1. Deutsch 1.1. Umbau der SmartCard Leseeinheit Im follgenden Kapitel wird der Umbau der SmartCard Leseeinheit beschrieben. Lösen Sie die 2 Befestigungsschrauben des Smart Card Lesegerätes am Seitenblech des Wagens. Ziehen Sie die Anschlußleitungen (1 x Sub-D Stecker männlich, 1 x Sub-D Stecker weiblich und 1 x USB Stecker) von der Gehäuserückseite des SmartCard Lesegerätes ab, und nehmen Sie die Leseeinheit aus dem Wagen. Die Nachfolgende Beschreibung können Sie auch der Betriebsanleitung 1 689 979 873N Kapitel 1.11 entnehmen. 1.3 Arbeiten mit dem Achsmesssystem Schalten Sie nun die Anlage am Hauptschalter und die einzelnen Geräte an ihren Netzschaltern ein. In der Einbauanleitung für den PC 1 689 978 445 wird die Initialisierung des Betriebssystems beschrieben. Der PC läuft jetzt hoch. Legen Sie die CD mit dem Achsmessprogramm in das Laufwerk ein. Über "Start/Ausführen" rufen Sie die Installationsroutine mit "D:\setup.exe" auf. Sie werden aufgefordert eine Sprachauswahl zu treffen. Die nachfolgende Sprachauswahl ist nur für die nachfolgende Installation notwendig! Öffen Sie nun den Deckel der alten SmartCard Leseeinheit (4x Kreuzschlitzschraube), und entnehmen Sie die Smart Card aus dem Kartenleser. Öffen Sie nun den Deckel der neuen SmartCard Leseeinheit (4x Kreuzschlitzschraube), und stecken Sie die Karte in den Kartenleser. Schließen Sie die Gehäusedeckel mit je 4 Schrauben. Stecken Sie nun die Anschlußleitungen an das neue SmartCard Lesegerät und befestigen Sie dieses mit den 2 Schrauben an dem Seitenbblech des Wagens. 1.2. Deinstallation der alten Softwareversion Bild 17: Sprachauswahl Treffen Sie Ihre Wahl und bestätigen diese mit "OK". Die Programmdateien werden installiert. Um das Softwareupdate für den FWA510 / FWA 515 ausführen zu können, muß zuvor die alte Softwareversion für dieses System vom PC entfernt werden. Bitte gehen Sie wie follgt vor: Start Einstellungen Systemsteuerung Software Software Wheel Aligment System auswählen Ändern / Entfernen Software vom System entfernen Bild 18: Dateien werden installiert Das Programm bereitet den Zugriff auf die zu installierende Datenbank vor. Nachdem die Software vom System entfernt ist, fahren Sie mit Schritt 1.3 fort. Bild 19: Installation von MDAC beendet Der PC wird nun neu gestartet und fordert Sie noch einmal auf eine Sprache auszuwählen. 3
Bevor Sie das Achsmess-System in Betrieb nehmen sind die nachfolgenden Einstellungen unbedingt vorzunehmen! Bei der Installationsroutine wird in der Grundeinstellung des Achsmessprogramms der Sensor Typ "Old Sensor" eingestellt. Ist der "Sensor Typ" nicht auf den jeweilig verwendeten Messkopf eingestellt, werden die Daten nicht an das Programm übertragen. Für WA 900 ist der Sensor Typ "Old Sensor" und für WA 920 der Sensor Typ " Radio Device" erforderlich. Bild 20: Sprachauswahl Nach erfolgter Sprachauswahl erscheint der "Willkommen" Bildschirm. Betätigen Sie den Button "Weiter". Die Dateien werden auf Ihren PC installiert. Dieser Vorgang kann einige Minuten dauern. Um den Sensor Typ einzustellen, gehen Sie wie folgt vor: Nachdem das Programm gestartet wurde sehen Sie den Start- Bildschirm. Wählen Sie mit der Pfeil-Taste oben (o) die Schaltfläche "Service Programs" an und bestätigen dieses mit der Eingabetaste (E). Bild 21: Installation der Dateien Nach erfolgreicher Installation wird das System konfiguriert und Sie werden aufgefordert den Vorgang mit dem Button "Fertigstellen" zu beenden. Bild 24: Startbildschirm Danach wählen Sie mit der Pfeil-Taste oben (o) die Schaltfläche "Afte-Sale Service" und bestätigen diese ebenfalls mit der Eingabetaste (E). Bild 22: Installation abschliessen Um das Achsmessprogramm anwenden zu können, muss das System neu gestartet werden. Nach dem Neustart wird das Programm automatisch gestartet. Bild 25: "After-Sale Service" Auswahl Nun haben Sie die Möglichkeit über die "Setup" Eingabefläche die notwendigen Einstellungen vorzunehmen. Bestätigen Sie diese mit der Eingabetaste (E). Bild 26 "Service" Auswahl Mit den Pfeiltasten treffen Sie folgende Auswahl: WA 900: WA 920: "Old Sensor" "Radio Device" Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit der Eingabetaste (E). Bild 27: Sensor Auswahl Nach zweimaligem betätigen der Taste <Esc> werden Sie aufgefordert Ihre Auswahl zu bestätigen. Bild 28: Bestätigen der Auswahl Danch sind Ihre Einstellungen gültig und die Anlage ist für den Betrieb vorbereitet. In der Bedienungsanleitung 1 689 979 873N finden Sie die genaue Funktions- und Bedienungsbeschreibung der vorliegenden Achsmessanlage. 5
2. English 2.1. Installation of the Smard Card reader In the first step you have to remove the old SmardCard reader and install the new one, you find into the kit. Remove the two screws which fix the SmardCard reader at the cabinet. Remove the cables (1 x Sub-D Plug male, 1 x Sub-D Plug female and 1 x USB Plug) from the rear side of the old SmardCard reader and remove the small card out of the reader. The following description you can find also in the manual 1 689 979 873N chapter 1.11. 2.3 Working with the wheel alignment system Turn the unit on at the main switch and the individual devices as well through their separate mains switches. The installation instructions for the PC 1 689 978 445 describe the initialization of the operating system. The PC now boots up. Put the CD with the wheel alignment program into the CD drive. Call up the installation routine with D:\setup.exe under Start/Run. You are now asked to choose your language. The following language selection is only necessary for the following installation! Open the cover of the new SmardCard reader and plug the SmardCard into the holder. Fasten the covers of the SmardCard readers with the screws. Plug the cables to the new SmardCard reader and fasten it at the cabinet. 2.2. Uninstall the old Software Version To do the Software Update for the FWA510 / FWA 515 you have to uninstall the old Software Version from your PC. Steps to unistall the software from your system: Fig. 17: Language selection Make your selection and confirm it with OK. The program files are installed. Start Settings Control Panel Software select Wheel Aligment System remove the software from your system After you have done this steps go on to 2.3. Fig. 18: Files are installed The program prepares for access to the database to be installed. Fig. 19: Installation of MDAC ended The PC is now rebooted and then it asks you once again to select a language. 6
You must make the following settings without fail before putting the wheel alignment system into operation! Sensor type Old Sensor is set as the default setting of the wheel alignment program in the installation routine. If the Sensor type has not been sent to the relevant type of sensor being used, the data is not transferred to the program. Sensor type Old Sensor is required for WA 900 and sensor type Radio Device for WA 920. Fig. 20: Language selection The Welcome screen appears once you have selected the language. Press the Continue button. The files are installed on your PC. This process can take several minutes. Proceed as follows to set the sensor type: You will see the start screen after the programs has loaded. Select Service Programs with the cursor up key (o) and confirm this with the Enter key (E). Fig. 21: Installation of the files Once installation has been completed, the system is configured and you are asked to end the process by pressing the Finished button. Fig. 22: Installation finished The system must be rebooted before the wheel alignment program can be used. After rebooting, the program is loaded automatically.
