2 World Championship in Casting Sport 2015 September 9 13, 2015 _Hluboká nad Vltavou _Czech Republic Dear friends of sports,, Allow me to address you on behalf of myself and of the National Council of the Czech Anglers Union at the occasion of the organization of the Senior Casting World Championship Casting has had a long tradition in the history of sports activities of the Czech Anglers Union (ČRS), and it is our most successful angling sport on the domestic, European and World level. This year, we commemorate the 80th anniversary of the organization of the first competition in this discipline in the territory of the former Czechoslovakia ( Jindřichův Hradec). Both casting and the organization of our Anglers Union have significantly changed since. Very well organized care for angling youth is an important part of the activity of ČRS and this provides us with an opportunity to bring up quality young competitors not only in casting, but also in other angling sports. A similar system of organization and support also exists in other age categories and this provides us with the possibility of organization of quality domestic and international competitions in co-operation with CIPS and ICSF. In the senior category, we have organized several world championships in Svit, 1982 in Karlovy Vary, 1992 in Plzeň and the last 2 World Championships (2009 and 2011) in České Budějovice, where we have a very experienced team of organizers and a good quality background. It is pleasant that all organized international sport events are well assessed by both participants and world federations and they are usually well remembered. A similar situation exists in casting in the youth and veteran category and in other angling sports. Almost in all sports activities, both domestic and international, participation of our competitors is sponsored from the budget of our Czech Anglers Union. Thus the Czech Anglers Union ensures the representation of the Czech Republic with a minimum contribution from the government and this does not happen in any other sport in the Czech Republic. Both the organized care for youth and care for sports activities is paid for by members of ČRS and the Moravian Anglers Union (in total about 300,000 members) through all organizational units of ČRS. Along with the training activities of our competitors, this results in our sporting success and organizational experience. Finally, I would like to wish you a pleasant stay in the southern region of the Czech Republic, lots of sporting success and friendly meetings. We hope that ČRS and our event organizers will not disappoint you, that you will enjoy the Championship and that it will remain in your memories. 3 Sehr geehrte Sportfreunde,, erlauben Sie mir, Sie mit meinem Namen und namens des Republikrates des Tschechischen Anglerverbandes in der Tschechischen Republik anlässlich der Veranstaltung der WM der Erwachsenen 2015 in Casting zu begrüßen. Casting hat in der Geschichte der Sportaktivitäten des Tschechischen Anglerverbandes eine langjährige Tradition und ist in den letzten 15 Jahren unser erfolgreichster Anglersport sowohl im einheimischen als auch im europäischen und Weltmaßstab. In diesem Jahr gedenken wir des 80 jährigen Jubiläums der ersten Wettbewerbe in dieser Sportdisziplin auf dem Gebiet der damaligen Tschechoslowakei (1935- Jindřichův Hradec (Neuhaus)). Seit dieser Zeit haben sich sowohl das Casting als auch die Organisation unseres Anglerverbandes geändert. Ein bedeutender Bestandteil der Tätigkeit des Tschechischen Anglerverbandes ist eine sehr gut organisierte Pflege um die junge Anglergeneration, die die Möglichkeit gibt, hochwertige junge Wettkämpfer nicht nur im Casting auszuwählen und zu erziehen, sondern auch in anderen Anglersportarten. Ein ähnliches System der Organisation und Unterstützung haben wir auch in anderen Alterskategorien, und das gibt uns die Möglichkeit hochwertige einheimische und internationale Wettbewerbe in Zusammenarbeit mit CIPS und ICSF zu veranstalten. In der Kategorie der Erwachsenen haben wir schon einige WM veranstaltet, und zwar im Jahre 1966 in Svit, im Jahre 1982 in Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad), im Jahre 1992 in Pilsen und die zwei letzten WM (2009 und 2011) in České Budějovice (Budweis), wo wir ein sehr erfahrenes Team der Veranstalter und ein hochwertiges Hinterland haben. Es ist erfreulich, dass alle veranstalteten internationalen Sportveranstaltungen von den Teilnehmern und der Weltföderationen sehr gut bewertet werden und dass sie immer bedacht werden. Ähnlich ist es im Casting auch in der Kategorie der Junioren und Veteranen und auch in anderen Anglersportarten. Praktisch die ganze Sporttätigkeit, sowohl die einheimische als auch die internationale, ebenso die Teilnahme der Wettkämpfer an den