10 The activities within MariTIM showed the economy sees great chances but also risks concerning the use of LNG there are a lot of LNG-activities in Germany (studies, events, projects) (but not coordinated and imbedded in a process) there is a "wait and see" attitude in Germany there is a need for further action for example concerning LNGtechnologies, -infrastructures and the legal basis
11 Innovation network in the north west of Germany to stimulate the use of Liquefied Natural Gas Action lines inventory of LNG activities, plans, actors in the region and best practices (excursions) technology and innovation (business cases, workshops, studies) networking and communication (lobbying, conferences, website, publications) legislation and finance (permits, laws and regulations, subsidies, tax benefits, funding)
