2 IT Il presente manuale descrive le operazioni da eseguire per la corretta installazione del prodotto. La procedura è stata sviluppata in modo da garantire una rapida e sicura installazione, si raccomanda di seguire scrupolosamente le presenti istruzioni. 5 PROCEDURA DI CONFIGURAZIONE - Le operazioni descritte di seguito devono essere eseguite a veicolo completamente cablato secondo il manuale di installazione allegato. - Se necessario, all attivazione, sbloccare la carta Sim tramite Pin di sblocco. - Collegare un Sat Programmer come descritto nelle pagine seguenti. - Portarsi a Livello INSTALLATORE e seguendo le indicazioni riportate nella descrizione dei menù effettuare le operazioni di configurazione. Importante: Il terminale consente comunicazioni SMS tramite tecnologia GSM, quindi necessita di una SIM CARD (non fornita da MetaSystem) per poter funzionare correttamente. Per un funzionamento efficace del prodotto, MetaSystem consiglia l utilizzo esclusivo di SIM CARD a contratto. Per una corretta installazione effettuare la programmazione secondo lo schema riportato di seguito CONTROLLI E CONFIGURAZIONI DELL INSTALLAZIONE Verificare segnale GSM (inserire il PIN di sblocco se richiesto) Effettuare la procedura di inizializzazione Sim (questa operazione è molto importante e và eseguita prima di ogni altra programmazione!) Effettuare il check batterie Verificare segnale GPS Programmare il numero di allarmi massimi per VOL1 Programmare l immunità allarmi esterni Programmare il ritardo di attivazione della chiamata GSM Verificare gli ingressi nel menù Visualizza I/O ; gli ingressi sono: Segnale Quadro Segnale VOL1 (allarme veicolo) PERSONALIZZAZIONI CLIENTE Utilizzando il modulo Questionario per il proprietario del veicolo eseguire la personalizzazione del dispositivo Programmare la rubrica telefonica Inserire la targa del veicolo Programmare le liste chiamate (si consiglia di programmare per prima la lista ALL. AUTO in quanto andrà sempre configurata se presente e collegato un allarme esterno). All. auto (da impostare sempre) All. furto (solo se interessa) All. batteria (solo se interessa) Velocita (solo se interessa) Batt. Il display visualizza la scritta a lato indicando che il dispositivo è in manutenzione RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI DI ACCENSIONE PROBLEMA Non si accende SOLUZIONE Verificare i collegamenti elettrici con particolare attenzione alle connessioni di alimentazione Verificare il collegamento del SAT Programmer al dispositivo. Nel caso il problema permanga, contattare l Help Desk COME SI ACCEDE AI MENU (LIVELLI DI ACCESSO) L accesso ai menù è strutturato a livelli raggiungibili tramite password. Una volta installato l impianto, sarà poi necessario modificarle. A Livello INSTALLATORE sono presenti tutti i menù per configurare il prodotto. Scendendo di livello saranno accessibili solo alcuni menù di utilità. La struttura a livelli evita la modifica di parametri a personale non autorizzato. Quando si raggiunge un livello utilizzando le frecce ( e ) è possibile scorrere tutti i menù abilitati. 6

Installatore Scegli funzione : Livello INSTALLATORE NOTA Al posto della videata iniziale con la scritta DISATTIVATO..IN MANUTENZIONE potrebbe esserci la scritta ACCESSO BLOCCATO. INSERIRE CODICE che appare in caso il modulo non sia più in manutenzione! MENU DI PROGRAMMAZIONE Portandosi a Livello INSTALLATORE è possibile visualizzare tutti i menù necessari per la configurazione del prodotto. Utilizzando i tasti frecce ( e ) è possibile scorrere i vari menù. Per visualizzare più rapidamente ogni menù è possibile digitare direttamente il comando rapido e in seguito premere (i comandi rapidi sono quelli riportati nei riquadri di