At its 10 th session (Krakow, 21 to 23 November 2018), the RID Committee of Experts' standing working group agreed to hold a discussion at the working group on tank and vehicle technology on the results of the risk assessment on extra-large tank-containers. The standing working group also decided that the working group on tank and vehicle technology should discuss an analysis of the problem in connection with footnote 1 of RID and a proposal to resolve the future arrangements for the approval procedure of RID tank-wagons (see report OTIF/RID/CE/GT/2018-B, paragraphs 27 to 35). 2. We therefore invite you to the 17 th session of the RID Committee of Experts working group on tank and vehicle technology, which will be held in (Germany) from 14 to 16 October Time of the meeting 3. The meeting will start at on 14 October 2019 and will end at on 16 October Venue 4.
