4 Die Flughäfen / Heliports ENSB - lufthavn Der Flughafen liegt nahe der Stadt Longyearbyen und ist der größte Flughafen der gesamten Region Spitzbergen. Seit 1975 ist er neben der Schiffahrt der einzige Verbindungsweg zum Festland Norwegens. Derzeit fliegt SAS Scandinavian Airlines mehrmals wöchentlich nach Oslo und Tromsø und auch Norwegian Air Shuttle bietet saisonal Verbindungen in die Hauptstadt an. Daneben starten in Lonyearbyen vereinzelte Rund- und Forschungsflüge zum Nordpol und in die gesamte Polarregion sowie Charterflüge nach Moskau. ENSA - Svea flyplass Der private Flugplatz wird von Store Norske, einem norwegischen Kohlebergbauunternehmen betrieben und bedient das Bergbaudorf Sveagruva mit Mitarbeitern. Rund 30 Flüge werden mit der Dornier Do 228 der Fluggesellschaft Lufttransport AS nach Longyearbyen durchgeführt. ENPY - Pyramiden helikopterhavn Der durch die russische Firma Arktikugol betriebene Hubschrauberlandeplatz wird für den Transport der Minenarbeiter nach Barentsburg und Longyearbyen genutzt. Interesante Flugrouten Longyearbyen Pyramiden Flugzeug: Helicopter Mil Mi-8 von Spark+/Arktikugol Flughöhe: VFR Route: Nach dem Start von Longyearbyen folgen Sie dem Radial 030 outbound LON NDB (350) entlang der Küste. Bei 16nm erreichen Sie ein Tal. Folgen Sie diesem Tal mit einem Kurs von 015, das Ziel befindet sich am Ende dieses Tales auf der rechten Seite (Radial 080 outbound TOF VOR (115.6). Deutsch ENAS - Ny-Ålesund flyplass Der Flugplatz gehört zum Dorf Ny-Alesund und wird von der staatlichen Forschungsgesellschaft Kings Bay AS betrieben. Mehrere wöchentliche Flüge von Longyearbyen mit der Do 228 bringen Forscher und Ausrüstung in die entlegene Region. ENBA - Barentsburg helikopterhavn Über den Hubschrauberlandeplatz Barentsburg werden überwiegend Mienenarbeiter in die gleichnamige Stadt gebracht. Zwei Mil Mi-8 Der russischen Spark+ fliegen Verbindungen zwischen Longyearbyen und Pyramiden. Longyearbyen Barentsburg Flugzeug: Helicopter Mil Mi-8 von Spark+/Arktikugol Flughöhe: VFR Route: Nach dem Start von Longyearbyen fliegen Sie entweder entlang des Radials 060 inbound ISD NDB (304) oder folgen einfach 6 7

5 der Küste nach Westen. Das Ziel liegt etwa 20nm von ENSB entfernt am östlichen Eingang des nach Süden gerichteten Tales (Kreuzpeilung R060 ISD / R237 LON). Longyearbyen Ny-Ålesund Flugzeug: Turboprop Do 228 Flughöhe: VFR, min. 8300ft Route: Da es auf dieser Route keine Navigationshilfen gibt, müssen Sie Ihrem HSI vertrauen. Verlassen Sie Longyearbyen mit Kurs 320 bis Sie die Küste erreicht haben. Fliegen Sie von dort mit einem Kurs von ca. 305 etwa 35nm. Folgen Sie dabei dem Tal unter Ihnen. Wenn Sie wieder die Küste erreichen liegt das Ziel am westlichen Ufer. Nutzen Sie das NDB NYA (414) um die exakte Position zu finden. Deutsch Longyearbyen Svea Flugzeug: Turboprop Do 228 Flughöhe: VFR, min. 3000ft Route: Nach dem Start von Longyearbyen fliegen Sie bis zum ADV NDB (326). Fliegen Sie von ADV weiter auf dem Radial 169 durch das Tal. Nach Pasieren des Tales erreichen Sie eine Talebene der Sie in süd-westlicher Richtung folgen. Beim Erreichen der Küste drehen Sie nach Osten und folgen Sie dem Radial 250 inbound NSV (371). Der Zielflugplatz liegt 2nm nordöstlich von NSV. 6 Installation Nach dem Kauf des Produktes erhalten Sie einen Link zum Download der Archive mit den Szenerie-Dateien. Sie können diesen Link auch über Ihren Shop-Account aufrufen. Entpacken Sie die Szenerie-Dateien in Ihr X-Plane Hauptverzeichnis. Sie müssen sie nicht in den Ordner Custom Scenery kopieren, da dieser Ordner im Archiv bereits enthalten ist. Die komplette Szenerie umfasst folgende sechs Ordner: Aerosoft - ENPY Aerosoft - ENSA Aerosoft - ENAS Aerosoft - ENBA Aerosoft - ENSB Aerosoft - - MESH Nach dem nächsten X-Plane Start sollte die scenery_packs. ini ähnlich der folgenden Zeilen aussehen. I 1000 version SCENERY Deinstallation Um Airport zu deinstallieren, gehen Sie bitte in den Custom Scenery Ordner und löschen Sie einfach die sechs oben aufgeführten Ordner, die zur Szenerie gehören: Die Szenerie Airport ist eine realitätsnahe Umsetzung der Inselgruppe Spitzbergen für den Flugsimulator X-Plane 11. Das norwegische Archipel im Arktischen Ozean liegt nördlich des Polarkreises zwischen dem 74. und 81. Breitengrad und wird damit von der Standardinstallation von X-Plane nicht abgedeckt. Das Szeneriepaket Airport füllt damit nicht nur eine Lücke in der X-Plane Landschaft, sondern beinhaltet alle Flughäfen und Heliports der Region: lufthavn, Longyear (ENSB), Svea (ENSA), Ny Alesund (ENAS), Barentsburg (ENBA) und Pyramiden (ENPY). Um die Wintertexturen zu aktivieren, starten Sie die Datei JSGME.EXE im XPlane-Installationsordner. Hier können Sie die einzelnen Flughäfen aktivieren bzw. deaktivieren, für die Wintertexturen angezeigt werden sollen. Deutsch 12 13

