4 Toan Nguyen lässt sich nicht einsperren. Er liebt die Weite. Gedanklich wie physisch. Diese spiegelt sich auch in der neuen Badkollektion INO wider, die der französische Designer für LAUFEN entworfen hat. Elegant, einladend und nahezu schwerelos inszenieren sich die makellosen Objekte mit schlichter Linienführung sowie zarten und dennoch extrem stabilen Wandungen. Eine Neuinterpretation klassischer Formen, die nicht nur linientreue Puristen im Innersten berührt. Toan Nguyen does not allow himself to be restricted. He loves expansiveness. Both mental and physical. This is also reflected in the new INO bathroom collection which the French designer has developed for LAUFEN. Immaculate objects with simple lines and delicate yet extremely stable walls conjure up an elegant, inviting and almost weightless look. A new interpretation of classic forms which doesn t just touch the hearts of hard-line purists. 4

16 Toan Nguyen Toan Nguyen wurde 1969 in Paris geboren und graduierte als Industriedesigner an den ENSI-Les Ateliers in Paris. Erfahrung sammelte Nguyen bei seiner Arbeit für verschiedene Designbüros in Paris, Barcelona und Madrid, bevor er mit Antonio Citterio als Design Director und Design Partner zusammenarbeitete gründete Toan Nguyen sein eigenes Designstudio in Mailand. Das Toan Nguyen Studio arbeitet multidisziplinär und hat sich auf die Designentwicklung in verschiedenen Produktbereichen spezialisiert. Toan Nguyen was born in Paris in 1969 and graduated as an industrial designer at the ENSI-Les Ateliers in Paris. Nguyen gained experience working for various design offices in Paris, Barcelona and Madrid before working with Antonio Citterio as Design Director and Design Partner. In 2008 Toan Nguyen founded his own design studio in Milan. The Toan Nguyen Studio works multidisciplinary and specialises in design development in various product areas. 16
