FP7 Projektbeispiele (1) (Innovative capture techniques) Dense membranes for efficient oxygen and hydrogen separation (DEMOYS) The objective of this project is, the development of thin mixed conducting membranes for O2 and H2 separation by using a new deposition technique Low Pressure Plasma Spraying Thin Film (LPPS-TF) in combination with nano-porous, highly catalytic layers. Start Date: 2010-05-01 Duration: 48 months Project Cost: 5.17 million euro Contract Type: Collaborative project (generic) End Date: 2014-04-30 Project Status: Execution Project Funding: 3.44 million euro Coordinator: ENEA - RICERCA SUL SISTEMA ELETTRICO SPA (IT) Seite 6
FP7 Projektbeispiele (2) (Innovative capture techniques) Development of postcombustion CO2 capture with CaO in a large testing facility: CaOling (CAOLING) This project is aiming at the scaling-up of one of the most promising concepts for CO2 capture from coal power plants: postcombustion carbonate looping systems. This project focuses on the experimental pilot testing and scaling up of the process at scales in the 1 MW range. Start Date: 2009-12-01 Duration: 36 months Project Cost: 6.87 million euro Contract Type: Collaborative project (generic) End Date: 2012-11-30 Project Status: Execution Project Funding: 3.73 million euro Coordinator: ENDESA GENERACION SA (ES) Seite 7
FP7 Projektbeispiele (3) (GHG emissions other than CO2 associated with coal production and use) Coal mine methane new solutions for use of CMM- reduction of GHG emissions (COMETH) The project aims at reducing green house gas (GHG) emissions caused by the uncontrolled exhausting of coal mine methane (CMM) to atmosphere and to explore suitable economically interesting schemes for its energetic use by the development of an universal decision guidance for optimal use of CMM under varying conditions. Start Date: 2008-11-01 Duration: 36 months Project Cost: 4.59 million euro Contract Type: Collaborative project (generic) End Date: 2011-10-31 Project Status: Execution Project Funding: 3.05 million euro Coordinator: FRAUNHOFER-GESELLSCHAFT ZUR FOERDERUNG DER ANGEWANDTEN FORSCHUNG E.V (DE) Seite 8
