5 DIRECTIVES AND REGULATIONS Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC - CE marking: wheels and castors are not to be classified as machinery, partly completed machinery, interchangeable equipment, safety components for machines marketed individually or incomplete machinery and are therefore not subject to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG. A CE marking is not provided for. REACH (EU Regulation No 1907/2006): The necessary preregistrations have been made. Moreover, we have pointed out their obligations to our suppliers. However, we do not expect any negative effects on the supply of our products as a consequence of the REACH regulation, but we reserve the right to adapt our product range. We will not communicate preregistration nos. EU Directives 2003/11/EC, 2002/95/EC, 2000/53/EC: The restrictions and bans on heavy metals, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) as well as brominated flame retardants such as pentabromodiphenyl ether (pentabde) and octabromo-diphenyl ether (octabde) are strictly adhered to. The anti-corrosion coatings containing chrome-vi (yellow, olive green and black chromating) are excluded if they are expressly required by the customers. Resistance to foodstuffs: In principle, there is no need to expect any negative effect on foodstuffs due to our wheel materials.
