2 TRADIČNÉ ĽUDOVÉ UMELECKÉ REMESLÁ Tradičné umelecké remeslá 2018 medzinárodné stretnutie ľudových remeselníkov. Už desiatykrát sa uskutoční na Kúpeľnom ostrove v Piešťanoch, v dňoch mája Návštevníkom a obyvateľom mesta sa predstaví 170 ľudových výrobcov zo Slovenska, Čiech, Maďarska, Poľska, Srbska. V sobotu predpoludním vystúpia v Harmony folklórne a spevácke súbory, pripravené sú aj iné lákadlá - pohybové divadlo Ľudia z Hliny, Roztancovaný Kolonádový most, tvorivé dielne, v nedeľu Detský jarmok ľudových remesiel, bábkové divadlo, drevený kolotoč a Braňo Jobus prečíta deťom svoje rozprávky. Počas troch dní sa predstavia keramikári, hrnčiari, kováči, drevorezbári, šperkári, košikári, korytári, čipkárky, mydlári, výrobcovia kraslíc, šúpolienok, kožených výrobkov, krojov, dekorácií a mnohí ďalší. Podujatie organizuje občianske združenie Tradičné ľudové umelecké remeslá spoločne so Slovenskými liečebnými kúpeľmi Piešťany. TRADITIONAL FOLK ARTS AND CRAFTS Traditional Folk Arts and Crafts 2018 an international gathering of folk craftspeople. TRADITIONELLES VOLKSKUNSTHAND- WERK Das traditionelle Volkskunsthandwerk 2018 ein internationales Treffen der Volkskunst-Handwerker. Bereits das zehntes Mal findet das Treffen auf der Kurinsel in Piešťany statt heuer von Mai Den Besuchern und Einwohnern der Stadt stellen sich 170 Hersteller dieser Volkskunst aus der Slowakei, Tschechien, Ungarn, Polen und Serbien vor. Am Samstag treten im Pavillon

3 Harmony Volks- und Gesangsgruppen auf, vorbereitet sind auch andere Verlockungen z. B. das Bewegungstheater Menschen aus Erde, Roztancovaný Kolonádový most und Workshops, am Sonntag ein Puppentheater für Kinder und ein Holz-Ringelspiel. Als Neuigkeit ist eine Kindermesse geplant. Im Laufe der drei Tage stellen sich unter anderem Keramiker, Töpfer, Schmiede, Schmuck- und Korbmacher, Holzschnitzer, sowie Hersteller von Ostereiern, traditioneller Schalen-Puppen ( Šúpolienky ), Ledererzeugnissen, Häkelspitzen, Seifen und Trachten, sowie Dekorationen und viele andere vor. Diese Veranstaltung organisiert der Gemeindeverband Traditionelles Volkskunsthandwerk gemeinsam mit SLK, a.s. Piešťany. 5 , ZÁZRAČNÝ ORIEŠOK Kniha v rozhlase, rozhlas v knihe The 10th anniversary of Magic Nut is held under the patronage of the Slovak Ministry of Culture, of the Embassador of Czech Republic in Slovakia Mrs. Lívia Klausová and the Chairman /TTSK/ Mr. Jozef Viskupič. Mestská knižnica mesta Piešťany, Mesto Piešťany a Rozhlas a televízia Slovenska pripravili jubilejný desiaty ročník medzinárodného festivalu rozhlasových rozprávok ZÁZRAČNÝ ORIEŠOK, Kniha v rozhlase rozhlas v knihe, ktorý sa bude konať na rôznych miestach Piešťan a okolia. Tento festival je výnimočný tým, že prezentuje rozprávky vo všetkých podobách: knižnej, divadelnej, televíznej, filmovej, ale najmä rozhlasovej. Prvú časť festivalu tvorí súťaž rozhlasových rozprávok, druhá časť sa skladá z množstva sprievodných podujatí, na ktorých sa predstavia tí najprestížnejší tvorcovia pre deti zo Slovenska a zahraničia. X. Zázračný oriešok sa koná pod záštitou ministerstva kultúry SR, veľvyslankyne ČR na Slovensku p. Livie Klausovej a predsedu TTSK p. Jozefa Viskupiča. MAGIC NUT The book in the Radio The Radio in the Book The Town Library of the town Piešťany, the Town Piešťany and the Slovak Radio and the