Cnnecting the pwer supply 1. Plug the DC utput cnnectr f the included pwer adaptr int the 19VDC pwer input at the back f the DVR. WARNING: nly use the included adaptr. 2. Plug the included pwer cable int the adaptr input cnnectr and plug the ther end int the mains. D nt switch the DVR n yet. Cnnecting a camera 1. Yu can cnnect up t fur suitable cameras (included). Each camera needs its wn pwer supply. 2. Cnnect the vide utput f the camera t either vide input at the back f the DVR. The number next t the input cnnectrs represents the channel number. Cnnectr type is BNC (cables included) Cnnecting audi 1. The DVR supprts fur audi inputs. Cnnect the audi utput f an audi surce t an audi input f the DVR. Make sure t cnnect the audi channel t the crrespnding vide channel. Cnnectr type is BNC. 2. There is als an audi utput cnnectr. Cnnect an audi device e.g. a speaker t this cnnectr when desired. Cnnectr type is BNC. Cnnecting Lcal Area Netwrk (LAN) Cnnect the DVR t a lcal netwrk by plugging a netwrk cable int the LAN prt at the back f the DVR. Cnnectr type is 8P8C (RJ45). 7 7. Preliminary settings Make sure the cnnected cameras are pwered n. Set the pwer switch f the DVR at the back f the device t ON. It takes abut 15 t 30 secnds t start up. Setting date and time Befre using the DVR the time and date shuld be set t get a valid time stamp. 1. Press the MENU buttn and enter the admin passwrd t g int the menu list. 2. Select the QUICK START menu item. 3. Use the navigatin buttn t mve t the TIME SETUP menu item. Select it t set date and time. Nte: nce recrding started, d nt change date r time as this will make it very difficult t find back the recrded files. Nte: when using the DVR fr the first time and the crrect time is set, leave it n fr at least 48 hurs. Passwrd setting 1. Press the MENU buttn and enter the passwrd t g int the menu list. 2. Select the SYSTEM menu item. 3. G t TOOLS. Select ADMIN PASSWORD (r OPERATOR PASSWORD) and press the ENTER buttn t set the passwrd. Nte: an peratr can nt access the main menu, nly the quick menu bar (see belw). 4. Press the cursr up ( ) r dwn ( ) buttn t select the value f the first number and press enter t save and g t the next character, r use the muse t select the desired value. 8 Recrd settings CCTVPROM15 1. Press the MENU buttn and enter the passwrd t g int the menu list. 2. Select the QUICK START menu item. 3. Select the GENERAL menu item using the navigatin buttn. 4. Set the image size, image quality and images per secnd fr recrding. 5. Refer t the full user manual n the included CD-ROM fr mre details. Audi playback Press the SLOW and ZOOM buttn simultaneusly t select the desired audi channel r use the quick menu bar (see belw). The current audi channel is indicated in the status bar. Switch users 1. The DVR can be accessed as administratr ( ) r peratr ( ), icns are indicated in the status bar. 2. T switch between users, click n the user icn ( r ) t lck the current sessin ( ). 3. Press n the key lck icn ( ) than enter the passwrd f the desired prfile. 8. Push vide cnfiguratin If yu have iphne, ipad r Andrid mbile device, yu can use the DVR's push vide functin: the DVR will send a ntificatin t yur device when an alarm event ccurs. T d s, yu need t install an app called EagleEyes n yur mbile device (see Installing the EagleEyes app belw). Nte: Only certain alarm-in pins supprt the push vide functin. 8.1 PIN Cnnectin An I/O bard is supplied with this DVR t help yu quickly knw which pin supprts push vide (see table belw). 