3 ICSC World Deaf Chess Championships 2008 St. Gallen, Switzerland Dear Chess friend, The Swiss Deaf Chess Federation is the host of the next World Individual Chess Championships in St. Gallen in Switzerland which will be held from July 19 to August 2, The city of St. Gallen is situated in the northeast of Switzerland about 70 km from Zurich Airport. We will meet you at the airport of Zurich or the rail way station in St. Gallen and bring you to the venue. Those who want to come by bus will get a map ir journey. For your accommodation we have several possibilities. You can choice one yourself. Your arrival date shall be the July 19 an the depart the August 2. We hope that the amount of registered participants will be kept and we would be glad to welcome all participants in St. Gallen. Please check once more your registration by name and the room reservations. Changes can be only accepted till April 15, Once more we draw your attention to the fact that 50% of all costs must be paid immediately (bank account see page 6). Otherwise we can not guaranty the reservation. We will contact you when we receive your applications. Die WM findet vom 19. Juli bis zum 2. August 2008 statt. Die Stadt St. Gallen befindet sich in der Ostschweiz, ungefähr 70 Kilometer vom Flughafen Zürich entfernt. Die Teilnehmer können am Flughafen Zürich oder am Hauptbahnhof St. Gallen abgeholt werden. Diejenigen, die individuell anreisen, bekommen eine Karte. Die Unterkünfte werden von uns organisiert, dazu haben wir verschiedene Angebote. Bitte arrangieren Sie die Reise so, dass Ihre Ankunft am 19. Juli und Ihre Abreise am 2. August stattfinden kann. Wir bitten Sie, Ihre Anmeldungen als verbindlich zu betrachten und wir freuen uns schon, Ihre Mannschaft in St. Gallen sehen zu dürfen! Änderungen an den Anmeldungen können nur bis zum 15. April 2008 berücksichtigt werden. The Accommodation of the category C is primarily for countries with a lower GDP. Countries with a higher GDP can reserve a accommodation of the category C when there is still place for those. Prices are subject to change (it can be lowered, under rare circumstance it can be increased due to the currency exchange rate or the rise in prices) Prices are offered including breakfast, transport to Zurich Airport, Opening ceremony, Close banquet, Trip. For category C transport from the group accommodation to the play hall is also included (about 10 km). For chess players a soft drink for each day is also offered.
