PRESS RELEASE 2015-05-07 PEGAS: April volume increases by 81 percent year-on-year Record volumes on the spot market Leipzig, Paris, 7 May 2015 PEGAS, the pan-european gas trading platform operated by Powernext, announced that a total volume of 77.0 TWh was traded in April 2015. This represents an increase of 81 percent compared to 42.5 TWh traded in April 2014. Spot Markets Overall trading volumes on the Spot Markets amounted to a record of 46.5 TWh in April (April 2014: 18.8 TWh) which is an increase of 13 percent compared to the previous record of 41.2 TWh set in March 2015. On the German GASPOOL and NCG Spot market areas, volumes more than doubled to 22.2 TWh compared to 8.8 TWh traded in April 2014, including a record on the NCG delivery zone with 15.2 TWh (previous record: 14.1 TWh in March 2015). The total volume on the German spot market includes a record volume of 6.0 TWh traded in quality-specific gas products. A high of 11.5 TWh was traded on the French PEG Nord and TRS spot market areas, which accounts for an increase of 91% compared to the volume of 6.0 TWh traded in April 2014 (previous record: 11.1 TWh in January 2015). The volume on the Dutch TTF spot market more than tripled to a new high of 12.5 TWh (April 2014: 4.0 TWh). The previous record was established in January 2015 with 11.0 TWh. The Belgian ZTP spot market registered a volume of 264,286 MWh, while the NBP market area reported a volume of 8,792 MWh. The total volume of spread transactions amounted to 3.1 TWh. Derivatives Markets In April, trading volumes on the PEGAS Derivatives Markets reached 30.5 TWh which represents an increase of 29 percent compared to April 2014 (23.7 TWh). The volume on the German GASPOOL and NCG Futures market areas increased by 31 percent to 6.0 TWh (April 2014: 4.6 TWh). A volume of 4.2 TWh was traded in the French PEG Nord and TRS market areas (April 2014: 3.2 TWh). The Dutch TTF Futures market registered a volume of 19.9 TWh which represents an increase of 24 percent compared to April 2014 (16.0 TWh). The financial futures products for the Italian PSV market area reported a total volume of 446,100 MWh. The new ZEE Futures market launched on 17 April registered a volume of 22,713 MWh. In April, the total amount of spread transactions reached 1.1 TWh. Transactions registered for clearing via Trade

Registration amounted to 4.0 TWh including 3.7 TWh registered through the new Straight-Through Processing service. PRESSEMITTEILUNG 2015-05-07 PEGAS: Handelsvolumen im April steigt um 81 Prozent gegenüber Vorjahr Rekordvolumen am Spotmarkt Leipzig, Paris, 7. Mai 2015 Im April 2015 wurde auf PEGAS, der von Powernext betriebenen Gashandelsplattform, ein Volumen von insgesamt 77,0 TWh gehandelt. Dies entspricht einem Anstieg von 81 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat ( April 2014: 42,5 TWh). Spotmärkte An den Gas-Spotmärkten erreichte das Volumen im April einen neuen Rekord von 46,5 TWh (April 2014: 18,8 TWh). Gegenüber dem bisherigen Rekord von 41,2 TWh im März 2015 ist das Volumen um 13 Prozent gestiegen. In den deutschen Marktgebieten GASPOOL und NCG hat sich das Volumen mit 22,2 TWh mehr als verdoppelt (April 2014: 8,8 TWh). In diesem Volumen sind 6,0 TWh aus dem Handel mit qualitätsspezifischen Gasprodukten enthalten, was einem neuen Rekord entspricht. In den französischen Marktgebieten PEG Nord und TRS wurde im April mit 11,5 TWh ein neuer Höchstwert erzielt (bisheriger Rekord: 11,1 TWh im Januar 2015). Gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat stieg das Volumen um 91 Prozent (April 2014: 6,0 TWh). Das Volumen am niederländischen TTF-Spotmarkt hat sich mit einem neuen Rekord von 12,5 TWh mehr als verdreifacht (April 2014: 4,0 TWh). Der bisherige Rekord in diesem Markt lag bei 11,0 TWh im Januar 2015. Am belgischen ZTP-Spotmarkt wurde im April ein Volumen von 264.286 MWh umgesetzt. Im britischen Marktgebiet NBP wurden 8.792 MWh gehandelt. Das Volumen in den Spread-Produkten am Spotmarkt belief sich auf 3,1 TWh. Terminmärkte Das Volumen an den PEGAS-Terminmärkten stieg im April im Vergleich zum Vorjahresmonat um 29 Prozent auf 30,5 TWh (April 2014: 23,7 TWh). In den deutschen Marktgebieten wurde ein Volumen von 6,0 TWh erreicht, was einem Anstieg von 31 Prozent entspricht (April 2014: 4,6 TWh). In den französischen Marktgebieten wurden im April insgesamt 4,2 TWh gehandelt ( April 2014: 3,2 TWh). Am niederländischen TTF-Terminmarkt stieg das Volumen um 24 Prozent auf 19,9 TWh (April 2014: 16,0 TWh). Im finanziellen Produkt für das italienische Marktgebiet PSV wurde ein Volumen von 446.100 MWh erreicht. Das Volumen am Terminmarkt für das belgische

