Basic Hyperswap Update Failover / Failback after Hyperswap After a Hyperswap (H1->H2)... you can get back to the original configuration by issuing a STARTH2->H1, then when you are back in sync issuing a "SWAP" command, and then get back into your original configuration by issuing a STARTH1->H2 command. This should be quick, since the storage devices should maintain their bitmaps of changed tracks while they are suspended, assuming the failure is not such that the bitmaps are lost... TPC-R v4.1 uses WAS OEM Edition TPC-R v4.1, which will announce on April 28th and GA on May 22nd. TPC-R v4.1 is based upon "WAS OEM Edition" instead of SSRE (System Services Runtime Environment). So if they install TPC-R Basic Edition v4.1, and later want to upgrade to one of the licensed versions, they only need to purchase a license for the feature, install it, and automatically TPC-R Basic Edition becomes either Two-Site or Three-Site, depending upon which license you purchased. With TPC-R Basic Edition v3.4, it is based on SSRE, and a customer must install WAS 6.1 in order to upgrade to one of the priced versions. Problem Documentation Upload Utility The IBM z/os Problem Documentation Upload Utility is a parallel File Transfer Protocol (FTP) utility that is designed to send documentation in a more efficient manner to IBM FTP sites.
