Bei Fahrzeugen mit Werks-Rückfahrkamera ist ein zusätzliches Interface notwendig. Die Installation sollte ausschließlich von einer geschulten Fachkraft durchgeführt werden! Lesen Sie vor dem Einbau diese Anleitung sorgfältig durch! Das Interface ist für 12 Volt ausgelegt! Durch Softwareupdates des Fahrzeugherstellers (diese werden teilweise beim Service der Niederlassungen und Händler vorgenommen) kann die Funktionsfähigkeit dieses Interface eingeschränkt/aufgehoben werden. Für diesen Fall bieten wir bis ein Jahr nach Kauf des Interfaces ein kostenloses Softwareupdate an. Das Interface muss frei eingeschickt werden. Kosten für Ein- und Ausbau auch im Reklamationsfall werden nicht erstattet. Vor der Installation die Zündung abschalten und Fahrzeugbatterie abklemmen, ansonsten initialisiert sich das Interface nicht! Das Interface benötigt Dauerstrom. Sofern die Spannungsversorgung nicht direkt von der Fahrzeugbatterie kommt, muss sichergestellt sein, dass die Spannungsversorgung dauerhaft ist und nicht beim Startvorgang zusammenbricht bzw. abgeschaltet wird. Einbauanleitung IF-POPCM30AVDC Version 06.08.2009 Anschlussbelegung des Kabelsatzes Kabelfarben/Stecker Anschluss/Belegung Rot +12V DC ( Dauerstrom ) Schwarz GND 3.5mm Klinkenbuchse Gerätesteuerung 12-Pin Quadlockstecker-Einsatz Video-Leitung Installation 1. Das PCM aus der Mittelkonsole ausbauen. 2. Quadlockbuchse vom Gerät trennen. 12-Pin Steckeinsatz (Video-Leitung) am Quadlockstecker (Kammer A) anschließen. Einen der beiden Lichtwellenleiter aus der Quadlockbuchse lösen und mit dem LWL-Verbinder mit dem LWL des Interface Kabelsatzes verbinden. Den anderen LWL des Interface Kabelsatzes in den jetzt freien Steckplatz der Quadlockbuchse stecken. Dabei sind die Richtungspfeile zu beachten (siehe Abbildung). 3. Schwarze Leitung des Interface Kabelsatzes mit Masse, rote Leitung mit +12V Dauerplus verbinden. 4. AV-Ausgang der ersten AV-Quelle mit dem AV-Eingang des Interface mit Chinch-Kabeln verbinden (nicht im Lieferumfang). 5. An der 3.5mm Klinkenbuchs die AV-Quelle(n) mit den IR-Steuerkabeln verbinden (siehe Gerätesteuerung). Seite 2 von 6
Einbauanleitung IF-POPCM30AVDC Version 06.08.2009 Aktivierung des Interface als aktuelle AV-Quelle Die Aktivierung der Audio Video Funktion des Interfaces erfolgt durch Drücken von "SOUE" und dann "TV". Gerätesteuerung Mit dem Interface können ein oder zwei Geräte gesteuert werden. Die steuerbaren Geräte entnehmen sie der Gerätesteuerungstabelle. Für jedes der Geräte wird das passende gesondert zu bestellende IR-Steuerkabel CABIR-xxxAVDC benötigt (siehe Gerätesteuerungstabelle). Sollen zwei Geräte gesteuert werden, so wird ein 3.5mm stereo Klinken Y-Kabel CAB-Y35MM benötigt (Stecker auf zwei Buchsen). Diese werden in die 3.5mm Klinkenbuchse des Interfacekabelsatzes gesteckt, um Anschlüsse für weitere IR-Steuerkabel zu stellen. Die CABIR-xxxAVDC IR-Steuerkabel werden mit dem Klinkenstecker in die Klinkenbuchse(n) der auf der Interfaceseite eingesteckt. HINWEIS zu CABIR-DVC10AVDC Bei Nutzung des CABIR-DVC10 braucht nicht auf die Seite geachtet zu werden. Bei den übrigen CABIR-xxxAVDC IR-Steuerkabeln ergibt sich die Anschlussrichtung aus den Steckern. Der 3.5mm Klinkenstecker wird in den Interfacekabelsatz bzw. den Y-Adapter CAB-Y35MM gesteckt, die jeweils andere Seite des IR-Steuerkabels wird in den IR-Port des entsprechenden Gerätes gesteckt. Zusätzliche Installation des geräteeigenen IR-Sensors Über die Gerätesteuerung können an der Navi die wichtigsten Funktionen der Geräte bedient werden. Einige Funktionen sind nicht nutzbar, da die Anzahl der für die Gerätesteuerung verfügbaren Tasten auf der Navi begrenzt ist. Es ist aber möglich den IR-Sensor des Gerätes zusätzlich zur Gerätesteuerung zu installieren. Dazu wird ein Y-Kabel für den IR-Port des Gerätes benötigt. Seite 4 von 6