Slovak Television have prepared the 10th anniversary of the international festival of radio fairy-tales MAGIC NUT, with the subordinate title The book in the Radio-The Radio in the Book, it will be held in various parts of the town Piešťany and around the town. The festival presents fairy-tales in all their forms and aspects: dramatic, televisual, literary, film adaptation, and mainly in radio form. The first part of festival is created by the competition of the radio fairy-tales, in the second part, there are lots of accompanying events, meetings with successful fairy-tales makers for children from Slovakia and from abroad. ZAUBERNUSS Buch im Radio-Radio im Buch Die Stadtbibliothek Piešťany, die Stadt Piešťany und der Slowakische Rundfunk und Television der Slowakei bereiteten 10.Jahr des Internationalfestivals der Märchenhörspiele ZAUBERNUSS mit dem Untertitel Kniha v rozhlase-rozhlas v knihe / Buch im Radio-Radio im Buch /vor. Das Festspiel wird an verschiedenen Plätzen in Piešťany und Umgebung stattgefunden. Dieses Festival ist durch die Märchenpräsentation einzigartig, die Märchen sind in allen Versionen präsentiert: dramatisch, literarisch, Fernsehversion, Film, aber besonders in Hörspiele. Der Erste Teil wird von den Märchenspiele vorbereitet. Der zweite Teil bringt viele Begleitveranstaltungen, hier werden die besten Produzenten für Kinder aus der Slowakei und aus dem Ausland präsentieren. 10.Jahr des Festivals ist unter der Schirmherrschaft des Ministerium für Kultur der SR, der Botschafterin der Tschechischen Republik in der Slowakei Frau Lívia Klausová und den Herrn Jozef Viskupič, der Vorsitzender /TTSK/.

6 OTVORENIE LETNEJ KÚPEĽNEJ SEZÓNY Najvýznamnejšia udalosť kultúrneho života Piešťan, ktorou sa už od roku 1992 oficiálne otvára letná sezóna v meste Piešťany. V roku 2018 pripadá tradičný termín, prvý júnový víkend, na dátum júna Počas týchto dní sa v kúpeľnom meste môžete tešiť na bohatý trojdňový kultúrny, spoločenský a športový program. Hlavnými organizátormi Otvorenia letnej kúpeľnej sezóny 2018 sú mesto Piešťany, Mestské kultúrne stredisko mesta Piešťany a Slovenské liečebné kúpele Piešťany. V piatok, v predvečer podujatia bude v KSC Fontána i v Hudobnom pavilóne v mestskom parku pripravený zaujímavý program vernisáž výstavy krojovaných bábik z celého Slovenska a vystúpenie folklórnych skupín. V sobotu 2. júna odštartuje oficiálne Otvorenie letnej kúpeľnej sezóny požehnaním prameňov v hudobnom pavilóne Harmony na Kúpeľnom ostrove. Po slávnostnom akte sa všetci zúčastnení zapoja do slávnostného sprievodu, ktorý sa presunie do Hudobného pavilónu v mestskom parku, kde sa uskutoční aj predstavenie účastníkov sprievodu a slávnostný otvárací ceremoniál. V sprievode nebudú chýbať predstavitelia mesta, významní predstavitelia kultúrneho, spoločenského a politického života, veľvyslanci rôznych krajín, či delegácie z partnerských miest, ale aj folklórne súbory, mažoretky, športovci či piešťanské školy. V popoludňajšom programe nebudú chýbať známe hudobné skupiny. Na svoje si prídu nielen návštevníci zrelšieho veku, ale i mladšie generácie vo večernom programe. Zaujímavý program vás poteší i v nedeľu a v čase Otvorenia letnej kúpeľnej sezóny sa uskutoční aj množstvo sprievodných podujatí, napr. na pešej zóne v centre mesta, na Lodenici, či v mestskom parku.

