CUSTOMER INFORMATION 2014-08-06 EEX launches Trade Registration Service for Futures on Brent 901 oil-price formula Dear trading participants, On 8 September 2014, the European Energy Exchange (EEX) is introducing a Trade Registration Service for Brent 901 Formula futures in cooperation with its clearing house European Commodity Clearing (ECC). This offering expands the range of standardized energy products offered by EEX and ECC towards the Crude Oil market. The aim is to provide market participants with a comprehensive clearing offering for financially settled contracts linked to the Brent 901 oil-price formula, which is especially used in the Italian natural gas and power markets. Product Setup The new financially settled Brent 901 Formula futures will be available for Trade Registration under the following product short codes: WKN ISIN Short Code Name A11RN4 DE000A11RN43 B91M Brent 901 Formula Month A11RN5 DE000A11RN50 B91Q Brent 901 Formula Quarter A11RN6 DE000A11RN68 B91Y Brent 901 Formula Year Underlying The final settlement price of the cash-settled Brent 901 Formula Month future is the Argus Brent 901 Index price for the respective delivery period as published in the Argus European Natural Gas report on the last Argus publication day each month, converted into /MWh using a factor of 1.00. The Argus Brent 901 Index I, denominated in /bl and published in the Argus European Natural Gas report, is calculated as: The average of monthly averages, rounded to two decimal places, of the daily Argus assessment of North Sea crude for the nine months before the reference month. For each publication day, the Argus North Sea forward month one assessment will be used, except on the day of expiry of the forward month one assessment, in which case the Argus North Sea forward month two assessment will be used. The resulting nine month average is rounded to two decimal places and converted into Euro using the average of the EUR/USD reference rates as published by the European Central Bank during the reference month. Trade Registration of the new products will be possible during the regular opening hours of the exchange, from 8.00 a.m. until 6.00. p.m. (CET). KUNDENINFORMATION 2014-08-06 EEX erweitert Trade Registrierung um Futures auf die Brent-901 Ölpreisformel Sehr geehrte Handelsteilnehmer, Am 8. September 2014 führt die EEX in Zusammenarbeit mit ihrem Clearinghaus European Commodity Clearing (ECC) einen Service zur Trade Registrierung von Futures auf die Brent- 901 Ölpreisformel ein. Mit diesem Angebot erweitern EEX und ECC ihre Palette an standardisierten Energie- und energienahen Produkten um Ölprodukte.
