She would like to visit at least one historical town, and she also wants to visit some vineyards and do some wine-tasting. She has also expressed interest in doing a day s boat trip on a river. Where should she go? She has asked you to come up with some ideas for her trip. Put together a rough itinerary in English (dates aren t necessary!). Include brief descriptions of the places you mention. Please make sure that you put together this itinerary in an order that makes sense please don t send her to a historical town at the opposite end of the country to where she ll be doing her winetasting! Please write approximately words. Question 2. Write a few sentences (in English) in answer to the following questions: [5 marks] To what countries do most German tourists go when they go on holiday abroad? When in Germany, what modes of transport are most commonly used by tourists? What types of accommodation are available in Germany, and is there a shortage of any particular type of accommodation?

5 Question 6. [12 marks] Your company is thinking of booking a conference with the Alpen Hotel described in Question 4. You were sent to the hotel to meet with the manager, and have a look around. They put together a programme for your visit (see below). It is now the next day and you re reporting back to your boss (Herr Braun) about your visit to the hotel. Write a paragraph in German, depicting what you would say to Herr Braun about your visit. Please use the Perfect (Spoken Past) tense in your report!