7 OPENING OF THE SUMMER SPA SEASON This is the most important cultural event in the life of the town of Piešťany, as the official commencement ceremony of the summer season in the town since In 2018 it is being held on the traditional first weekend of June, namely 1 3 June During this weekend, visitors will be able to enjoy a plethora of cultural, social and sports events. The main hosts of the Opening of the 2018 Summer Spa Season are the city of Piešťany, the Piešťany Municipal Cultural Center, and Health Spa Piešťany. On Friday, on the eve of the commencement ceremony, KSC Fontána and the music pavilion will be hosting an interesting array of events a unique exhibition of dolls dressed in traditional folk costumers from around Slovakia and performances of folk ensembles. On Saturday, June 2, the commencement ceremony will start with the blessing of the springs at the Harmony Music Pavilion on the Spa Island. Those taking part in the ceremony will then join a parade that will travel from the music pavilion to the town park for a performance by parade participants and a festive commencement of the summer season. The parade will include representatives of the town, cultural, social and political institutions, foreign ambassadors, delegations from partner cities, folk troupes, majorettes, sports people, and Piešťany schools. The afternoon show will include well-known groups, whereas the evening event was organized with both mature and younger audiences alike. Interesting events will continue on Sunday as well, not to forget the various shows and attractions held throughout the entire weekend all around town, for example at the pedestrian zone in the center of town, at Lodenica, and in the town park. ERÖFFNUNG DER SOMMER- BADESAISON Dies ist das außergewöhnlichste Ereignis des Kulturlebens in Piešťany, mit welcher bereits seit dem Jahr 1992 die Sommersaison in der Stadt Piešťany eröffnet wird. Im Jahr 2018 fällt dieser traditionelle Termin auf das erste Juni-Wochenende mit dem Datum Juni Im Laufe dieser Tage können Sie sich im Kurort auf ein reichhaltiges dreitägiges Kultur-, Gesellschafts- und Sportprogramm freuen. Die Hauptorganisation der Eröffnung der Sommer- Bade-Kur-Saison übernehmen die Stadt Piešťany, das örtliche Kulturzentrum der Stadt Piešťany sowie die Slowakischen Heil- und Kuranstalten Piešťany. Am Freitag, dem Vorabend der Veranstaltung, wird im KDC Fontána und auch im Musikpavillon im Stadtpark ein interessantes Programm vorbereitet eine Vernissage mit Ausstellungen der Trachtenpuppen aus der ganzen Slowakei und einer Ausstellung von Folklore-Gruppen. Am Samstag, dem 2. Juni 2018 startet die offizielle Eröffnung der Sommer-Kur-Saison mit der Segnung der Quellen im Pavillon Harmony auf der Kurinsel. Nach dem festlichen Akt beteiligen sich alle am feierlichen Umzug zum Musikpavillon im Stadtpark, wo auch die Vorstellung der Teilnehmer der Parade und die feierliche Eröffnungszeremonie stattfinden. Hier werden auch die Vertreter der Stadt, bedeutungsvolle Vertreter des kulturellen, gesellschaftlichen und politischen Lebens, Botschafter verschiedener Länder, und auch Delegationen der Partnerstädte, aber auch Folkloregruppen, sogenannte Mazoreten, Sportler und Schulen der Stadt Piešťany nicht fehlen. Im Nachmittagsprogramm finden sich auch bekannte Musikgruppen. Im Abendprogramm. kommen nicht nur Besucher der älteren, sondern auch die der jungen Generation auf ihre Kosten Das interessante Programm erfreut Sie auch am Sonntag. In der Zeit der Eröffnung der Sommer-Badesaison finden auch eine Vielzahl an Begleitveranstaltungen statt z.b. in der Fußgängerzone im Stadtzentrum, im Lodenici oder im Stadtpark.

