Stellenangebot als Fremdsprachenassistent/in am SEK-Catalunya International School, Spain Liebe Studierende, das SEK-Catalunya bietet Studierenden eine Stelle als Fremdsprachenassistent/in für die Fächer Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch an. Bewerbungen können ganzjährig für den Zeitraum September Juli eingereicht werden. Der Beschäftigungszeitraum muss mindestens 10 Wochen umfassen. SEK-Catalunya Das SEK-Catalunya ist eine internationale (dreisprachige) Privatschule in La Garriga, in der Nähe von Barcelona, die von Kindern und Jugendlichen zwischen 3-18 Jahren besucht wird. Die Hälfte der Unterrichtsstunden findet in englischer Sprache statt; der Rest des Unterrichts wird auf Kastilisch bzw. Katalanisch abgehalten. Sowohl Deutsch als auch Französisch werden als moderne Fremdsprachen unterrichtet. Die Schule folgt für alle Alters- und Jahrgangsstufen dem International Baccalaureate Programme (IB). Die Schülerinnen und Schüler können in der 12. Jahrgangsstufe wählen, ob sie das nationale spanische Abitur, oder das internationale Abitur (oder beides) ablegen möchten. Anforderungen als Deutschassistent Sie sollten Muttersprachler/in des Deutschen sein. Spanisch- und Englischkenntnisse sind erwünscht, aber nicht obligatorisch. Driving license Not required Other Description of activities German: Native speaker or C2 (CEFR) 1) Personal Travel Insurance and EHIC to be provided by This placement student. is particularly suited to students who are studying to become teachers and would like the experience of assisting in a large, private school that caters for infants, primary and secondary education. 2) The minimum level of competence in German expected from the trainee is C2 (CEFR) in all four skills. 3) To support the learning of German for our students in class, on the playground, doing sports activities, in the dining hall and at any other incidental opportunity. 4) To help our students practice reading, pronunciation, dictation and speaking in authentic contexts. 5) To work alongside and support our bilingual teachers by helping with the planning of activities, conversation and role plays, enabling our students to improve their German. 6) To take small conversation groups to allow students to carry out skills-based-activities and encourage communication in German. 7) To help with the supervision of students in their break times and extra curricular-activities. 8) To demonstrate an understanding, patient, warm, and receptive attitude towards the students and show interest in the students progress 9) Our students of German are aged from 9 18 years. Most of our assistants are partnered according to their preference, with an Infant, Primary or Secondary teacher. There are also other roles where experience can be gained such as sports coaching for interschool tournaments and debating clubs.
