User starts in his office or meeting room A user in a BMW office in Garching has an appointment with a Siemens employee at the Siemens Campus in Neuperlach (e.g. in room 46.0771). Where am I? DEMO SCENARIO: STEP 2. User opens intermodal travelling application (CML demo app) Via app the user can look up meeting rooms and offices and determines his destination. In parallel he will be localized at his current position (e.g. in the office). DEMO SCENARIO: STEP 3. Intermodal route calculation The app plans an intermodal route for our user. Following modalities are considered: car, public transport (MVG), Car Sharing (Drive Now), pedestrian (indoor and outdoor). The user chooses the option which suits best for him. Individual mobility preferences and avoid of certain modes of transport (OPTIONAL) Individual mobility preferences can be defined and are considered for the planned route (e.g. avoid modes of transports, maximum walking distances etc.). The app shows routing options to the user Possible routing options are shown in the app as follows: route display on map, visualization of different modalities per route segment, visualization of additional route details (e.g. duration, ETA, modes of transport etc.). DEMO SCENARIO: STEP 7. User starts the route The actual position of the user is shown as dot (CCP/CPP). During his route the position representation follows the position of the user. Option B: User opts for public transport route (tickets are available directly from within the app) If there the user wants to use public transport there is a button to buy a ticket next to the routing information in the app. When he clicks on this button a test ticket is been generated. DEMO SCENARIO: STEP 10. User arrives at Siemens Campus in Neuperlach The app shows the user the appropriate entrance gate and shows the way in the Siemens Campus and into the building. The user arrives at the meeting room, his meeting can start.