8 63. MUSIC FESTIVAL PIEŠŤANY Music festival Piešťany, kontinuálne prebiehajúci už 63 rokov, privítal stovky vynikajúcich domácich i zahraničných umelcov a hudobných telies. Ich špičkové umenie mali možnosť vidieť a počuť státisíce návštevníkov, ktorí tieto sviatky umenia v našich najznámejších slovenských kúpeľoch v uplynulých rokoch navštívili. Najvýznamnejšie koncerty sa pravidelne konajú v reprezentačných priestoroch Domu umenia v Piešťanoch. 63. MUSIC FESTIVAL PIEŠŤANY Music Festival Piešťany continues with its 63nd annual edition. Over the years it has welcomed hundreds of outstanding local and foreign artists and ensembles. Their exceptional performances were seen by hundreds of thousands of visitors who found their way to this festival of performance arts in our renowned Slovak spa town in the past sixty years. The most prestigious performances are traditionally held at the remarkable Dom Umenia (House of the Arts) in Piešťany. 63. MUSIC FESTIVAL PIEŠŤANY Das Musikfestival Piešťany, das seit 63 Jahren kontinuierlich stattfindet, hat bereits hunderte außergewöhnliche einheimische, wie auch ausländische Künstler und musikalische Größen willkommen geheißen. Bereits hunderttausende Besucher der vergangen Jahre hatten die Möglichkeit diese Kunst auf höchstem Niveau in unserem bekanntesten slowakischem Kurort zu sehen und zu hören. Die bedeutsamsten Konzerte finden regelmäßig in den repräsentativen Räumlichkeiten des Hauses der Kunst in Piešťany statt. ORGAN MUSIC DAYS The Organ Music Days festival in Piešťany has been held annually since The concerts are hosted at temples all around Piešťany and at the House of the Arts (Dom umenia), one of few concert spaces in Slovakia that can boast a concertquality organ. The event is organized by the Bach Society in Slovakia in cooperation with the town of Piešťany and the House of the Arts. Throughout the seventeen years of its existence, the festival offered more than 80 concerts by renowned foreign and domestic performers. ORGELTAGE Das internationale Festival Organové dni ( Orgeltage ) in Piešťany läuft seit dem Jahr 1999 jährlich im August. Die Konzerte finden in den Kirchen der Stadt Piešťany und im dom umenia (Kunsthaus) statt, welches eines der wenigen Konzert- Räumlichkeiten in der Slowakei mit einer Konzertorgel bietet. Die Veranstaltung ist in Zusammenarbeit mit der Stadt Piešťany und dem Dom umenia wird von der slowakischen Bach-Gesellschaft organisiert. Während der 17-jährigen Geschichte des Festivals erklangen mehr als 80 Konzerte in Wiedergabe herausragender nationaler und internationaler Künstler. ORGANOVÉ DNI Medzinárodný festival Organové dni v Piešťanoch prebieha každoročne v auguste od roku Koncerty sa konajú v piešťanských chrámoch a v Dome umenia, ktorý je jedným z mála koncertných priestorov na Slovensku s koncertným organom. Podujatie v spolupráci s mestom Piešťany a Domom umenia organizuje Bachova spoločnosť na Slovensku. Počas sedemnásťročnej histórie festivalu zaznelo vyše 80 koncertov v podaní významných domácich aj zahraničných umelcov.

9 ZLATÉ STUHY Stretnutie historických vozidiel z celého sveta alebo Piešťanské zlaté stuhy sa v roku 2018 uskutočnia už po 26. raz. Tradičným termínom konania tohto zaujímavého podujatia sa stal druhý júnový víkend, ktorý v roku 2018 pripadá na dni júna. Počas troch dní Piešťanských zlatých stúh môžu návštevníci obdivovať automobily s rôznym rokom výroby vystavené v areáli Slovenských liečebných kúpeľov, a.s., kde nie sú výnimkou ani vozidlá vyrobené už pred rokom 1918, historické motocykle alebo tzv. stabiláky. Súčasťou podujatia je aj prehliadka krásy historických vozidiel a dobového oblečenia - Concours d Elegance pred hotelom Thermia Palace ***** na Kúpeľnom ostrove. Organizátori, ktorými sú Slovenské liečebné kúpele Piešťany, firma Horňák Ján, AMK VCC Piešťany, mesto Piešťany, Asociácia historických vozidiel SR, každoročne pripravujú pre návštevníkov i sprievodné podujatia ako napríklad autogramiádu významných motocyklových pretekárov či detské mestečko s programom pre najmenších. GOLDEN RIBBONS GOLDENE SCHLEIFEN Das Treffen der historischen Fahrzeuge aus aller Welt, auch Goldene Schleifen von Piešťany genannt (Piešťanské zlaté stuhy), findet im Jahr 2018 