Ko Transfer KO-TRANSFER Transfer of innovative European concepts for training and certification in energy-saving construction methods, in order to make qualifications acquired in vocational and advanced training more transparent. The actors of professional education in central europe still do not have an ultimate concept of how to constitute educational performances in a transparent way and how an appropriate acceptance strategy for the specific NQF/EQF could look like. KO-TRANSFER deals with this problem.

Ko Transfer KO-TRANSFER This project is BASED ON the successful Leonardo-da-Vinci project Umbau & KO finished in 2007 as well as on other cooperation projects of the partnership. In the context of Umbau & KO a module ( Energy-safing building ) had been developed which contains a standard competence structure and level classification and therefore facilitates cross-border certification. Now this system is going to be transferred to entire apprenticeships. Ko Transfer Process in the education system qualified worker Professional training and educacion Working sphere Input Process Output Outcome Highly qualified teachers Final examination Training /Education course (three years) Curriculum Educational Transfer Ko Transfer The GOAL of the project is the strengthening of transparency, comparability and cross-border acceptance of gained qualifications by (1) making a contribution to the realization of a transparent system of educational competence identification and certification (for selected professions in the construction sector) and (2) systematically involving innovative contents (energetic building renovation) in the apprenticeships. In this context we will adapt and further develop competence analysis, competence standards regarding the NQF (DQF German Qualification Framework), ECVET and EQF, certificates, requirements, training regulations and curricula that consider the actual need for education.
