6 Application Explanation of the start screen Making the general project settings The project was created for 19" screens (1366x768) In the case of a different resolution, you activate the automatic adjustment of the screen size by means of the Runtime setting: "Full Screen", "Scroll Bar" and "Adapt Pictures". (the main screen is adapted automatically to your screen) Select the "Operating via Multitouch Monitor" check box if you are working with a multitouch monitor (If the check box is not selected, two-hand operation is simulated.) This allows you to work with two-hand operation even without a multitouch monitor. Integration of a short WinCC demo film The film is maximized by clicking the icon Navigation to the individual topics by clicking the individual buttons Note: Objects and buttons with a shadow can be operated. The shadow signals an action. This is necessary because a mouse pointer cannot be recognized. Seite 6

The monitoring functions are derived automatically from the hardware configuration. All SIMATIC products have integrated diagnostics functions with which you can recognize and eliminate faults.
