3 Themen: 1. Assist in a project to develop an energy management optimization system for a Hybrid Class 8 Truck. Will include involvement in three main areas: 1. Simulation modeling of components and vehicle-level systems. 2. Simulink modeling of control strategies; auto 2. Developing a fully automated system to build inverter software and test it at the hardwarein-the-loop (HIL) system. Software will be used for future Mercedes-Benz plug-in hybrid vehicles. 3. Develop control algorithms for induction motors. Develop several automatic testing scripts, including both test automation scripts and test data processing scripts Adaption to fit induction motor control algorithms 3 Prof. Dr. rer.nat. 4 Themen: 4. Support bench and vehicle test setup, for electric motor, high voltage component endurance and functionality testing. Support bench test setup, using high voltage motor and electronics (inverter) hardware. Support bench and vehicle test case testing to validate software operation. 5. Support OBD Pre-PVE* validation work. Under supervision of experienced OBD engineer, intern will conduct tasks for basic diagnostic function validation. 6. Focus is to support our Team in the e-motor development activities from concept to production, in particular to develop and design hardware concepts within the electric motor hardware design team. In addition utilizing FEA tools to validate concepts will be necessary.