fianco ai menù). VERIFICA STATO GSM 365 Installatore Scegli funzione : Verifica stato GSM? SEGNALE GSM 50% = = = = = Funzione eseguita Attenzione: se all ingresso del menù il dispositivo si accorge che la SIM deve essere sbloccata è necessario inserire il PIN di sblocco. In questo caso premere il tasto + e quando apparirà la videata relativa, digitare il PIN confermando con il tasto. In questo menù appare la percentuale numerica e la rappresentazione grafica della qualità del segnale GSM presente in quel momento. Altre possibili scritte: GSM ASSENTE = Significa che non viene rilevato nessun segnale GSM. Possibili cause: Collegamento errato dell antenna o modulo GSM interno non funzionante. Modulo GSM In basso consumo = Significa che il GSM è in basso consumo. Probabilmente il quadro strumenti è spento. Segnale GSM insufficiente = Il segnale deve essere almeno 20%. Portare il veicolo all aperto; verificare la connessione dell antenna GSM; verificare l integrità del cavo; installare l antenna GSM in altra posizione; possibile scarso segnale del gestore telefonico. Stato modulo GSM non individuato Modulo GSM non risponde Errore SIM card non presente: Se si presentasse una di queste scritte uscire dal menù e digitare 999; premere e attendere. Dopo qualche istante il dispositivo si riavvierà. Eseguire l operazione 2 o 3 volte; se i problemi persistono contattare l Help Desk 7

8 INIZIALIZZA SIM 393 Installatore Scegli funzione : Inizializza SIM? Funzione avviata Attendere prego Funzione eseguita Operazione molto importante! Questa operazione è necessaria al primo avvio del prodotto dopo che è stata inserita la SIM oppure se venisse successivamente sostituita. E necessario lanciare questa funzione per caricare dei dati nella SIM stessa. Effettuando questa operazione è poi necessario riconfigurare tutte le liste chiamate in quanto verranno cancellate. Usare sempre SIM con rubrica vuota in quanto quest ultima verrebbe cancellata nelle prime venti posizioni che servono al dispositivo per caricarci dati funzionali. MetaSystem consiglia l utilizzo esclusivo di SIM CARD a contratto. CHECK BATTERIE 370 Installatore Scegli funzione : Check Batterie? Int 7,2V +22 C Ext 14,3V ok [] Questo menù visualizza lo stato delle batterie: quella interna d emergenza del dispositivo e quella esterna del veicolo. Se le tensioni rientrano nei margini previsti dal software a fianco del valore della batteria esterna comparirà un ok in piccolo. Se venisse scollegata la batteria, a fianco del valore della batteria esterna comparirà una scritta off in piccolo. Se la batteria scendesse a un livello troppo basso a fianco del valore della batteria esterna comparirà una scritta nok in piccolo. Funzione eseguita VERIFICA STATO GPS 366 Installatore Scegli funzione : Verifica stato GPS? _ 4sv 4 fix corrente 105 Funzione eseguita In questo menù appare la rappresentazione grafica e numerica di quanti satelliti sono visibili in quel momento. Descrizione esempio: _ = Rappresentazione grafica del numero e dell intensità dei satelliti. 4sv = Significa 4 satelliti visibili 4 = Dato non significativo per l utente! fix corrente = Significa che il punto GPS sta avvenendo correttamente. 105 = Contatore numerico (dato non significativo per l utente!) Altre possibili scritte: fix preced. = Significa che il punto GPS non è attuale. Attendere che venga effettuato un nuovo punto. fix non disp. = Significa che non è mai stato effettuato nemmeno un punto GPS. Rimanere in attesa di una rilevazione. GPS spento = Significa che il GPS è in basso consumo. Probabilmente il quadro strumenti è spento. GPS ASSENTE= Significa che non viene rilevato il GPS. Possibili cause:: Collegamenti errati o GPS non funzionante. NOTA: Per effettuare le prove, portare sempre il veicolo all aperto; in caso di problemi verificare la connessione dell antenna e l integrità del cavo. In caso i problemi persistano installare l antenna in altre posizioni. 8

