3 1 Overview This manual describes, how you can order fast and easily with the B2B-trading platforms of the HOGALOG AG with help of the barcode scanner. Next to this manual a short video film describes the necessary steps. Why order with scanner? The B2B-trading platform of HOGALOG AG allows you to enter barcodes to your basket and to order products. Therefore we integrated a barcode system, which saves the user a lot of time. Next to the low time involvement the system fascinates with it s easy handling. Barcode scanning Next to the general EAN-barcodes all goods of the trading platforms have an individual barcode, which is only used on HOGALOG platforms. If you order frequently similar products, you should use the barcode scanner. Especially in storerooms the order will be much easier if you can read in the barcodes directly at needed products instead of searching for them on our trading platform. 4 2 Installation Scanner We recommend you for scanning the scanner Opticon OPN-2001, which costs around 150 CHF. Feel free to contact us if you need help with your acquisition of the scanner. Barcode scanner EAN code bar on a product package This scanner can read both types of barcodes internal barcodes of HOGALOG B2Btrading platforms as well as standardised EAN-Codes on packages. Driver installation If you have acquired an Opticon-Scanner you have to install the required driver at first before you can use the scanner. You can directly download the driver from the homepage of your trading platform. 5 The driver is a self-extracting EXE-data, which is called HOGASCAN_ opticon_driver.exe. After downloading you can start the data without hesitating. Go through the installation, how it s show in the screenshots below. Click Click Wait Click Now connect the cable of the scanner with your computer. Your computer should now recognise the new hardware automatically. Your scanner is now installed. Now you have to install and setup the software Manual guide for scanner Opticon Seite 5 von 16

6 Software installation and setup Download the software now like you did before with the driver. The data HOGASCAN_opticon_software.exe includes the scanner program and can install this automatically. After downloading you can start this data without hesitating. Confirm the installation like shown in the following. The program will be installed, an icon on your desktop as well as in your top menu will be created and after this the application starts. Click Open now the program to set it up. You can see the program called Keyscan in the task bar in the lower desktop edge. We recommend you various settings to make the usage of the scanner easier for you. Please follow the screenshots. Open the program Click Configuration. 7 Choose KB-Wedge. Choose Transfer. Define your key combination to read in the scanner data. HOGALOG recommends STRG+F5 as well as STRG+F6 for deleting data. Choose only Barcode. Leave COM3. Only if your scanner couldn t be found change this value. Now the scanner and the appropriate software is installed and ready to use 1. Execution after restart Every time if you want to use the scanner you have to start the software before this you can do easily by clicking on the symbol HOGASCAN on your desktop or in your top menu. As an alternative you can also copy this icon into the top menu auto start then the program will be started automatically when you start your computer. 1 If the scanner isn t recognised by the system, please check the COM-Port and set it up like shown above. 8 3 Order Login On the homepage of your trading platform 2, fill in your user data and password into the login area and click on Login. Fill in your user data and password here. Use the function Language and Direct to, if you want to change the language while logged in or if you want to use a special function directly after login. Connect scanner After login and after you ve already recorded barcodes with your scanner, you can copy those codes from your scanner to your computer. For this you need to connect your scanner with the computer. (Please keep attention that you have to install the software and driver for the scanner before. Check chapter 2, Installation.) Add barcodes to basket The read in occured with the barcode-box in your basket. This you can find in your mainmenu Orders under Basket or directly with the symbol for the basket on the left upper desktop edge. 9 Here you can open the barcode box. With CTRL+F5 you can read in the data from your