3 WinIso2D The software solution to calculate two-dimensional heat flow and steam diffusion flow, isotherms, U f -Values and Psi-Values with a DXF-port 3

4 CAD-Conversion a highlight of the software is the fast import of CADdrawings all mistakes and for the calculation unnecessary details, like open lines, hatchings and letterings get purged at the converter 4

5 CAD-Conversion The purged drawing can get exported to WinIso and get edited further or evaluated at once 5

6 Material database The Software offers a widespread material database, based on valid European norms 6

7 Material database detailed information are deposited and can get reviewed for each material furthermore it is possible to add some proper material to the database 7

8 Isotherms Isotherms are curves with the same temperature a good isotherm profile is a quality feature for a good building element the most valuable isotherms, like the 13 C isotherm, get distinguished in terms of color 8

9 Temperature fields In addition to that, the display of the temperature fields provide for a graphical representation 9

10 Heat flow fields Heat flow fields show, where the potential for improvement of the building element concerning the heat transfer is 10

11 U-value the U-value is an amount, how much heat per unit of area get lost through a building element the extensive calculation by hand get omitted by using WinIso 2D 11

12 f Rsi -value the f Rsi -value delivers the requirement to the avoidance of the growth of moulds according to the DIN it is a ration between the lowest temperature of the surface inside and the outside temperature 12

13 U f -value the U f -value is the U-value of the frame and get calculated according to EN ISO without a software, the U f - value only could be determined with extensive measurements 13

14 Psi-value the psi-value is the length-related heat transfer coefficient and gets calculated according to EN ISO and EN ISO all calculations for the working group Warm Edge got calculated with WinIso 2D 14

15 Psi-value the psi-value couldn t get calculated without a software, by reason that the thermal conductance L 2D is also needed out of a heat flow software all valuable measures get determined automatically by the program so that the psivalue can get calculated quickly 15

16 Printout The printout delivers a pleasant presentation of the result 16