Wettbewerben, werden vom Budget unseres Anglerverbandes bezahlt. Damit sichert der Tschechische Anglerverband die Repräsentation der Tschechischen Republik mit einem minimalen Beitrag des Staates. Das gibt es sonst in keinem sportlichen Zweig in der Tschechischen Republik. Sowohl die organisierte Pflege um die Jugend als auch um die sportliche Tätigkeit wird seitens der Mitgliederbasis des Tschechischen und Mährischen Anglerverbandes (ca Mitglieder) über alle organisatorische Teile des Tschechischen Anglerverbandes gezahlt. Das ist neben der Trainingsaktivität unserer Wettkämpfer ein großes Verdienst unserer sportlichen Erfolge und organisatorischen Erfahrungen. Zum Schluss möchte ich Ihnen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in Südböhmen, viele sportliche Erfolge und freundschaftliche Treffen wünschen. Wir hoffen, dass Sie der Tschechische Anglerverband und die Veranstalter des Wettbewerbes seinerseits nicht enttäuschen und dass Ihnen die WM gefallen wird und Sie sich an sie immer gerne erinnern werden. I am glad that you have come to Hluboka nad Vltavou / Czech Republic from different regions of the world. In 2011 was invited to the World Championships to Hluboka and now we can deliver in the same place for the 2nd time the world championships, the Czech Fishing Association. The Czech Fishing Association is known that he is a good host and he offers optimal conditions for the implementation of this international highlight in Castingsport. President Dr. Alexander Sima, Dr. Josef Dolezal and Josef Luxa senior are a guarantee for a perfect organization of these championships. For the second time the mayor of the historic town of Hluboka Engineer Tomas Jirsa is our host. The sports areas of the airfield Hosin will once again offer us optimum conditions. I wish all participants of this Castingsport World Championships success, good sports results, the judges good decisions, the event on a fair, harmonic progression and all visitors exciting and wonderful days in Hluboka. 5 SInternational Casting port Federation I C S F Grußwort des ICSF Präsidenten Kurt Klamet zur Weltmeisterschaft 2015 im Castingsport in Hluboka nad Vltavou/Tschechische Republik Als Präsident des Casting-Weltverbandes ICSF darf ich die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer sowie die Gäste herzlich anlässlich der Weltmeisterschaften in Hluboka nad Vltavou willkommen heißen. Ich freue mich, dass Sie aus den verschiedensten Regionen der Welt nach Hluboka nad Vltavou/Tschechische Republik gekommen sind. Bereits 2011 hatte der tschechische Fischereiverband zu den Weltmeisterschaften nach Hluboka eingeladen und nun dürfen wir an gleicher Stelle zum 2. mal die Weltmeisterschaften austragen. Der tschechische Fischereiverband ist bekannt dafür, dass er ein guter Gastgeber ist und er bietet optimale Voraussetzungen für die Durchführung dieses internationalen Höhepunktes im Castingsport. Präsident Dr. Alexander Sima, Dr. Josef Dolezal und Josef Luxa sen. sind Garanten für eine perfekte Organisation dieser Weltmeisterschaften. Zum zweiten Mal ist auch der Bürgermeister der historischen Stadt Hluboka nad Vltavou Ingenieur Tomas Jirsa unser Gastgeber. Die Sportflächen des Flugplatzes Hosin werden uns auch diesmal optimale Bedingungen bieten. 6 World Championship in Casting Sport 2015 September 9 13, 2015 _Hluboká nad Vltavou _Czech Republic Dear friends of sport, ladies and gentlemen, On behalf of the organizers of the Senior Casting World Championship 2015, allow us to welcome you to the Czech Republic, to South Bohemia, to a traditional place, where this world event will be organized for the third time in the last 6 years (2009, 2011 and 2015). Historically, casting has had a long tradition in the South Bohemian region due to the co-operation and support of the Czech Anglers Union (ČRS). Several competitions on a good sporting and organization level are organized here annually. It is necessary to highlight the aforementioned Senior World Championships, several European and World Youth Championships and annually the ICSF World Cup competition and the Casting International Championship of the Czech Republic. Many competitors from local organizations of the South Bohemian Regional Board have contributed to the reality that for more than 20 years casting has been our most successful angling sport on the domestic, European and world scale. This year we commemorate the 80th anniversary of the organization of the first casting competition according to competition rules in the territory of the former Czechoslovakia. This was in September 1935 in Jindřichův Hradec, not far from České Budějovice, the centre of South Bohemia. Since this time both casting and the organization of competitions and international competition rules have changed several