9 8.2 Installing the EagleEyes app Prerequisites Befre installing EagleEyes t yur mbile phne fr remte surveillance, make sure yu have checked the fllwing: Yu have subscribed t and yu can access mbile internet services fr yur mbile phne. Nte: Yu might be charged fr internet access via wireless r 3G netwrks. Fr the internet access rate details, please check with yur lcal netwrk peratr r service prvider. Yu have nted dwn the IP address, prt number, user name and passwrd used t access yur netwrk camera frm the internet. Where t dwnlad 1. Cnnect t frm yur mbile device, and sign in. Please d nt try t dwnlad EagleEyes frm yur cmputer. Fr Andrid, select the dwnlad link frm the website t start dwnlading. Fr iphne and ipad, tw versins f EagleEyes are available: EagleEyesHD Plus (at a fee), and EagleEyesHD Lite (free). 2. Select the versin yu want, and yu will be directed t the App Stre t dwnlad the applicatin. 3. When the dwnlad is cmpleted, EagleEyes will install autmatically t the default lcatin r any lcatin yu chse. Nte: Fr mre details abut cnfiguring and perating EagleEyes, please visit ur fficial website Cnfiguratin Befre cnfiguring push vide, make sure: 1. The DVR system is set up as described in pint 3 Cnnectin and Setup in the full manual n the included CD-ROM. 2. The DVR is cnnected t the internet. 3. The EagleEyes app is installed n yur mbile device (see Installing the EagleEyes app abve). Steps 1. On the DVR, right click t display the main menu. G t Advanced Cnfig. > Ntify. Set Guard t On and cnfigure yur alarm sensr type (N.C. r N.O.). 2. Open EagleEyes, and add this DVR t the EagleEyes address bk. Fr mre details abut EagleEyes peratin, please visit 3. 11 Quick menu bar Nte: nly available when USB muse is cnnected. Mve the pinter twards the left f the mnitr t pen the quick menu bar: Open channel switch panel. Shw playback cntrl panel. Zm-in mde (select desired channel first befre entering zm-mde). Select audi channel (live mde nly live channels can be selected). Enter PTZ mde and shw PTZ cntrl panel Click t shw the pwer ff panel t either halt r rebt the system. Recrding Check whether the camera r cameras are prperly cnnected. When the aut-recrding and pre-alarm functins are enabled, the device will start recrding images. Default the recrding icn ( ) is shwn. In case the mtin r alarm detectin is activated and a mtin r alarm is detected, the mtin ( ) resp. alarm ( ) icn is shwn. When timed recrding is enabled, the timed recrding icn ( ) is shwn and the timed recrding LED is n. Default, the device is in HDD verwrite mde and the icn ( ) is shwn. Available types are ALARM, MANUAL, MOTION, SYSTEM and FULL LIST. Select a list and recrding frm this list. Press ENTER t start play-back. Installatie van de hardware Raadpleeg de figuren p pagina 2 van deze handleiding. Aansluiting van een videmnitr Sluit een cmpatibele mnitr (niet meegeleverd) aan de BNC f VGA vide-uitgang achteraan uw DVR. Aansluiting van de vedingsadapter 1. Steek de DC-stekker van de adapter in de 19 VDC-ingang achteraan de DVR. WAARSCHUWING: Gebruik enkel de meegeleverde vedingsadapter. 2. Kppel de vedingskabel aan de adapter en kppel de adapter vervlgens aan het lichtnet. Schakel de DVR ng niet in. Aansluiting van een camera 1. Deze DVR is geschikt vr gebruik met 4 cmpatibele camera s (niet meegeleverd). Elke aangeslten camera heeft een eigen veding ndig. 2. Sluit de vide-uitgang van de camera aan de BNC vide-ingang achteraan de DVR. Het nummer naast de aansluiting duidt p het kanaalnummer. Audiaansluiting 1. De DVR heeft vier audi-ingangen. Sluit de audi-uitgang van de audibrn aan de audi-ingang van de DVR. Zrg ervr dat u het audikanaal aansluit p het crrecte videkanaal. Gebruik hiervr een stekker van het type BNC. 2. De DVR heeft k een BNC audi-uitgang naar een extern auditestel, bv. een luidspreker. Aansluiting p een LAN-netwerk Vr een aansluiting p een LAN-netwerk, sluit de DVR via een netwerkkabel aan p een LAN-prt achteraan de DVR. Gebruik hiervr een stekker van het type 8P8C (RJ45). Om de netwerkaansluiting in te stellen, druk p de menuknp en selecteer CR-ROM 7. Basisinstellingen Zrg ervr dat de aangeslten camera's zijn ingeschakeld.. Opmerking: Laat een pas ingestelde DVR gedurende 48 uur ingeschakeld. Instellen van een wachtwrd 1. Druk p MENU en geef het wachtwrd in m het menu weer te geven. 