Marktgebiet ZEE, das am 17. April auf PEGAS gestartet wurde, betrug 22.713 MWh. In den Spread-Produkten wurden im April 1,1 TWh gehandelt. Das Volumen aus Trade Registration belief sich auf 4,0 TWh, wovon 3,7 TWh über Straight-Through Processing zum Clearing registriert wurden. Cela représente une augmentation de 81 pourcent par rapport au volume de 42,5 TWh négocié en avril 2014. Marchés spot Le volume négocié sur les marchés spot a atteint un nouveau record de 46,5 TWh en avril (18,8 TWh en avril 2014), ce qui équivaut à une augmentation de 13 pourcent comparée au pic précédent de 41,2 TWh établi en mars 2015. Le volume négocié sur les marchés spot allemands (zones de marché GASPOOL et NCG) s est élevé à 22,2 TWh (8,8 TWh en mars 2014), avec un record à 15,2 TWh sur la zone de livraison NCG (précédent record : 14,1 TWh en mars 2015). Le volume total sur le marché spot allemand inclut un pic de 6,0 TWh négociés en produits gaz haute et basse qualités. Un volume record de 11,5 TWh a été négocié sur les zones de marché spot françaises PEG Nord et TRS, soit une augmentation de 91 pourcent par rapport au volume de 6,0 TWh traité en avril 2014 (précédent record : 11,1 TWh en janvier 2015). Le volume traité au TTF néerlandais a plus que triplé pour atteindre un nouveau record de 12,5 TWh (4,0 TWh en avril 2014). Le marché spot belge ZTP a enregistré un volume de 264 286 MWh, alors que la zone de marché NBP a vu un volume total traité de 8 792 MWh. Le volume total des transactions sur les spreads a atteint 3,1 TWh. Marchés dérivés En avril, le volume négocié sur les marchés dérivés de PEGAS a atteint 30,5 TWh, soit une augmentation de 29 pourcent comparée au volume de 23,7 TWh établi en avril 2014. Le volume traité sur les marchés dérivés allemands GASPOOL et NCG a quant à lui cru de 31 pourcent à 6,0 TWh (4,6 TWh en avril 2014). Un volume de 4,2 TWh a été négocié sur les zones de marché françaises PEG Nord et TRS (3,2 TWh en avril 2014). Le marché dérivé au hub néerlandais TTF a enregistré un volume de 19,9 TWh, ce qui représente une augmentation de 24 pourcent par rapport au volume de 16,0 TWh négocié en avril 2014. Les contrats financiers de la zone italienne PSV ont atteint

un volume total de 446 100 MWh. Le nouveau marché ZEE Futures a lui enregistré un volume de 22 713 MWh. En mars, les transactions sur les spreads ont totalisé un volume de 1,1 TWh. Le volume des transactions OTC compensées a atteint 4,0 TWh, dont 3,7 TWh conclus par le biais du service d enregistrement Straight Trough Processing.