8 The airports / heliports Recomended flight routes: ENSB - lufthavn The airport of is near the town of Longyearbyen. It is the biggest airport of the region of Spitzbergen and apart from the shipping route the only connection to the mainland of Norway. SAS Scandinavian Airlines frequently flies to Oslo and Tromsø whereas Norwegian Air Shuttle only services Oslo seasonly. Other flights from Longyearbyen are for research missions to the North Pole and the arctic region as well as charter flights to Moscow. ENSA - Svea flyplass The private airfield is operated by Store Norske, a Norwegian coal company and serves the mining village of Sveagruva. A Dornier DO 228 of Lufttransport AS service 30 flights to Longyearbyen. Longyearbyen Pyramiden Aircraft: Helicopter Mil Mi-8 by Spark+/Arktikugol Altitude: VFR as required Route: After takeoff at Longyearbyen leave Radial 030 outbound LON NDB (350) along the coast. At 16nm you will enter a valley. Wollow it on heading 015, the airport is at the end on the left side (Radial 080 outbound TOF VOR (115.6). English ENAS - Ny-Ålesund flyplass The airfield belongs to the village of Ny-Alesund and is operated by the national research company Kings Bay AS. Multiple weekly flights service Longyearbyen in a Dornier DO 228 for researchers and their equipment. ENBA - Barentsburg helikopterhavn The Heliport Barentsburg offeres services for the miners for flight to the town. Two Mil Mi-8 of the Russian Spark + fly between Longyearbyen and Pyramiden. ENPY - Pyramiden helikopterhavn The russian caompany Arktikugol operates this Heliport which is used for transportation of the miners between Barentsburg and Longyearbyen. Longyearbyen Barentsburg Aircraft: Helicopter Mil Mi-8 by Spark+/Arktikugol Altitude: VFR as required Route: After takeoff at Longyearbyen you can either fly the Radial 060 inbound ISD NDB (304) or simply follow the coast to the west. The airport is approx. 20nm from ENSB at the eastern entrance into the south-directed valley (cross bearing R060 ISD / R237 LON)

9 Longyearbyen Ny-Ålesund Aircraft: Turboprop Do 228 Altitude: VFR as required, min. 8300ft Route: As there are no navigation aids you need to trust in your HSI. Leave Longyearbyen on heading 320 until reaching the coast. Then fly heading 305 for aprox. 35nm. You should follow a valley below. When reaching the sea again the airport is on the westside of the coast. Use NYA (414) to get to the exact position. Longyearbyen Svea Aircraft: Turboprop Do 228 Altitude: VFR as required, min. 3000ft Route: After takeoff at Longyearbyen fly to ADV NDB (326). Leave ADV on Radial 169 outbound through the valley. Once paced you will enter a valley floor which you have to follow in south-western direction. When reaching the sea fly heading east and follow the Radial 250 inbound NSV (371). The Airport is located 2nm northeast of NSV. 10 Installation After purchasing the scenery you will receive a link to the archive containing the scenery files. You can also find that link in your order history. Unpack the scenery files into your X-Plane root folder. You don t need to copy it into the Custom Scenery folder as this folder is already included in the archive. The complete scenery contains the followimg six folders: Aerosoft - ENPY Aerosoft - ENSA Aerosoft - ENAS Aerosoft - ENBA Aerosoft - ENSB Aerosoft - - MESH Removing If you just want to remove the scenery, then simple remove the six folders listed obove from your Custom Scenery directory. Scenery Airport is a highly realistic recreation of the islands for X-Plane 11. The Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean is situated about midway between continental Norway and the North Pole. The islands range from 74 to 81 northern latitude, north of the Polar Circle. Tihs aerea isn t covered by the X-Plane default scenery. So the scenery package Airport not only fills this gap in the X-Plane landscape but also includes all airports and heliports of this region: lufthavn, Longyear (ENSB), Svea (ENSA), Ny Alesund (ENAS), Barentsburg (ENBA) and Pyramiden (ENPY) English After the next X-Plane start your scenery_packs.ini should look similar to this.
