Der Antriebsmotor ist zugleich die Ventilatornabe und wird so durch den Luftstrom optimal gekühlt. Allerdings sollte vermieden werden, daß der Ventilator längere Zeit bei max. Pressung z. B. durch verschlossene Lüftungsklappen läuft, da dies zu einer Verkürzung der Wicklungsund Lagerlebensdauer führt.
