3 Cluster Policy in Hamburg Cluster policy is an integral part of Hamburg s innovation and technology strategy IT & Media Aviation Hamburg@Work (established 1997) was one of the first german cluster initiatives Life Science Logistic Hamburg supports eight successfull cluster initiatives Creative Industries Renewable Energies Healthcare Maritime Economy

4 Maritimes Cluster Norddeutschland MCN is a funded project, launched in 2011 Trilateral administrative agreement Financed by Ministries of Economics of the participating federal states Chamber of Commerce and Industry Schleswig-Holstein Wirtschaftsförderung und Technologietransfer Schleswig-Holstein GmbH (WTSH) Membership fees Role: Moderator at the interfaces between the sectors and adjoining technological fields