9 NUMERO ALLARMI VOL1/2 MAX 427 Installatore Scegli funzione : Numero Allarmi VOL1/2 max : 10 Attraverso questo menù si imposta il numero massimo di volte che può essere rilevato un allarme del veicolo. Oltre il valore impostato non verranno più effettuate chiamate. Il conteggio si azzera quando viene spento e riacceso il quadro. Programmando a 0 questo parametro non verranno inviati allarmi derivati dall ingresso VOL1 Possibili selezioni: Per modificare l impostazione premere + o -. Per confermare e uscire premere Per annullare e uscire premere C IMMUNITA ALLARMI ESTERNI 429 Installatore Scegli funzione : Immunità allarmi esterni 0 min Attraverso questo menù si imposta il tempo che deve intercorrere prima che il dispositivo si riarmi per accettare un nuovo segnale di allarme. Entro il tempo impostato non effettuerà più chiamate. Il conteggio si azzera quando viene spento e riacceso il quadro. Possibili selezioni: 0 15(minuti) Per modificare l impostazione premere + o -. Per confermare e uscire premere Per annullare e uscire premere C RITARDO ATTIVAZIONE CHIAMATA GSM 341 Installatore Scegli funzione : Rit. Attivazione Chiamata GSM 3 Il numero rappresenta il tempo dopo il quale partirà la chiamata di allarme. Prendendo l esempio a fianco, significa che la chiamata partirà dopo che il dispositivo ha rilevato per più di 3 secondi il segnale di allarme. Possibili selezioni: (secondi) Per modificare l impostazione premere + o -. Per confermare e uscire premere Per annullare e uscire premere C VISUALIZZA I/O 447 Installatore Scegli funzione : Visualizza I/O? - - H - A R K - - Vol1 attivo Questo menù consente di visualizzare gli ingressi cablati e gli stati del sistema: Ogni segnale o stato viene visualizzato tramite una lettera: K = segnale accensione Quadro R = Dispositivo in autogestione A = Dispositivo in servizio (non in manutenzione) 1 = Segnale allarme veicolo (VOL1). 2 = Segnale Sensore inclinazione (VOL2) H = Blocco accesso dati Sat Programmer Funzione eseguita 9

10 RUBRICA TELEFONICA 205 C C Installatore Scegli funzione : Gestione Rubrica Indice? Indice >> - - Indice >> 81 Indice : 81 >> disponibile << Inserire posizione rubrica Inserire il numero telefonico Indice : In questo menù si inseriscono i numeri di telefono tra i quali verranno poi scelti quelli a cui inviare le chiamate di allarme. La rubrica è composta da 90 numeri. Di questi 90, dieci (81 : 90) sono Golden Number cioè numeri di telefono abilitati a interagire con l auto tramite comandi da digitare sul cellulare. Se si vuole sfruttare questa gestione via cellulare è necessario memorizzare il numero telefonico in una di queste posizioni. Quando si è entrati nella rubrica ad una determinata posizione se quest ultima è libera comparirà la scritta >> disponibile <<. Se la posizione è occupata comparirà il numero memorizzato il quale, digitando un nuovo numero, verrà sovrascritto oppure basterà premere il tasto e poi per rendere disponibile la posizione. Per selezionare le successive posizioni della rubrica utilizzare i tasti e. Durante la digitazione se si commette un errore basta premere il tasto Per confermare premere. Si udirà un beep prolungato ma la videata rimarrà la stessa. Per annullare e uscire premere C Importante: quando si inserisce un numero di telefono è necessario digitare davanti al numero il prefisso internazionale (ad esempio per l Italia +39 oppure 0039). C per Uscire per Salvare TARGA VETTURA 307 Installatore Scegli funzione : Targa vettura (8 car.) Digitare lettere e numeri Targa vettura (8 car.) AM184NT La targa può essere composta al massimo da 8 caratteri Per inserire una lettera premere più volte sul tasto del Sat Programmer dove è serigrafata fino a che comparirà Per confermare e passare alla cifra successiva premere il tasto + e in corrispondenza sul display comparirà un punto di fianco alla cifra appena immessa. Per cancellare una cifra appena digitata premere il tasto - Per confermare e uscire premere Per annullare e uscire premere C Funzione eseguita 10