bereits zum 26. Mal statt. Der traditionelle Termin dieser alljährlichen interessanten Veranstaltung ist das zweite Juni- Wochenende, welches im Jahr 2018 auf die Tage Juni fällt. Während dieser vier Tage dauernden Veranstaltung können die Besucher Automobile verschiedener Baujahre, welche im Areal der Slovenské liecebné kúpele, a.s. ausgestellt sind, bewundern. Dort sind auch z.b. Fahrzeuge - hergestellt vor dem Jahr historische Motorräder oder sogenannte stabiláky keine Ausnahme. Bestandteil der Veranstaltung ist auch ein Schönheitswettbewerb historischer Fahrzeuge und der Kleidung aus damaliger Zeit Concours délegance vor dem Hotel Therima Palace ***** auf der Kurinsel. Die Organisatoren Slovenské liecebné kúpele, a.s., die Firma Hornak Ján, AMK VCC Piešťany, die Stadt Piešťany und die Assosiation historischer Fahrzeuge SR bereiten jährlich für die Besucher Begleitveranstaltungen wie z.b. eine Autogrammiade herausragender Motorradrennfahrer oder ein Kinderdorf mit einem Programm für unsere Kleinsten vor. The 2018 Piešťany Golden Ribbons will be the 26th time this historic vehicle event is being held. A LITTLE BIT BETTER STUDENTS OF HOTEL ACADE- MY OF ĽUDOVÍT WINTER The charitable event organized by the Hotel Academy of Ľudovít Winter in the cooperation with the town Piešťany, FreedomSquare. The visitors can choose from the rich offer of gastro-specialities and drinks. There is prepared an interesting culture program for all guests: performances of well-known artists, dance performances, folklore groups, music bands and accompanying events for children. The benefit from this event will be devoted to the Foundation The Drop of Hope for help to children with onkological and hematological diseases. BESSERE STUDENTEN DER HOTELAKADEMIE Die charitative Veranstalltung von der Ľudovít Winters Hotelakademie in der Zusammenarbeit mit der Stadt Piešťany organisiert, Platz Námestie Slobody. Für die Besucher sind viele Gastrospezialitäten und Getränke vorbereiten. Hier ist auch ein interessantes Programm zugerichtet: Künstlerauftritts, Tanzauftritts, Folkloreensemble, Musikgruppen und die Begleitveranstaltungen für Kinder. Der Erlös aus der Veranstaltung wird für die Nadation Der Tropfen der Hoffnung für Kinderhilfe mit onkologischen und hematologischen Krankheiten gewidmet. 11 SOCHA PIEŠŤANSKÝCH PARKOV Socha piešťanských parkov je najstaršia slovenská výstava sôch v prírode. Vznik podujatia sa spája s rokom 1967 a neskôr sa jeho organizácia na čas prerušila. V roku 2018 sa uskutoční 35. ročník s otvorením výstavy v piatok 22. júna. Organizátori z Mestského kultúrneho strediska mesta Piešťany očakávajú účasť umelcov zo všetkých krajov Slovenska v generačnom stretnutí autorov a ich tvorby. Výstava umeleckých diel na dva mesiace skrášli mestský park v centre mesta. DIE STATUE DES PARKS VON PIEŠŤANY Socha piešťanských parkov (Die Statue des Parks von Piešťany) ist eine der ältesten slowakischen Skulptur-Ausstellungen in der Natur. The first one was held in 1967, even if the event was discontinued for a number of years afterwards. In 2018, the town of Piešťany will be hosting the 35th annual Statues of Piešťany Parks event, with a commencement ceremony held on Friday, The organizers from the Municipal Cultural Center of Piešťany expect participation from artists from all around Slovakia, representing various generations and their sculptural creations. These remarkable artworks will be displayed in the town park in the center of town for two months. LODENICA Lodenica is the largest family-oriented festival in Slovakia, filled with quality country and folk music and spiced up with legendary Slovak and foreign performers. 