Niemals den heißen Reflektorkopf, nur den Leuchtenarm im mittleren oder unteren Bereich berühren! Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Hersteller durchgeführt werden. 2
Produktbeschreibung Occhio controller ist ein Tastdimmer für Occhio Niedervolt-Halogen-Leuchten der Schutzklasse 2 mit optionaler Sensorbedienung und Sensorpadanschluss. Zur Verwendung mit Occhio-Leuchten auf Aufbaudosen mit Kabeldurchführung. Das mitgelieferte Isomontageset isoliert die Leuchte vom Untergrund und ermöglicht so die Sensordimmung durch Berührung des Leuchtenkörpers. Montage $ Achtung! Vor der Montage alle stromführenden Leitungen vom Stromnetz trennen! Schutzfolie der Isolierfolie abziehen und auf die Rückseite der Dose kleben. Aussparung mit einem Cutter ausschneiden. Aufbaudose an gewünschter Stelle an die Wand setzen und so drehen, dass die Gewindebuchsen zur Leuchtenmontage waagrecht ausgerichtet sind. Positionen der Bohrlöcher durch die Befestigungsschlitze anzeichnen. Vor dem Bohren auf den Verlauf von Leitungen in der Wand achten! Zwei Löcher ø 6 mm bohren, Dübel bündig einsetzen. Aufbaudose mit mitgelieferten Kunststoff- Isolationsscheiben an Hohlraum-/Einputzdose schrauben. Darauf achten, dass die Schrauben gegenüber der Aufbaudose isoliert sind, da sonst die Sensordimmung in ihrer Funktion beeinträchtigt ist. Dose waagrecht ausrichten und Schrauben festziehen. 6
Montage Kabelende des Occhio controllers durch die Tülle führen. Die gewünschte Länge des Kabels festlegen, Zugentlastung aufschieben und die Schraube in der Zugentlastung festziehen. Dann das überstehende Kabel auf ca. 8 cm kürzen. Occhio controller 12 V Sensor Gegebenenfalls Kabelenden abisolieren und mit Aderendhülsen versehen. Kabel nach Schema an die Klemme anschließen. Sensorkabel in der Mitte (Symbol Erde) anschließen. 7

An- und Ausschalten/Dimmen Occhio controller im Auslieferungszustand: Schalt- und Dimmfunktion über Tastwippe. Kurzes Betätigen der Tastwippe schaltet die Leuchte ein und aus. Occhio controller Setup Controller mit eingestecktem Pin: Schalt- und Dimmfunktion nur über Tastwippe. Kurzes Betätigen der Tastwippe schaltet die Leuchte ein und aus. Längeres Betätigen der Tastwippe dimmt die Leuchte stufenlos auf und ab. Controller mit entferntem Pin: Schalt- und Dimmfunktion über Tastwippe und durch Berühren der Metalloberfläche am Leuchtenkörper. Kurzes Berühren des Leuchtenkörpers oder Betätigen der Tastwippe schaltet die Leuchte ein und aus. Längeres Berühren des Leuchtenkörpers oder Betätigen der Tastwippe dimmt die Leuchte stufenlos auf und ab. $ Vorsicht! Niemals den heißen Reflektorkopf, nur den Leuchtenstab im mittleren oder unteren Bereich berühren! Controller mit eingestecktem Sensorpad: Schalt- und Dimmfunktion über Tastwippe und durch Berühren des Sensorpads. Kurzes Berühren des Sensorpads oder Betätigen der Tastwippe schaltet die Leuchte ein und aus. Längeres Berühren des Sensorpads oder Betätigen der Tastwippe dimmt die Leuchte stufenlos auf und ab. Beim Abziehen des Occhio sensorpads vom controller wird automatisch ein kurzer Einstellungs- und Dimmvorgang ausgeführt. 11
Sensordimmung Die Funktionsweise des Sensordimmers kann unter Umständen durch Spannungsschwankungen, störende Netzfrequenzen in der Stromversorgung oder zu gute Isolierung des Anwenders gegenüber dem Boden beeinträchtigt sein. Mögliche Abhilfe: Netzstecker umgekehrt in die Steckdose einstecken. Sensorfunktion durch Einsetzen des Kunstoffpins deaktivieren und Leuchte über den Controller steueren. 12
Pflegehinweise Zur Reinigung der Metall- als auch der Glasteile der Leuchte empfehlen wir die Verwendung eines Glasreinigers. Leuch te nur in abgekühltem Zu stand reinigen! 13