Einbauanleitung IF-POPCM30AVDC Version 06.08.2009 Anmeldung des Interface an das PCM Technisch bedingt ist es nach der Installation der Hardware einmalig notwendig das Interface am PCM anzumelden um die Gerätesteuerung nutzen zu können. TV als aktuelle AV-Quelle auswählen. In TV1 Ebene die Autostore TV1 Taste für ca. 1 Sec. betätigen. Touchscreen Tasten "Button 01" bis "Button 06" werden geladen. "Senderliste" Taste betätigen um TV2 Ebene zu aktivieren. In TV2 Ebene die Autostore TV2 Taste für ca. 1 Sec. betätigen. Touchscreen Tasten "Button 07" bis "Button 12" werden geladen. In TV3 Ebene die Autostore TV3 Taste für ca. 1 Sec. betätigen. Touchscreen Tasten "Set DEV" bis "Switch DE" werden geladen. Nach Stromverlust des Interfaces muss die Anmeldung wiederholt werden. Zuweisung der zu steuernden Geräte zu Speicherebenen U1 und U2 TV-Senderliste TV3 aufrufen. Diese Ebene dient der Gerätezuweisung /-Umschaltung. Taste "Set DEV" drücken. Steuerkanal für das zu steuernde Gerät aus der Gerätesteuerungstabelle entnehmen. Über die Tasten "Step+10" und "Step+01" den entsprechenden Steuerkanal eingeben. Mit Store U1 bestätigen um auf Steuerungsebene U1 zu speichern oder mit Store U2 bestätigen um auf Steuerungsebene U2 zu speichern. Die Steuerung der Geräte erfolgt über die TV-Senderlisten TV 1 (Button 01 bis 06) und TV 2 (Button 07 bis 12) sowie über die Track +/- Tasten der Navigation. If an original rear-view camera is installed, an additional interface is required. This device should only be installed by a qualified person. Please read the instructions carefully before installing the device. The interface is specified for 12 Volt. The efficiency of this interface may be affected by software updates undertaken by the vehicle manufacturer or their representing dealers. In such cases and within one year of the date of purchase, we provide the relevant software updates free of charge. We do not, however, give refunds for the installation or dismantling costs on such occasions, and the interface must be delivered to us. Before installation, switch off the ignition and disconnect the vehicle's battery, otherwise the interface does not initialise! The interface requires constant current. In as far as the power supply does not come directly from the vehicle battery, you must ensure that the power supply is constant and neither collapses during starting process nor is switched off. De-install the PCM from the centre stack. 2. Disconnect the Quadlock socket from the device. Connect the 12-pin plug insert (video cable) to the Quadlock socket (chamber A). Disconnect one of the two fibre optic cables from the Quadlock socket and connect it to the FOC connector with the FOC from the interface cable set. Plug the other interface cable set into the Quadlock socket slot which is now free. At the same time, observe the direction arrows (please refer to the illustration). 3. Connect the black cable from the interface cable set to earth and the red cable to+12v permanent positive. 4. Connect the AV output for the first AV source with the AV input for the interface with cinch cables (not included in the scope of delivery). 5. Connect the AV source(s) to the IR control cables at the 3.5mm -jack plug (please refer to the device control). Page 2 of 6

INFORMATION regarding CABIR-DVC10AVDC If the CABIR-DVC10 is used, you need not pay attention to the side. For the remaining CABIR-xxxAVDC IR control cables, the connection direction is made clear by the plugs themselves. The 3.5mm jack is inserted in the interface cable jack bush loom of cables or the Y-Adapter CAB-Y35MM, the respective opposite side of the IR control cable is inserted in the corresponding device's IR port. Additional installation of the device's own IR sensor Device control on the navigation system can be used to operate the devices' most important functions. However, it is possible to install the device IR sensor in addition to device control. For this purpose, a Y cable is needed for the device's IR port. Page 4 of 6
Installation manual IF-POPCM30AVDC Version 11.08.2009 Logging the interface on to the PCM For technical reasons, after installing the hardware it is necessary to "log" the interface on to the PCM in order to be able to use the device control. Select TV as the current AV source. At TV1 level, press the "Autostore TV1 key for approx. 1 second. The touch screen keys "Button 01" to "Button 06" are loaded. Press "transmission list" in order to activate the TV2 level. At TV2 level, press the "Autostore TV1 key for approx. 1 second. The touch screen keys "Button 07" to "Button 12" are loaded. At TV3 level, press the "Autostore TV3 key for approx. 1 second. Touch screen keys "Set DEV" to "Switch DE" are loaded. After the interface has had electrical losses, you must repeat logon. Assignment of the devices to be controlled for storage levels U1 and U2 Access TV3 transmission list. This level is used for device assignment / device switching. Press the "Set DEV" key. Take the control channel for the device to be controlled from the device control table. Use the "Step+10" and "Step+01" keys to input the control channel.