13 SLOVAKMAN ročník podujatia SLOVAKMAN po roku napíše svoju ďalšiu kapitolu. Stále je to jediné podujatie svojho druhu na Slovensku. Medzinárodný pretek v dlhom triatlone, v klasických železných vzdialenostiach 3,8 km plávania, 180 km cyklistiky a maratónsky beh 42,2 km každoročne láka čoraz väčší počet jednotlivcov, ktorí sa po úspešnom dokončení môžu hrdiť titulom Železný muž. Okrem preteku jednotlivcov je pripravený aj pretek štafiet, ktorý je určený pre tých, ktorí si na celé dĺžky netrúfajú. Organizátorom podujatia je ŠPORTOVÝ KLUB DELFÍN Nitra. SLOVAKMAN The 16th annual SLOVAKMAN is here once again to add another chapter to its chronicles. In Slovakia, it is still the only event of its kind an international long-distance triathlon, at traditional ironman distances (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling, and 42.2 km marathon). Every year it attracts more and more individual participants aiming at achieving the glamorous title of Ironman. Apart from the individual competition, Slovakman also offers a team relay race for those who do not wish to participate in the complete competition. The event is organized by DELFÍN Nitra SPORTS CLUB. SLOVAKMAN Das 16. Jahr der Veranstaltung Slovakman schreibt nach einem Jahr ein weiteres Kapitel. Immer noch ist es die einzige Veranstaltung dieser Art in der Slowakischen Republik. Das internationale Rennen im langen Triathlon, in den klassischen eisernen Entfernungen von 3,8 km Schwimmen, 180 km Rennradfahren und ein Marathonlauf von 42,2 km locken jährlich immer wieder eine Anzahl an Einzelkämpfer, die sich nach erfolgreichem Bestehen einen Eisernen Mann nennen dürfen. Neben dem Einzelbewerb ist auch ein Staffellauf vorbereitet, welcher für jene bestimmt ist, die sich nicht die gesamte Strecke zutrauen. Organisator dieser Veranstaltung ist der Sportclub Delfin Nitra. DEŇ OZBROJENÝCH A ZÁCHRANNÝCH ZLOŽIEK S DEŤMI Po úspešnom 11. ročníku sa dňa uskutoční pod záštitou ministra obrany Slovenskej republiky a záštitou primátora mesta Piešťany podujatie Deň ozbrojených a záchranných zložiek s deťmi Organizátormi sú Vojenský historický ústav Bratislava a Mestská polícia mesta Piešťany. Súčasťou podujatia bývajú ukážky služobnej kynológie a služobnej hipológie, ukážky práce Zboru väzenskej a justičnej stráže MV SR či Hasičského a záchranného zboru Piešťany, ďalej ukážky leteckých modelárov z Piešťan alebo vystúpenie Vojenskej hudby Ozbrojených síl Slovenskej republiky a príslušníkov Čestnej stráže Ozbrojených síl Slovenskej republiky. Na spríjemnenie atmosféry vystupujú amatérske hudobné skupiny z Piešťan a okolia. V čase podujatia je expozícia Vojenského historického múzea Piešťany sprístupnená bezplatne. ARMED FORCES AND FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICES DAY WITH After the very successful 11th anniversary event last year, Piešťany is once again hosting the Armed Forces and Fire and Rescue Services Day with Children on 8 September 2018, sponsored by the Minister of Defense of the Slovak Republic and the mayor of the town of Piešťany. The event is organized by the Institute of Military History in Bratislava and the Municipal Police Department of Piešťany. The event showcases canine service units, mounted units, work of the Corps of Prison and Court Guard of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic, the fire and rescue brigade in Piešťany, airplane modeling skills of local model makers, performance by the Military Band of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, and drills of the Guard of Honor of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic. The atmosphere is further enhanced by performances of music groups from the Piešťany area. During the event, the exhibition of the Military History Museum in Piešťany is open to the public free of charge. TAG DER STREITKRÄFTE UND RETTUNGSDIENSTE MIT KINDERN Seit bereits 11 erfolgreicher Jahren ereignet sich am die Veranstaltung Tag der Streitkräfte und Rettungsdienste mit Kindern unter der Schirmherrschaft des Verteidigungsministers der Slowakischen Republik und des Bürgermeisters der Stadt Piešťany. Organisatoren sind das heeresgeschichtliche Amt Bratislava und die Stadtpolizei Piešťany. Teil der Veranstalung sind Vorführungen der dienstlichen Kinoligie und Hipologie, Vorführungen der Arbeit des Chores der Wachen der Justizanstalt MV SR oder des Feuerwehr- und Rettungschores Piešťany, weiters Vorführungen der Flugmodellbauer Piešťany sowie das Auftreten der Heeresmusikkapelle Ozbrojených síl der slowakischen Republik und Zugehörige der Freiwilligen Ehrenwache Ozbrojenych sil der slowakischen Republik. Für eine angenehme Atmosphere sorgen Amateurmusikgruppen aus Piešťany und Umgebung. In der Zeit der Veranstaltung ist der Eintritt in das Heeresgeschichtliche Museum Piešťany kostenlos.