times. Also the organization of Czech (until 1992 also Slovak) anglers have changed into a unified anglers union. Well-organized sporting activity and care for the young angling generation is a significant part of the activity of ČRS and this has helped the development of casting in our country. Not only for these reasons, there was a significant improvement in casting activities in South Bohemia at the beginning of the 1980s and casting has been on a high level ever since. It is logical that in České Budějovice and other South Bohemian local organizations of ČRS we have a very experienced team of organizers and a high-quality background. It is pleasant and historically proven that all organized international sport events in casting categories are well assessed by both participants and world federations and they are well remembered. Therefore, we would like to thank the Czech Anglers Union (Regional Boards and Local Organizations) and members that the entirety of sporting activity both on the domestic and international level is paid from its budget. The organization of the World Championship 2015 was assigned to the Local Organization of ČRS České Budějovice 3 (Josef Luxa and his team) and the representative of the Department of Casting at the National Council of ČRS and also the representative of ICSF (Dr. Josef Doležal). We trust that ČRS and the event organizers will not disappoint you, that you will really enjoy this Championship and you will keep it in your memories. 7 Sehr geehrte Sportfreunde, Damen und Herren, erlauben Sie uns, Sie namens der Veranstalter der WM der Erwachsenen 2015 im Casting in der Tschechischen Republik, in Südböhmen, an dem traditionellen Ort zu begrüßen, wo dieser schon in Folge dritte Top- Wettbewerb jeder Casting- Saison in den letzten 6 Jahren (2009, 2011,2015) stattfinden wird. Casting hat historisch in der südböhmischen Region in Zusammenarbeit und mit Unterstützung vom Tschechischen Anglerverband (ČRS) eine langjährige Tradition. Es werden hier traditionell jedes Jahr einige Wettbewerbe veranstaltet, die ein gutes sportliches und organisatorisches Niveau haben. Es ist nötig, dazu die oben erwähnten WM der Erwachsenen, einige Europameisterschaften und die WM Junioren zu zählen, jedes Jahr den Wettkampf des ICSF Weltpokals und die internationale Meisterschaft der Tschechischen Republik im Casting. Viele Wettkämpfer aus den örtlichen Organisationen des Südböhmischen Gebietsausschusses haben teilgenommen und nehmen teil daran, so dass Casting in den letzten mehr als 20 Jahren unser erfolgreichster Anglersport sowohl im einheimischen als auch im europäischen und Weltmaßstab ist. Es wird hier an die Tatsache angeknüpft, dass wir in diesem Jahr des 80 jährigen Jubiläums der Veranstaltung der ersten organisierten Castingwettbewerbe mit einer festgelegten Wettbewerbsordnung auf dem Gebiet der damaligen Tschechoslowakei gedenken. Das war im September 1935 in Jindřichův Hradec (Neuhaus), unweit Budweis, der südböhmischen Metropole. Seit dieser Zeit haben sich sowohl Casting als auch die Organisation der Wettbewerbe und die internationale Wettbewerbsordnung mehrmals geändert. Es hat sich auch die Organisation der tschechischen (seit dem Jahre 1992 auch der slowakischen) Sportangler in dem einheitlichen Anglerverband geändert. Der Casting- Entwicklung hat auch dazu beigetragen, dass er ein bedeutender Bestandteil des Tschechischen Anglerverbandes war und ist - die gut organisierte sportliche Tätigkeit und die Pflege der jungen Anglergeneration. Nicht nur aus diesen Gründen ist es Anfang der 80er Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts in der südböhmischen Region zu einer bedeutenden Entwicklung der sportlichen Aktivitäten im Casting gekommen, die sich auf dem vergleichbaren Niveau bisher hält. Es ist logisch, dass wir in Budweis und anderen südböhmischen örtlichen Organisationen des Tschechischen Anglerverbandes ein sehr erfahrenes Team der Veranstalter und ein hochwertiges Hinterland haben. Es ist erfreulich und historisch belegt, dass alle internationalen Veranstaltungen in allen Casting- Kategorien von den Teilnehmern und auch der Weltföderationen als gut bewertet werden und dass man sich an sie gerne erinnert. Deshalb möchten wir auch dem Tschechischen Anglerverband (Gebietsverbänden, örtlichen Organisationen) und der Mitgliedsbasis dafür danken, dass die ganze sportliche Tätigkeit - sowohl die einheimische als auch die internationale - aus seinem Budget gedeckt wird. Die Veranstaltung der WM 2015 wurde der örtlichen Organisation des Tschechischen Anglerverbandes České Budějovice 3 (Josef Luxa und seinem Realisierungsteam) und den Vertretern der Abteilung des Castings bei dem Republikrat des Tschechischen Anglerverbandes und zugleich dem ICSF Vertreter (Dr. Josef Doležal) anvertraut.
