Eurex Release 10.0 Versand der Simulations-Kits Für den Simulationsstart von Eurex Release 10.0 am Montag, dem 17. September 2007, verschickt Eurex zwischen Handelsschluss am Freitag, 7. September 2007, und Dienstag, 11. September 2007, die Software-Kits für Eurex Release 10.0 per File Transfer an die spezielle Simulationsumgebung der einzelnen Teilnehmer. Der Versand der Software erfolgt ausschließlich an die bekannten Report-Knoten. Die Zielverzeichnisse und erforderliche Speicherkapazität für den Datentransfer lauten: SUN Solaris (MISS): /opt/gate/transferdir/release01/sun 200 MB Windows (MISS): <ftp-root directory>\release01\win 200 MB Die Simulations-Kits müssen gemäß den Anweisungen in der readme-datei installiert werden, die auf das entsprechende Verzeichnis übertragen wird. Bitte stellen Sie unbedingt sicher, dass Sie die Informationen in der Installationsanleitung befolgen. Hierfür ist es unumgänglich, vor Übertragung der Software die nicht mehr benötigten Dateien aus dem Transfer-Verzeichnis zu löschen. September 2007, steht die Software auf der EEX-Website zum Herunterladen zur Verfügung unter dem Pfad: www.eex.com > Downloads > Software & Installation > Eurex > Simulation Vor Installation des Simulations-Kits für Eurex Release 10.0 muss die Software für GATE 3.5 auf allen MISSServern und Workstations aufgespielt werden. Bitte beachten Sie, dass für GATE 3.5- Installationen, die bisher zusammen mit Eurex Release 9.0 benutzt wurden, keine Änderungen European Energy Exchange AG Page 1
nötig sind. Falls erforderlich, steht die GATE 3.5-Software zum Herunterladen von der Eurex- Website zur Verfügung. Während des Update werden die Benutzerprofile von Release 9.0 auf Release 10.0 konvertiert. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass Ihre Benutzerprofile vor der Konvertierung über Save Settings gespeichert wurden. 2. Änderung des Standardpassworts Aus Sicherheitsgründen wird Eurex Release 10.0 die Verwendung des Standardpassworts durch die Teilnehmer nicht länger unterstützen. Teilnehmer, die noch immer das Standardpasswort benutzen, müssen dieses während ihres ersten Login in das Eurex -System ändern. Bestehende Teilnehmer, die erstmals nach Einführung von Eurex Release 10.0 den @X-ceed Trading GUI oder den @X-tract Clearing GUI benutzen und noch immer das Standardpasswort haben, werden aufgefordert, das Standardpasswort in ein persönliches Passwort zu ändern. Zu diesem Zweck wird während des ersten Login das Fenster Change Password automatisch angezeigt. Das neu gewählte Passwort muss eine Länge von acht Zeichen haben und darf keine Leerstellen enthalten. Eine Wiederverwendung des Standardpasswortes ist nicht möglich. 3. Einführung des Broadcast-Stroms Private Member Message Mit Einführung von Eurex Release 10.0 wird ein neuer teilnehmerspezifischer Broadcast-Strom für Private Member Messages (Strom G ) zur Verfügung gestellt. Um diesen neuen Broadcast- Strom zu erhalten, ergänzen Sie bitte das entsprechende Abonnement in Ihrer eurexsublist.dat - Datei. Weitere Information zum Empfang von Broadcast-Strömen entnehmen Sie bitte den Dokumenten Eurex 10.0 Front-Ende Installation Guide und Eurex 10.0 Front-End Operations Guide. 4. Anforderungen für die Produktzuweisung Mit der Einführung von Eurex Release 10.0 müssen Clearing-Mitglieder ihren verbundenen Non- Clearing-Mitgliedern Produktgruppen oder einzelne Produkte zuweisen. Außerdem müssen Clearing-Mitglieder die Höchsteingabemenge für neue Produkte anpassen, um sicherzustellen, dass diese neuen Produkte ihren verbundenen Non-Clearing-Mitgliedern zum Handel zu Verfügung stehen. Verteilung der EEX Derivatives Market Software über Java Web Start Für alle Web Access Kunden werden die Frontend Software-Komponenten über die von der Deutsche Börse Systems AG betreuten Java Web Start-Server verteilt. Die EEX Derivatives Market Simulations-Software (basierend auf dem Eurex 10.0 Release) wird ab dem 17. September 2007 für den automatischen Download bereitstehen, Web Access Kunden können sich ab dann in das Simulations-Backend einloggen. Wichtig: Es ist zwingend notwendig, dass Web Access Teilnehmer Java jre1.6.0_01 am 17. September 2007 auf dem(n) Web Access-Client(s) installieren und den Java-Cache als auch den Browser-Cache vor dem Starten der Simulation leeren. Die Installation ist auch dann vorzunehmen, wenn die Simulation auf einer bestimmten Workstation nicht genutzt wird. Darüber hinaus darf Java jre1.5.0_09 nicht deinstalliert werden, da es weiterhin für die Produktionsumgebung benötigt wird. Eurex Release 10.0 Distribution of Simulation Kits From close of trading on Friday, September 7, 2007 until Tuesday, September 11, 2007, Eurex will distribute the software kits for Eurex Release 10.0 per file