Objective The Objective of this project was to create contents and methods for the development of Logistics System Competence through Learning within the Work Process with employees in logistics companies and logistics departments
Approach Development of an approach with approved experts Development/Testing Further Education Concept for LearningProcessMentors Advisory committee and industry experts Workshops with 9 industry experts from 7 companies Interviews with managers and employees for identification of areas for development
Results: Set of Methods for the LearningProcessMentor Catalogue of questions for future reference to structure and deal with different fields of learning Information Dokumentation Ishikawa method for a cause and effect analysis and problem solving within a learning group Problem / Wirkung: Kommunikation Kooperation Collection of pictographs for visualization of processes for information, documentation, communication and cooperation
Results: Further Education Offering for Companies (Brochure) Symposium Change as a Standard Process Optimization in Logistics 2007 Winner of the ESF-Competition Work and Qualification in 2006 Managers from Logistics and Manufacturing companies as well as organizations that recognize the need for networking and drive the establishment of such a network
The registered association (Logistics Network Thuringia) was founded on June 16th, 2008 by 9 founding members as a nonprofit organization. Vision for 2018: If companies require innovative logistics solutions they should come to Thuringia. Here, a network of logistics professionals is established that jointly develops new solutions and implements them.
Fields of Activity of the Logistics Network Thuringia sustaining qualified employees through vocational training and further education establishing a modern understanding of logistics to further develop logistics as a key technology initiating research and development projects across companies setting up an infrastructure for information, communication and cooperation for network members promoting Thuringia as a location for logistics
Conditions for Funding of the Further Education Project for Network Creation joint discussion of competitors regarding a topic that concern all participants involved, specifically: employee competence development experiencing that fruitful cooperation benefiting all parties involved can prosper through communication discovering joint interests and involvement of additional participants supporting project management by further education professionals
