (NA 24 V) zum Anschluss der 24 V Versorgungsspannung und zur Realisierung der NOT-AUS Abschaltung der Ausgänge. Funktion 8 OUTPUT 15 ERROR 8 INPUT Die gelben Leuchtdioden OUTPUT bzw zeigen den Status der Ausgänge bzw an Die grünen Leuchtdioden INPUT bzw den Status der Eingänge bzw des I/O Interface der Driveunit an. Über die roten Leuchtdioden wird der Fehlerstatus der Ausgangstreiber angezeigt. Die obere bzw. untere Leuchtdiode leuchtet, wenn einer der Ausgänge bzw kurzgeschlossen oder thermisch überlastet ist. Über die Roboteranschaltbox werden die 16 an der Buchse X0 angeschlossenen digitalen Ein-/Ausgänge der Driveunit des Roboters auf die Buchsen X1...X4 verteilt. Die Verteilung der E/A s erfolgt so, dass es möglich ist mit der Driveunit eine komplette Station Montage im MPS zu steuern. 6 Festo Didactic GmbH & Co. KG

7 2. Funktion Buchse X1 An der Buchse X1 liegen die Eingänge I8...I15 und die Ausgänge Q8...Q15 des Roboters. Damit stehen über X1 8 I/O s zum Steuern der MPS Station Montieren zur Verfügung. Buchse X2 Die Buchse X2 stellt die Robotereingänge I1, I2, I6 und I7 an den Pins 14, 15, 13 und 20 zur Verfügung. Hier können die Eingänge der Station Roboter angeschlossen werden. Buchse X3 An der Buchse X3 liegen die Eingänge I3, I4, I5 auf den Pins 13, 14, 15 sowie die Ausgänge Q0, Q1, Q2 und Q3 auf den Pins 1, 2, 3 und 4. Diese Buchse ermöglicht den Anschluss eines Bedienfeldes. Buchse X4 Die Buchse X4 stellt die restlichen Ausgänge des Roboters Q4, Q5, Q6 und Q7 auf den Pins 5, 6, 7 und 8 zur Verfügung Pinbelegung des 24-poligen Centronicssteckers Festo Didactic GmbH & Co. 8 2. Funktion Buchse NA 24 V Über diese Buchse erfolgt die Versorgung der Anschaltbox mit 24 V. Über zwei Brücken NA1 und NA2 kann eine die gezielte Abschaltung der Ausgänge erfolgen. NA1 wirkt auf die Ausgänge Q0...Q7. NA2 schaltet die Ausgänge Q8...Q15 ab. Dadurch kann auf einfache Weise die Einbindung in ein bestehendes Not-Aus Konzept erfolgen. Design 8 OUTPUT 15 ERROR 8 INPUT The front of the robot interface unit is equipped as follows 16 green LED s and 16 yellow LED s for the status display of the digital inputs/outputs of the robot 2 red LED s for the error status display of outputs. 14 2. Function 8 OUTPUT 15 ERROR 8 INPUT The yellow LED s OUTPUT 0 to 7 and 8 to 15 indicate the status of outputs 0 to 7 and 8 to 15 respectively. The green LED s INPUT 0 to 7 or 8 to 15 indicate the status of inputs 0 to 7 and 8 to 15 respectively of the I/O interface of the drive unit. The error status of the output drivers is displayed via the red LED s. The upper or lower LED is illuminated if one of the outputs 8 to 15 or 0 to 7 respectively is short-circuited or thermally overloaded. The 16 digital inputs/outputs of the robot drive unit connected to the socket X0 are distributed to sockets X1 to X4 via the robot interface. The I/Os are distributed in such a way as to facilitate the control of a complete MPS assembly station via the drive unit. 14 Festo Didactic GmbH & Co. KG

15 2. Function Socket X1 Robot inputs I8 to I15 and outputs Q8 to Q15 are located at socket X1, whereby more than X1 8 I/O s are available for the control of the MPS assembly station. Socket X2 The socket X2 provides robot inputs I1, I2, I6 and I7 at pins 14, 15, 13 and 20. This socket is for the connection of the inputs of the robot station. Socket X3 Socket X3 provides the inputs I3, I4, I5 at pins 13, 14, 15 as well as outputs Q0, Q1, Q2 and Q3 at pins 1, 2, 3 and 4. This socket facilitates the connection of a control panel. Socket X4 Socket X4 provides the remainder of the robot outputs Q4, Q5, Q6 and Q7 at pins 5, 6, 7 and Pin allocation of the 24-pin Centronics plug Festo Didactic GmbH & Co. KG

16 2. Function Socket NA 24 V The 24 V power supply to the interface unit is effected via this socket. The disconnection of specific outputs can be realised via two bridges NA1 and NA2. NA1 switches off outputs Q0 to Q7. NA2 switches off outputs Q8 to Q15. This facilitates a simple means of integrating an existing EMERGENCY-STOP shutdown.