2. Selecteer het submenu SYSTEM. 3. Ga naar TOOLS. Selecteer ADMIN PASSWORD (f OPERATOR PASSWORD) en druk p ENTER. Opmerking: Een gewne gebruiker heeft geen tegang tt het hfdmenu, enkel tt de menubalk (zie hiernder). 4. Stel het nieuwe wachtwrd in met de tetsen f, en bevestig met ENTER. U kunt de gewenste digit k met de muis selecteren. Herhaal vr de resterende digits. Opmerking: Het standaard admin wachtwrd is 0000 (4x nul). Instellen van de pnamefunctie 1. Druk p MENU en geef het wachtwrd in m het menu weer te geven. 2. Selecteer het submenu QUICK START. 3. Afspelen van audi Druk gelijktijdig p SLOW en ZOOM m het audikanaal te selecteren f gebruik de menubalk (zie hiernder). Het geselecteerde audikanaal staat in de statusbalk weergegeven. Selecteren van de gebruiker 1. De DVR kan dr een administratr ( ) f een gebruiker ( ) bediend wrden. Het symbl staat in de statusbalk weergegeven. 2. Klik p het gewenste symbl ( f ) m als administratr f gebruiker in te lggen ( ). 3. Druk p en geef het wachtwrd van het gewenste prfiel in. 8. Cnfiguratie Pushbericht Met een iphne, ipad f Andrid-testel, kunt u de functie pushbericht van de DVR gebruiken: de DVR stuurt een bericht naar uw testel van zdra een alarm afgaat. Hiervr dient u de EagleEyes-applicatie installeren p uw mbiele testel (zie De EagleEyes-applicatie installeren hierna). Opmerking: Enkel bepaalde alarm-in pinnen ndersteunen pushberichten. 8.1 PIN-aansluiting Een I/O-kaart wrdt met deze DVR meegeleverd m snel te bepalen welke aansluiting pushberichten ndersteunt (zie tabel hiernder). PIN Overeenkmstig videkanaal 4CH-mdel PIN1 CH1 Sluit de alarmsensr (bv. zals magnetische cntacten) aan p de I/O-aansluiting die pushberichten ndersteunt. U kunt eender welk type sensr gebruiken maar deze met vrzien zijn van een drg cntact. 8.2 De EagleEyes-applicatie installeren Vereisten Vrdat u EagleEyes vr bewaking p afstand installeert p uw mbiele telefn, zrg ervr dat u het vlgende hebt gecntrleerd: Mbiele internetdiensten zijn ingeschreven en beschikbaar m te gebruiken vr uw mbiele telefn. Opmerking: De ksten vr internettegang via draadlze f 3G-netwerken kunnen mgelijk in rekening wrden gebracht. Vr details ver de tegangstarieven tt het internet, neem cntact p met uw lkale netwerk- f serviceprvider. U hebt het IP-adres, prtnummer, gebruikersnaam en wachtwrd genteerd m uw DVR- f netwerkcamera via het internet te benaderen. V /12/ Velleman nv

19 Waar te dwnladen CCTVPROM15 1. Maak verbinding met vanaf uw mbiele telefn en lg in. Prbeert niet m EagleEyes vanaf uw cmputer te dwnladen. Vr Andrid, selecteer de dwnlad-link van de website m het dwnladen te starten. Vr iphne and ipad, zijn twee versies van EagleEyes beschikbaar: EagleEyesHD Plus (tegen betaling), en EagleEyesHD Lite (gratis). 2. Selecteer de gewenste versie, en u wrdt naar de "App Stre" drgestuurd m de applicatie te dwnladen. 3. Wanneer het dwnladen vltid is, zal EagleEyes autmatisch wrden geïnstalleerd p de lcatie waar alle tepassingen standaard in uw telefn zijn pgeslagen, f waar u pgeeft. Opmerking: Vr meer details ver de cnfiguratie en het gebruik van dit prgramma, raadpleeg nze fficiële website Cnfiguratie Vrdat u pushberichten cnfigureert, zrg ervr dat: 1. Het DVR-systeem is ingesteld zals beschreven in punt 3 Aansluiting en instelling van de vlledige handleiding p de meegeleverde CD-ROM. 2. De DVR is aangeslten p het internet. 3. De EagleEyes-applicatie is geïnstalleerd p uw mbiele testel (zie De EagleEyes-applicatie installeren hierbven). Stappen 1. Op de DVR, klik met de rechtermuisknp m het hfdmenu weer te geven. Ga naar Advanced Cnfig. > Ntify. Zet Guard p On en cnfigureer uw alarmsensr (N.C. f N.O.). 2. Open EagleEyes, en veg deze DVR te aan het EagleEyes-adresbek. Vr meer details ver het gebruik van EagleEyes, raadpleeg de website 3. In de EagleEyes-applicatie, activeer pushberichten zals beschreven hiernder. 4.
