Vorgang wiederholt. 1.2 ABMESSUNGEN Siehe Abbildung auf der letzten Seite. 2

Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense., Recycling Note: After its use, this product has to be processed as electronic scrap and disposed of according to the prevailing waste disposal regulations of your community / district / country / state. 1. Description 1.1 OVER-VOLTAGE PROTECTION In case of a fault in the power supply, e.g. failure of the voltage regulation, the output voltage will rise up to approx. 67V. In this condition an independent monitoring will shut-down the output. This protection is resetted by disconnecting the power supply from AC mains. After a delay of approx. 1 minute the reset is finished and the power supply can start again. The delay time depends on former AC supply voltage. If the fault is not eliminated the shut-down will start again. 1.2 DIMENSIONS See figure on the last page. 6
2. Installation 2.1 INSTALLATION OF THE DEVICE This unit is a build-in power supply for use in panel-board installations or other building-in applications. This mechanical enclosure shall be provided to fulfill the requirements for shock-hazard protection and fire protection. Installation position The installation position has to be according to figure 1. Attachment To fix the unit onto the rail, you have to put it a bit angular on the top of the rail and push it down until the pusher on the backside snaps in. Signal / Operating element see chapter Technical data. j: Operation status indicator, green LED for normal mode. k: Potentiometer, for setting up the output voltage. Conductor cross-sections see chapter Technical data. Connection The connection can be made with or without screw driver (3mm width), as shown in figure 2. l - n: make contacts. o - q: loose contacts. Fig. 1: RPS60/48V EEC installation 2.2 ATTACHING THE FERRITE Compliance with EMC regulations in conjunction with the MICE-PoE media module MM22-T1T1T1T1 requires attaching the ferrite (included in scope of delivery) at the 48V output cord (see figure 3). Insert both 48V output cords into the ferrite. The cords should go twice through ferrite. Close the ferrite. The ferrite should be placed close to the 48V output (max. distance 50 cm) You can open the ferrite with the safety key included in the scope of delivery. 3.
