6 Improving the FD (=> peptide identification) Projectname: MaxCoy un identification with many (many, many > 10,000) decoys (and targets) for one spectrum One proteomics run contains ~25,000 to 40,000 spectra (at the moment) Dockerize the searches Create a Kubernetes environment to orchestrate this We provide a playground for this in our server room ;) Perform statistics on the results (distribution of scores) and estimate probability of valid identification 6

April 2-3 Teilnehmer im MSc (bevorzugt) oder BSc Erwartete Fähigkeiten: gute Bash-Scripting Kenntnisse Grundlagen in Client/Server Systemen Erfahrung mit Datenbanksystemen (GraphDBs vorteilhaft, SQL ausreichend) Erfahrungen mit Docker oder Kubernetes sind vorteilhaft Grundlagen in statistischen Auswertungen Voraussetzungen (z.b. bestimmte Lehrveranstaltungen) hilfreich, aber kein Muss: VL Bioinformatik der Proteomik Organisation der Arbeit: anfänglich wöchentliche Treffen, erste Besprechung: in der Woche 9.
