3 Title: Basics/Grundlagen. initialisation The data exchange between MODBUS ASCII and KNX is done over the internal memorycard registers. Therefore the software has to write any incoming KNX group address into a specific memorycard location. Also the software has to check cyclically specific memorycard locations if the have changed. If so, the software has to send out a KNX group address with the changed data to the KNX system. On the other side the internal MODBUS/RTU and ASCII master read the memorycard registers and transfers the contents to the MODBUS slave or receives data fromm the MODBUS slave and stores the data into the memory card registers. Be aware that MODBUS holding registert use different encoding for commas or float values. You have to convert this information manually in your software Der Datenaustausch zwischen MODBUS ASCII und KNX wird über die interne MemoryCard ausgeführt. Dazu muss die Software empfangenen KNX Gruppentelegramme in spezielle MemoryCard Register schreiben. Weiters muss die Software zyklisch prüfen, ob sich der Wert in einer MemoryCard Speicherstelle geändert hat und dann eine KNX Gruppenadresse am KNX Bus versenden. Auf der anderen Seite liest der interne MODBUS/RTUoder ASCII Master die Daten aus der meorycard aus und überträgt diese in die internen Register des MODBUS Slaves. Die vom MODBUS Slave gelesenen Registerdaten werden ebenso zyklisch in die interne MemoryCard gespeichert. Passen Sie auf: Sie müssen eine etwaige Konvertierung des Dateninhaltes der MODBUS Register selbst vornehmen. Beispielsweise Fixpunktverschiebung oder Umrechung von Float mit 2 Kommastellen in Ganzzahl. KNX MemoryCard MODBUS ASCII Page 3
