A special experiences awaits you at Salastrains, 2,038 metres above sea level, in the Hospitality area. Here you ll find a carefully-chosen range of furniture, handmade from locallysourced wood, with its own special flair, an incomparable view and gastronomy of the highest quality. Local suppliers are involved in all sectors. Tradition, regionality and identity are not only the fundamental principles which define the inner-architectural concept, they underlie the whole culinary programme of The World Ski Championships.

10 HOSPITALITY In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Spitzenkoch Reto Mathis und den lokalen Lieferanten haben wir Rezepte aus längst vergangenen Tagen aus dem Keller geholt und diese neu interpretiert. Neben wenigen internationalen Speisen ist unser Foodkonzept an die Engadiner Küche angelehnt und zum Teil modernisiert worden. Mit viel Herzblut und Engagement setzt die Wassermann & Company AG mit Reto Mathis alles daran, die FIS Alpine Ski WM einzigartig zu gestalten. In collaboration with Reto Mathis and local suppliers we have re-discovered some long-forgotten recipes and re-interpreted them. Apart from a few international dishes our food concept takes its lead from the kitchen of the Engadine, partially modernized. With passion and commitment Wasserman & Company with Reto Mathis will be making a massive effort to create FIS Alpine World Ski Championships which are in a class of their own.
