1 PRESSEINFORMATION REA serialisiert Spritzgussteile Mühltal, 14. September 2016 Der Bedarf an teileindividueller Kennzeichnung zur Rückverfolgbarkeit von Spritzgussteilen steigt enorm. Die besondere Herausforderung besteht in der serialisierten Kennzeichnung von dreidimensionalen Bauteilen. Spätestens jetzt kommen die immer noch weit verbreiteten statischen Methoden mittels Stempel und Schablonen an ihre Grenzen. REA bietet hierfür ein neues Laserverfahren in Kombination mit hochwertigen lasersensitiven Additiven von Merck. Bei diesem Verfahren wird dem Kunststoffgranulat ein Additiv beigemischt, welches sich im Rahmen des Kunststoff Spritzgussverfahrens homogen im geschmolzenen Kunststoff verteilt. Durch die Kennzeichnung mit dem REA JET FL Faserlaser System entsteht auf der Produktoberfläche ein Farbumschlag, bzw. eine hervorragend kantenscharfe und sehr kontrastreiche Kennzeichnung mit Text, Grafiken und Codes. Die Kunststoffprodukte können per REA Laser dauerhaft mit Data Matrix Codes teileindividuell serialisiert werden. Als Unikate sind sie sowohl von überall aus in der Welt, als auch lokal bereits innerhalb der Produktionsprozesse rückverfolgbar und identifizierbar. Automatisiert lesbare Codes bilden die Basis für Prozessoptimierung in den Bereichen Produktion und Logistik. Rückrufaktionen können gezielt erfolgen und bleiben überschaubar, weiterhin dient die individuelle Kennzeichnung mit variablen Daten dem Plagiatschutz. Ein weiterer großer Vorteil dieses Verfahrens ist die Flexibilität des REA Lasers, der in Vertiefungen und für herkömmliche Kennzeichnungsmethoden unzugängliche Bereiche kennzeichnen kann. REA demonstriert auf der Fachmesse K am firmeneigenen Messestand die Kennzeichnung von Komponenten per Laser im Direct Part Marking Verfahren, wie es in vielen Branchen immer stärker nachgefragt wird. Zur Tintenbeschriftung glatter, nicht saugender Oberflächen hat das Unternehmen den Thermo Inkjet Codierer REA JET HR im Programm. Er kennzeichnet Kunststoffe berührungsfrei, haftfest und hochauflösend. Dank bewährter Kartuschentechnologie von HP ist er wartungsfrei, sparsam im Tintenverbrauch und auch nach längerem Stillstand sofort startklar. Mit einer Schreibgeschwindigkeit von bis zu 762 m/min gilt er als schnellster

2 Drucker seiner Klasse. Der REA JET HR benötigt keine lösemittelhaltigen Tinten und Verdünner, er ist daher auch für sensible Bereiche geeignet. Er stellt damit eine saubere, umweltfreundliche und kostengünstige Alternative zu vielen Inkjet Kleinschriftdruckern (CIJ) dar. Die Sparte REA VERIFIER hat sich auf die qualitative Analyse maschinenlesbarer Codes mittels optischer Messmethoden spezialisiert. Mit dem REA VERIFIER VeriCube System wird am Messestand die Qualitätsprüfung von Barcodes (1D) und Data Matrix Codes (2D) auf dreidimensionalen Produkten präsentiert. September 2016 The demand for individualized codings and markings to track injection moulded components increases enormously. Serialized markings of three-dimensional components turned out to be one of the greatest challenges. This is where static methods such as stamps and stencils finally reach their limits. Especially for that, REA provides a new laser method combined with premium laser sensitive additives from Merck. Within this procedure, the resin is mixed with an additive, which spreads homogenously across the melted plastic during the injection moulding process. By marking the component with the REA JET FL Fibre Laser System, a colour changeover arises on the product surface. Markings have a brilliant precision and texts, graphics as well as codes turn out with a high contrast. With the REA laser, plastic products can be permanently individualized with Data Matrix Codes. While being unique, components can be tracked and identified globally from everywhere as well as locally within the production processes. Automatized readable codes provide the basis for process optimization within both areas production and logistics. Recalls can be conducted specifically and remain manageable. Moreover, the individual marking with variable data serves as counterfeit protection. Another great advantage is the flexibility of the REA laser. The system can even mark into pits as well as in areas which are inaccessible for conventional coding and marking methods. At the REA booth during the trade fair K, the company demonstrates within the Direct Part Marking process how components are marked by laser. The demand for Direct Part Marking is strongly growing within many industries. For marking smooth and non-absorbent surfaces, the company provides the Thermal Inkjet Printer REA JET HR, which prints contact-free, with excellent adhesion and in high-resolution on plastics. Thanks to the proven HP cartridge technology, the system is maintenance-free, has a low ink consumption and can be started immediately even after a longer system shutdown.