14 MFF CINEMATIK PIEŠŤANY MFF Cinematik je stabilné a divácky najúspešnejšie filmové podujatie na Slovensku. Festival organizuje dve súťažné sekcie s medzinárodnými porotami, množstvo informatívnych sekcií, semináre, masterclassy a ďalší program. It is a member of the Eye on Films international network of festivals and distributors. The mission of IFF Cinematik is to bring an annual cultural event of high quality to its audience while focusing on presenting European and Slovak filmmaking. At the core of the festival lies a collection of significant and artistically valuable works of film art, accompanied by analytical introductions, seminars, and other events. The festival s long-term strategy is to concentrate on young audiences and help develop their critical thinking and cultural literacy. VICTORIA REGIA Victoria Regia je najväčšia floristická udalosť na Slovensku národná súťaž vo viazaní a aranžovaní kvetín s medzinárodnou účasťou. Počas jedného septembrového víkendu sa Kúpeľný ostrov premení na kvetinový raj. Každoročne sú majstrovstvá Slovenska v aranžovaní kvetov a tradičné kvetinové korzo obohatené o Festival neobyčajných kvetov. Victoria Regia sa stala i tradičným ukončením letnej kúpeľnej sezóny v Piešťanoch. Termín výstavy a súťaže v roku 2018 je od do a uskutoční sa v priestoroch KSC Fontána. Victoria Regia končí v sobotu slávnostným vyhodnotením súťaže v Hudobnom pavilóne v mestskom parku a hudobno-zábavným programom, ktorý už tradične pripravuje Mestské kultúrne stredisko mesta Piešťany.

Jährlich werden die slowakischen Meisterschaften im Arrangieren von Blumen und der traditionelle Blumenkorso bereichert um das Festival nicht alltäglicher Blumen. Victoria Regia ist zu einem traditionellen Abschluss der Sommer-Bade und Kursaison in Piešťany geworden. Der Termin der Ausstellung und des Wettbewerbs im Jahr 2018 ist von bis und findet in den Räumlichkeiten der KSC Fortuna statt. Victoria Regia endet am Samstag, dem mit einer feierlichen Siegerehrung des Wettbewerbs im Musikpavillon des Stadtparks begleitet von einem musikalisch-unterhaltsamen Programm, welches bereits traditionell vom städtischen Kulturzentrum der Stadt Piešťany vorbereitet wird. PIEŠŤANY RENDEZVOUS October November 2018 Lúčnica Slovak National Folklore Ballet and Dom Umenia (House of the Arts) in Piešťany are hosting the 20th annual festival of Czech and Slovak art PIEŠŤANY RENDEZVOUS in October and november The festival comprises several areas: drama, music, visual arts, and film. It attempts to approach visitors of all ages and has managed to grow a stable audience. The House of the Arts will host professional and amateur artists from Slovak, Moravian, and Czech theaters. Festival motto: A festival where you can find art, entertainment, and love... VICTORIA REGIA Victoria Regia is the largest florist event in Slovakia as a national completion in flower arranging with participants both from Slovakia and abroad. For one weekend, the Spa Island transforms into a flowery paradise. Every year, the Slovak championship in flower arranging and the traditional flower parade are accompanied by Festival of Unusual Flowers. Victoria Regia became the traditional conclusion to the summer spa season in Piešťany. The exhibition and completion will be held on September 17 23, 2018 at KSC Fontána. Victoria Regia will end on Saturday, 23 September 2018 with an awards ceremony and subsequent entertainment program at the Harmony Music Pavilion, as usual prepared by the Municipal Culture Center of Piešťany.