transfer to each member s simulationspecific environment for the start of Eurex Release 10.0 simulation on Monday, September 17, 2006. Distribution of the software will take place to the registered report nodes only. Target directories and required storage space for data transfer are: SUN Solaris (MISS): /opt/gate/transferdir/release01/sun 200 MB Windows (MISS): <ftp-root directory>\release01\win 200 MB Simulation kits should be installed according to the instructions contained in the readme file that is transferred to the appropriate directory. Please make absolutely sure to pay attention to the information contained in the installation guide. It is imperative that files that are no longer used be deleted from the transfer directory before the transmission of the software takes place. Before installation of the simulation kit for Eurex Release 10.0, the GATE 3.5 software must be installed on all MISSes and workstations. Please note that no changes are necessary for GATE 3.5 installations previously used together with Eurex Release 9.0. If required, the GATE 3.5 software is available for download on the Eurex website. During the update, user profiles will be converted from Release 9.0 to Release 10.0. Before conversion, please make sure to save your user profiles by means of Save Settings. 2. Modification of the Default Password For security reasons, Eurex Release 10.0 will no longer support the usage of default password by members. Members still using the default password will have to change it during their first login to the Eurex system. Existing users who use the @X-ceed Trading GUI or the @X-tract Clearing GUI for the first time after the Eurex Release 10.0 has been introduced and who still have the default password will be prompted to change the default password to a personal one. For this purpose the Change Password window will automatically be displayed during the first login. The new password selected must have a length of eight characters and cannot contain spaces. It will not be possible to reuse the default password. 3. Introduction of the Private Member Messages Broadcast Stream With the introduction of Eurex Release 10.0, a new private broadcast stream for Private Member Messages (stream G ) will be made available. In order to receive the new broadcast stream, please add the subscription to the eurexsublist.dat -file. For further information concerning the subscription of broadcast streams, please refer to the documents Eurex 10.0 Front-End Installation Guide and Eurex 10.0 Front-End Operations Guide. 4. Product Assignment requirements Together with the introduction of Eurex Release 10.0, Clearing Members will be required to assign product groups or individual products to their associated Non-Clearing Members. In addition, Clearing Members must adapt the maximum order quantities of new products to ensure that such products are made available to their associated Non-Clearing Members for trading. Detailed information concerning the requirements with respect to the assignment of product groups or individual products together with planning considerations and guiding instructions for the forthcoming Eurex Release 10.0 simulation can be found in the Eurex Release 10.0 Member Simulation Guide which is available for download on the EEX website under the path: www.eex.com > Downloads > Software & Installation > Eurex > Documentation As previously announced Eurex Release 10.0 will not be backward compatible for the enhancements related to the following features: Alphanumeric Order and Trade IDs Non-persistent Quotes OTC Flexible Options For this reason early participation in the Eurex Release 10.0 simulation is strongly recommended. 5. Web Access Software Distribution via Java Web Start for EEX Derivatives Market All Front End software components for Web Access customers are distributed by Web Start servers hosted at Deutsche Börse Systems AG. The software distribution and installation process will be executed automatically. By starting the available applications the download process will be initiated. The EEX Derivatives Market simulation software (based on Eurex Release 10.0) will be available for automatic download from September 17, 2007 onwards. With the simulation start on September 17, 2007, Web Access members will be able to connect to the simulation back end. Important: It is crucial to install Java jre1.6.0_01 on the Web Access client and clear both the Java and browser cache before starting Simulation on September 17, 2007. Furthermore do not delete Java jre1.5.0_09 as it is still required for Production. For details regarding the Web Access installation, please refer to "Web Access for the EEX Derivatives Market, Client Installation Guide" as of August 2007.
