With this in mind we need to make you aware that in a small number of instances, the weld seams on the bracket used for brake adjustment on the backplate may not have been fully completed. In these conditions this could result in the brake assembly not functioning correctly which may pose a risk to its functionality. Accordingly, our records indicate that you may be affected and as a consequence we require a check of the brake assemblies on your vehicle / trailer. Please contact your specialist workshop or alternatively, one of our service stations. 3 Appendices Processing, payment and return of used parts 1. Contact a specialist workshop of your choice and make an appointment to check the axle. 2. Present this letter to the workshop. 3. If the axle or brake needs to be re-welded or removed, have the rework certificate completed by the workshop. 5. It is essential that you have proof of the re-welding (photo) or the replaced part handed over to you. 6. Send invoices, photo or old part and rework certificate to ourselves for processing. 6.1 To return the old parts please request a process number from us by e- mail to recall@knott.de Please provide us with your full contact details and account details In order to reimburse you, we require your contact and payment details. 6.2 Please send the old part, the completed rework certificate including your invoices to the following address: Knott GmbH Rückruf Achse Gutenbergstraße 21 D Regenstauf 7.