scanner. With this button you can add products to your basket. Connect scanner via USB-port to your computer and click on barcode. The keyboard shortcut CTRL+F5 starts reading in the articles, that are already recorded by the scanner, into the order platform. Now you have to click the Button Into the basket and all available products in the database will be shown in your order list. Next to the provided EAN-Code of an product, every product has an internal barcode. This makes sure that also products without EAN-Code can be recorded by the scanner. Also the ordersize can be recorded by our barcode scanner with the so called amount list which can be found under menu item administrate order lists. The barcodes of frequently used product you can print out on lists or on labels to enable a comfortably and fast order process. Details for creation of an print out you can find in the general manual guide for HOGALOG AG trading platforms. Define order details Now you can see every scanned product in your basket. With help of the arrows in table header you can order the products. Settings for the ordersize can be modified and special Manual guide for scanner Opticon Seite 9 von 16

10 wishes can be added. You can mark false entries and delete them with the button Delete selection. Check whether the minimum order value is reached or whether a surcharge for small orders will be imposed If needed change the delivery date here Sort the entries with these arrows Set amount and weight. If needed complete this product with a comment Send all orders. Save your changes. Delete false entries. When all settings are correct you can check the delivery terms and conditions. Please note: If the minimum order size isn t realized there will be charged a surcharge! As an alternative you can add some more products of this supplier. Control the proposed delivery date! The delivery date can be changed by using Choose date! In the date chooser are only the regular delivery dates of the supplier in your region listed. Choose a date by clicking on it. If there should be a problem with the delivery date due to operational reasons feel free to contact the correspondend supplier and he will be glad to help you. 11 Click on the appropriate date. With the tick at mark order separate you can mark specific orders for internal purpose. On that way it is for example possible to mark every external charged order. As long as you do not want to add additional products, the button Order can be clicked. After confirming the order once more, the order will be released. You will get an confirmation via . If you want to leave the trading platfrom after your order don t forget to log off! Die KeyscanH.exe Software muss gestartet sein. Als Icon oder offen. Artikelnummern Scannen. Sie müssen jetzt in der Anwendung am richtigen Ort sein für die Datenübermittlung Mit den unter KB-Wedge Optionen eingestellten Tasten (zb. ALT+F11) können Sie jetzt die Datenübermittlung vom Scanner in den HOGA-SHOP vornehmen. Sind die Daten richtig übertragen mit der 2-ten Tastenkombination alle Daten auf dem Scanner löschen. 13 KeyScan Datenübermittlungssoftware zu Opticon OPN2001 Barcodescanner Version HOGALOG AG Der Opticon OPN 2001 Scanner Scanner Fenster Scan Taste Lösch Taste Status LED Stecker für die Datenübertragung Barcode scannen Zum scannen von Barcodes den OPN2001 mit einem leichten Winkel über den Strichcode halten und die Scan Taste drücken. Mit einem Ton und dem Wechsel der grün blinkenden LED zu kurzen Dauerleuchten wird eine gute Scannung bestätigt. Gescannte Barcodes löschen Den aus dem Speicher des OPN 2001 zu löschenden Barcode mit Hilfe der Lösch Taste scannen. Ein Ton und der Wechsel der orange blinkenden LED zu orangem Dauerleuchten bestätigt die Löschung. Dies kann solange gemacht werden, bis der letzte identische Barcode aus dem Scanner gelöscht ist und dies durch einen längeren Doppel-Ton angezeigt wird. Alle gescannten Barcodes löschen Ohne einen Barcode zu scannen die Lösch Taste für ca. 6 sek. gedrückt halten bis die Löschung aller Barcodes durch einen langen Ton bestätigt wird. Ton Ein/Aus Zum Ein- bezw. Ausschalten des Scannertones die Scan Taste für 10 sek. drücken (LED mit gelbem Dauerleuchten Ton aus, LED mit gelbem Dauerleuchten und Doppel-Ton Ton ein), Warnung mangelnde Batterieladung Dies wird durch eine rot blinkende LED während des Scanvorganges angezeigt. Batterieladung Der Li-Ion Akku des OPN 2001 wird über das USB Kabel geladen. Dazu muss das