11 LISTA CHIAMATE ALL. AUTO 353 Installatore Scegli funzione : Lista chiamate ALL. AUTO ALL. AUTO < 1 > Pos. - - SOLO SMS Digitare la posizione di rubrica ALL. AUTO < 1 > Pos. 81 SOLO SMS In questo menù si programmano le chiamate che dovranno essere eseguite in caso scatti l allarme del veicolo. Il numero massimo di chiamate è 5. In pratica si può mandare il messaggio a 5 numeri di telefono diversi. I numeri di telefono a cui inviare le chiamate devono essere scelti impostando la posizione della rubrica nella quale sono stati precedentemente memorizzati L unico formato disponibile per le chiamate è l SMS Per scegliere la posizione di rubrica digitare semplicemente il numero. Non immettendo nessuna posizione di rubrica (Pos. - - ) la chiamata non verrà effettuata. Per ottenere i due trattini premere il tasto 0 fino a quando comparirà - -. Per programmare il numero di chiamata utilizzare i tasti + e -. Per confermare premere. Per annullare e uscire premere C + - ALL. AUTO < 3 > Pos. - - SOLO SMS Digitare la posizione di rubrica ALL. AUTO < 3 > Pos. 10 SOLO SMS NOTA: Se la lista è la prima che viene programmata, all uscita, premendo apparirà la richiesta Copia su tutte le liste?. Premendo verrà avviata una memorizzazione delle impostazioni appena settate in quella lista, su tutte le liste presenti. Apparirà una videata di attesa Funzione avviata..attendere prego Se al contrario non si vogliono configurare tutte le liste nello stesso modo basterà premere C e poi programmare ogni lista una ad una. Vedi NOTA per salvare LISTA CHIAMATE ALLARME FURTO 345 In questo menù si programmano le chiamate che dovranno essere eseguite in caso il veicolo sia spostato a quadro spento. Per effettuare la chiamata è necessario impostare la posizione di rubrica al quale mandare l avviso. Poiché le modalità di programmazione sono le medesime per tutte le liste chiamate vedi quanto descritto per il menù LISTA CHIAMATE ALL. AUTO LISTA CHIAMATE ALL. BATTERIA 347 In questo menù si programmano le chiamate che dovranno essere eseguite in caso di assenza della batteria (scollegamento o taglio cavi). Per effettuare la chiamata è necessario impostare la posizione di rubrica al quale mandare l avviso. Poiché le modalità di programmazione sono le medesime per tutte le liste chiamate vedi quanto descritto per il menù LISTA CHIAMATE ALL. AUTO LISTA CHIAMATE VELOCITA 350 In questo menù si programmano le chiamate che dovranno essere eseguite in caso venga superato il limite di velocità impostato. Per effettuare la chiamata è necessario impostare la posizione di rubrica al quale mandare l avviso. Poiché le modalità di programmazione sono le medesime per tutte le liste chiamate vedi quanto descritto per il menù LISTA CHIAMATE ALL. AUTO 11

