3 1 Benutzerhinweise Die E/A-Baugruppe Typ SPC200-DIO dient bestimmungsgemäß als Ein-/Ausgangsbaugruppe für den Smart Positioning Controller SPC200. Die E/A-Baugruppe stellt 10 PNP-Eingänge und 8 PNP-Ausgänge zur Verfügung. Ausführliche Informationen zur E/A-Baugruppe sowie Beschaltungsbeispiele für die möglichen Betriebsarten finden Sie im Bediener-Handbuch P.BE-SPC Deutsch VORSICHT: Beachten Sie unbedingt die dort aufgeführten: Sicherheitstechnischen Hinweise den bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch der jeweiligen Baugruppen und Module. WARNUNG: Aktoren können ungewollt aktiviert und der SPC200 beschädigt werden, wenn Baugruppen bei eingeschalteter Spannungsversorgung hinzugefügt oder entfernt werden. Schalten Sie vor Installations- und Wartungsarbeiten folgende Energiequellen in folgender Reihenfolge ab: 1. Druckluftversorgung 2. Lastversorgung und Betriebsspannungsversorgung des SPC b 3

4 Deutsch 2 Aus- und Einbau von Baugruppen VORSICHT: Unsachgemäße Handhabung kann zur Beschädigung der Baugruppen führen. Berühren Sie keine Bauelemente. Beachten Sie die Handhabungsvorschriften für elektrostatisch gefährdete Bauelemente. Entladen Sie sich vor dem Ein- oder Ausbau von Baugruppen elektrostatisch, zum Schutz der Baugruppen vor Entladung statischer Elektrizität. Der erste Steckplatz (linker Steckplatz) ist für die Versorgungs- Baugruppe reserviert. Beim Betrieb am Feldbus sind max. 3 E/A-Baugruppen zulässig. Ohne Feldbus-Baugruppe können 4 E/A-Baugruppen in einen Baugruppenträger installiert werden. Die Identifikation aller eingesteckten Baugruppen erfolgt automatisch, beginnend mit der Versorgungs-Baugruppe von links nach rechts. Baugruppen ausbauen 1. Betriebsspannung und Druckluftversorgung abschalten. 2. Anschlußkabel auf der Baugruppenfront lösen und abziehen. 3. Beide Sicherungshebel durch Verschieben entriegeln (siehe folgendes Bild). 4. Baugruppe an der Frontplatte fassen und hinausziehen. 5. Ggf. freibleibende Steckplätze mit Blindplatten verschließen b

5 Baugruppen einbauen 1. Druckluftversorgung und Betriebsspannungsversorgung abschalten. 2. Ggf. Sicherungshebel entriegeln und Blindplatte entfernen. 3. Baugruppe an der Frontplatte fassen und in die Führungsschiene einschieben. Achten Sie darauf, daß Sie die Baugruppe beim Einschieben nicht verkanten und keine Bauteile auf der Leiterplatte beschädigt werden. 4. Achten Sie darauf, daß die Stecker der Messerleisten richtig aufeinander liegen. Schieben Sie die Baugruppe dann mit leichtem Druck vollständig ein. Daraufhin verriegeln die Sicherungshebel selbsttätig (siehe Bild). 11 1 User instructions The SPC200-DIO I/O module is designed as an input/output module for the SPC200 Smart Positioning Controller. The I/O module provides 10 PNP inputs and 8 PNP outputs. More detailed information about the I/O module and examples of circuits for the various modes of operation can be found in the User Manual P.BE-SPC CAUTION Pay strict attention to the following instructions shown therein: safety guidelines specifications for the use of each module and component. English WARNING Actuators can be accidentally activated and the SPC200 damaged, if modules are inserted or removed with the power switched on. Before installation or maintenance work switch off the following power sources in the following order: 1. Compressed air supply 2. The load supply and operating voltage supply of the SPC b 11

12 2 Fitting and removing the modules English CAUTION Modules can be damaged by incorrect handling. Do not touch any of the components. Follow the instructions for handling components which are affected by electrostatic charges. Discharge yourself electrostatically before inserting or removing modules in order to protect the components from discharges of static electricity. The first (left-hand) slot is reserved for the power supply module. Maximum 3 I/O modules are permitted to operate on the field bus. Without a field bus module, 4 I/O modules can be fitted into a rack. All installed modules are identified automatically from left to right, beginning with the power supply module. Removing the modules 1. Disconnect the voltage and compressed air supplies 2. Disconnect the cable on the front of the module and remove it. 3. Slide the two safety catches sideways to unlock them (see diagram below). 4. Take hold of module by the front plate and extract it. 5. Fill any remaining empty slots with blank panels b

13 Fitting the modules 1. Switch off the compressed air supply and operating voltage supply. 2. Unlock the safety catches if necessary and remove the blank panel. 3. Take hold of the front plate of the module and slide it into the guide rail. Be careful not to tilt the module when sliding it into the slot, and make sure that none of the components on the board are damaged. 4. Make sure that the pins on the connectors are correctly aligned. Then with a light pressure of the fingers push the module fully home. The safety catches will then lock automatically (see diagram).