$ 0.2m Safety precautions Electrical components must be assembled only by qualified personnel. Before working on the lamp, always disconnect it from the mains. Maintain the minimum safety distance from flammable materials. Before changing the reflector head and the bulb, switch off the lamp and allow it to cool down. Caution, risk of burns. Never touch the reflector head while it is hot. Only handle the middle or bottom part of the lamp stem. Repairs must be carried out only by authorised, qualified personnel or the manufacturer. 18
Product description Occhio controller is a touch dimmer for Occhio low voltage halogen lamps, safety class 2, with optional sensor operation and sensor pad connection. For use with Occhio lamps mounted on spacing boxes with a cable gland. The supplied iso mounting kit isolates the lamp from the base and thus enables sensor dimming by touching the lamp body. Mounting $ Caution Before mounting, disconnect all current-carrying lines from the mains supply. Remove the protective film from the insulating foil and stick it to the back of the spacing box. Use a cutter to cut out the recess. Place the spacing box at the desired position on the wall and turn it so that the bushings for mounting the lamp are aligned vertically. Mark the position of the drill holes through the fixing slots. Before drilling, check where the cables are routed in the wall. Drill two 6 mm diameter holes and insert the wall plugs flush with the wall. Screw the spacing box to the plastering/ built-in box with the plastic insulation washers supplied. Make sure that the screws are insulated from the spacing box, otherwise the sensor dimming operation may be adversely affected. Align the box horizontally and tighten the screws. 22
Mounting Guide the cable end of the Occhio controller through the grommet. Determine the desired length of the cable, slide on the cord grip and tighten the cord grip screw. Then shorten the remaining cable to approx. 8 cm. Occhio Controller 12 V Sensor If necessary, strip the ends of the cable and fit with wire terminations. Connect the cable to the terminal as shown in the diagram. Connect the sensor cable in the middle (earth symbol). 23

Switching on and off/dimming Occhio controller when first delivered: Switch and dimmer function via rocker button. A short actuation of the rocker button switches the lamp on and off. Prolonged actuation of the rocker button continuously brightens and dims the lamp. An overview of the different setup options for the Occhio controller can be found on the following pages. 25

Occhio controller setup Controller with pin inserted: Switch and dimmer function only via rocker button. A short actuation of the rocker button switches the lamp on and off. Prolonged actuation of the rocker button continuously brightens and dims the lamp. Controller with pin removed: Switch and dimmer function via the rocker button and by touching the metal surface on the lamp body. Controller with sensor pad plugged in: Switch and dimmer function via the rocker button and by touching the sensor pad. Touching the lamp body briefly or pushing the rocker button switches the lamp on and off. Touching the lamp body for a longer time or pushing the rocker button produces infinitely variable brightening or dimming of the lamp. $ Caution: Never touch the reflector head when it is hot, only the middle or lower part of the lamp pole. Touching the sensor pad briefly or pushing the rocker button switches the lamp on and off. Touching the sensor pad for a longer time or pushing the rocker button produces infinitely variable brightening or dimming of the lamp. When the sensor pad is removed from the controller, a short setting and dimming cycle is carried out. 27
Sensor dimming The functionality of the sensor dimmer can sometimes be adversely affected by voltage fluctuations, interference from mains frequencies in the power supply or by too efficient an insulation of the user against earth. Possible remedy: Plug the mains plug into the socket the other way round. Deactivate the sensor function by inserting the plastic pin and control the lamp via the controller. 28
Care instructions We recommend using a glass cleaner to clean both the metal and glass parts of the lamp. Always allow the lamp to cool down before cleaning. 29