Kabel an einem mit Strom versorgten USB Anschluss eingesteckt sein. Der Ladevorgang wird automatisch vom OPN 2001 gesteuert. Eine volle Akku Ladung benötigt ca 2.5 Stunden. Während des Ladevorganges leuchtet die Anzeige LED rot, bei vollem Akku wechserlt die Farbe auf grün. Datenübertragung Factory Reset Durch gleichzeitiges drüchen der Scan- & der Löschtaste während mindestends10 sec. wird der Scanner in den Factory-Default Status gesetzt und alle Daten gelöscht!! Wenn der Strahl einen Barcode trifft wird dieser gelesen und im Scanner gespeichert. Grün - konstant Ein Barcode wurde korrekt gelesen und im Scanner gespeichert. Rot konstant während des Scanvorganges Der Barcode wurde gelesen, aber der Speicher des Scanners ist voll. KEINE Datenspeicherung möglich, bitte umgehend Daten übertragen! Rot konstant während des Löschvorganges Der Barcode wurde gelesen. Dieser Barcode ist im Speicher nicht vorhanden und kann deshalb nicht gelöscht werden. Orange blinkend Die Löschtaste ist gedrückt. Wenn der Strahl einen Barcode trifft wird dieser gelesen und im Scanner gelöscht! Orange - konstant Die Löschtaste wurde für mehr als 6 sec. gedrückt. Alle gespeicherten Daten werden jetzt gelöscht. OPN LCD Anzeigen mit angeschlossenem USB Kabel (Ladevorgang) Rot konstant während des Ladevorganges Der Akku wird geladen Grün konstant während des Ladevorganges Der Akku ist vollständig geladen Rot / Grün blinkend Der Akku ist möglicherweise defekt. Bitte retournieren Sie den OPN2001 an ihren Lieferanten. Datenübermittlung Zur Übertragung der Scannerdaten an den PC wird die B&M Keyscan Software oder eine eigene Anwendung benötigt. Von Opticon steht eine Testsoftware zur Verfügung. Für den Datendownload wird das mitgelieferte Kabel am PC und am Scanner angeschlossen. Der Download wird von der entsprechenden Software gestartet. 15 KeyScan Datenübermittlungssoftware zu Opticon OPN2001 Barcodescanner Version HOGALOG AG Der Motorola (Symbol) CS1504 Scanner Scan Taste Lösch Taste Status LED Scanner Fenster Batterie Abdeckung (Rückseite) Stecker für die Datenübertragung Barcode scannen Zum scannen von Barcodes den CS1504 in ca. 5 cm Entfernung vom Barcode mit einem leichten Winkel über den Strichcode halten und die Scan Taste drücken. Mit einem Ton und dem Wechsel der grün blinkenden LED zu kurzen Dauerleuchten wird die gute Scannung bestätigt. Gescannte Barcodes löschen Den aus dem Speicher des CS1504 zu löschenden Barcode mit Hilfe der Lösch Taste scannen. Ein Ton und der Wechsel der Gelb blinkenden LED zu gelbem Dauerleuchten bestätigt die Löschung. Dies kann solange gemacht werden, bis der letzte identische Barcode aus dem Scanner gelöscht ist und dies durch einen längeren Doppel-Ton angezeigt wird. Der Scanner liest bezw. löscht keine Barcodes Gespeicherte Daten werden nicht an den PC übermittelt Batterien sind leer Harware Fehler Der Barcode kann defekt sein Zu weit oder zu nah beim Barcode Sie versuchen mit einem ungültigen Winkel Barcodes zu lesen Sie lesen einen nicht unterstützten oder ausgeschaltenen Barcodetype zu scannen Der Scanner ist am PC angeschlossen und eine Datenübermittlung findet statt Speicher des CS1504 ist voll Das Kommunikationskabel ist nicht richtig angeschlossen Die Übertragungssoftware ist nicht geladen oder defekt Neue Batterien einsetzen Beim Lieferanten nachfragen Versuchen Sie einen anderen Barcode Versuchen Sie eine andere Lesedistanz Wechseln Sie den Lesewinkel Versuchen Sie einen anderen Barcode. Stellen Sie sicher das der gewünschte Barcode Type Enabled ist In diesem Falle können Sie nicht scannen, warten Sie bis die Übermittlung abgeschlossen ist. Entfernen Sie das Kabel und versuchen Sie es erneut. Dies wird durch ein rotes LED und mehreren langen Tönen angezeigt. Entladen Sie die Daten oder Löschen Sie die Scans im Scanner Überprüfen Sie die Anschlüsse und die Verbindung Starten Sie das Übertragungsprogramm neu und versuchen sie es noch einmal. LED blinkt rot LED blinkt rot, grün und gelb Der PC Com-Port ist nnicht richtig konfiguriert Batterie mit schwacher Leistung Hardware Fehler Überprüfen sie die Baudrate (9600) und die Verwendung des richtigen Com-Portes. Fragen sie ihren Spezialisten Batterien ersetzen Fragen Sie ihren Lieferanten Datenübermittlung Zur Übertragung der Scannerdaten an den PC wird die B&M Keyscan Software oder eine eigene Anwendung benötigt. Zum Original-Scanner wird KEINE Software mitgeliefert. Für Anwendungsentwickler steht ein Developerkit von Motorola (Symbol) zur Verfügung.
