Applicabilty: OA400, Oiiuond Aircraft Industries GmbH, Austria SIN affected: ,04.026,04.041, D4.045, , , D4.064, , , Subject: Revision of the Aeroplane Flight Manual and inspection of the FADEC wire haress 3. Reason: Oue to incorrect wire hamess installation a short circuit with the wie hamess can occur under certain F AOEC operating conditions. This short circuit results in an in-flight engine shut down. The curent Aeroplane Flight Manual Emergency Procedures do not conta measures to reset the F ADEC and the short circuit, once established. 4. Action: a) A temporar revision has to be inserted into the Aeroplane Flight Manual Ooc ) in accordance with Oiamond Aircraft Industres GmbH Mandatory Service Bulleti No. MSB04-029, 1.8 a) available under htto:// ). b) An inspection of the F ADEC wire hamess in the engine comparent has to be conducted in accordance with Oiamond Aircraft Industries GmbH Mandatory Service Bulletin No. MSB04-029, 1.8 b). 5. Compliance: a) Action a) prior to next flght. b) Action b) within next 50 flight hours but not later than March 31, Accomplishment: The required actions have to be accomplished either by the manufactuer, or a licensed/qualified personlorganisation, depending on national regulations. Accomplishment of the AD has to be confied in the aircraft log according to national regulations. 7. Effective Date: AD A becomes effective upon receipt. Betreff: OA400, Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH DAl), Österreich betroffene SIN: , D4.026, , , , D4.056, D , D4.066, , D Gegenstarid:' Revision des Flughandbuchs und Kontrolle des FAOEC-Kabelbaums im Motorraum. 3. Anlass: Aufgrund einer fehlerhaften Kabelbauminstallation kann unter bestimmten FADEC- Betriebsbedingungen ein Kurzschluss im Kabelbaum entstehen. Dieser Kurzschluss führt zu einem Triebwerksstillstand 1m Flug. Die Notverfahren im Flughandbuch sehen derzeit keine Maßnahmen vor um einen entstandenen Kurzschluss zu beenden und die FAOEC zurückzusetzen. 4. Maßnahmen: a) Eine temporäre Revision zum Flughandbuch muss in das Flughandbuch Ooe ) in Übereinstimmung mit dem Oiamond Aircraft Industries GmbH Mandatory Service Bulletin No. MSBD4-029, Punkt 1.8a), eingearbeitet werden. unter htto:llwww.austrocontrol.at/austro/lta.html zu beziehen) b) Eine Kontrolle des FAOEC-Kabelbaums im Motorraum ist in Übereinstimmung mit dem Oiamond Aireraft Industries GmbH Mandatory Servce Bulletin No. MSB04-029, Punkt 1.8b) durehzuführen. 5. Termine: a) Maßnahme a) vor dem nächsten flug. b) Maßnahme b) innerhalb der nächsten 50 Flugstunden, aber spätestens bis zum 31. März Durehführung: Die Maßnahmen sind vom HersteLler oder von berechtigten PersonenjOrganisaticneri in Übereinstimmung mit den jeweiligen nationalen luftfahrtbehördlichen Vorsehriften durchzuführen und entsprechend zu dokumentieren. 7. Oatum des Inkraftretens: Sofort nach Erhalt der LTA A EASA-GenehmiQunQ: Aufgrund der Oringlichkeit wurde diese LTA in Übereinstimmung mit dem Artikell0, Absatz 1, der Verordnung EG) Nr. 1592/2002 der Europäischen Union von Austro Control GmbH genehmigt.