12 LISTA CHIAMATE BATT. SCARICA 351 In questo menù si programmano le chiamate che dovranno essere eseguite in caso la batteria dell auto scenda sotto i 10 Volt per più di 5 minuti. Per effettuare la chiamata è necessario impostare la posizione di rubrica al quale mandare l avviso. Poiché le modalità di programmazione sono le medesime per tutte le liste chiamate vedi quanto descritto per il menù LISTA CHIAMATE ALL. AUTO LISTA CHIAMATE VITALITA 357 In questo menù si programmano le chiamate che dovranno essere eseguite in caso venga attivata una trasmissione periodica, prefissata nel menù apposito. Per effettuare la chiamata è necessario impostare la posizione di rubrica al quale mandare l avviso. Poiché le modalità di programmazione sono le medesime per tutte le liste chiamate vedi quanto descritto per il menù LISTA CHIAMATE ALL. AUTO Installatore Scegli funzione : Trasm. Vitalità ogni << ferma >> Installatore Scegli funzione : Limite velocità 31 = 310 Kmh TRASMISSIONE DI VITALITA 405 Mediante questo menù è possibile impostare ogni quanto tempo dovrà essere inviato un avviso periodico di vitalità. Programmando «ferma» non viene inviato nessun messaggio Possibili selezioni: (ferma) 30 secondi 45 giorni Per modificare l impostazione premere + o -. Per confermare e uscire premere Per annullare e uscire premere C LIMITE DI VELOCITA 439 Mediante questo menù è possibile impostare il limite di velocità oltre il quale verrà inviato un avviso di superamento velocità. Possibili selezioni: (Km/h) Per modificare l impostazione premere + o oppure digitare solo i primi due numeri della velocità da impostare. Lo zero verrà aggiunto in automatico. Per confermare e uscire premere Per annullare e uscire premere C VIDEATA A COSA SERVE COMANDO RAPIDO SN (sola lettura) MENU ESCLUSIVAMENTE DI VISUALIZZAZIONE E il serial number (numero di matricola) della centralina. E sempre diverso da prodotto a prodotto (il numero riportato qui a fianco è un esempio!) 206 Rev. SW centrale PAA Ascolta messaggi vocali? Posizione GPS? ok N E [] E la revisione software della centralina. Da questo menù si può verificare lo stato di aggiornamento. (il numero riportato qui a fianco è un esempio!) Premendo si possono ascoltare tutti i messaggi vocali sintetizzati che il dispositivo può emettere. Per terminare l ascolto premere di nuovo. Premere per entrare e uscire dal menù! In questo menù vengono visualizzate le coordinate del luogo in cui ci si trova. Queste ultime vengono fornite in formato GRADI-MINUTI-SECONDI e tramite la cartografia presente nel sito si potrà individuare l esatta posizione del veicolo. Se compaiono come coordinate tutti zero verificare il modulo GPS e i suoi collegamenti (vedi paragrafo Verifica stato GPS )

13 MENU NASCOSTI RICHIAMABILI SOLO CON COMANDI RAPIDI I menù riportati di seguito possono essere richiamati solo tramite comandi rapidi. Tali menù non vengono normalmente visualizzati perché non dovrebbero servire per una normale installazione perciò sono stati nascosti per poi essere richiamati solo se ve ne fosse la necessità. Per poterli visualizzare, portarsi a Livello INSTALLATORE, digitare il comando rapido relativo e premere. Uscendo dal menù quest ultimo tornerà a essere nascosto come in precedenza VIDEATA A COSA SERVE COMANDO RAPIDO Codice IMEI E il serial number (numero di matricola) del modulo GSM interno. E sempre diverso da prodotto a prodotto (il numero riportato qui a fianco è un esempio!) E la revisione software del modulo GSM interno. Rev. SW mod. Da questo menù si può verificare lo stato di aggiornamento. GSM REVISION (il numero riportato qui a fianco è un esempio!) 208 Numero CS SMS Formato coord. : GRADI.MIN.SEC Viene visualizzato il numero del centro servizi degli SMS. Questo numero viene inserito in automatico dal dispositivo in base alla SIM che viene inserita. Questo numero non deve essere modificato! In questo menù viene configurato il formato con cui si vogliono visualizzare le coordinate del GPS. Oltre a GRADI.MIN.SEC si possono programmare i formati DECIMALE oppure NMEA. 14 CONSEGNA DEL VEICOLO PERSONALIZZAZIONE DELLE PASSWORD Una volta terminata l installazione è necessario, per ragioni di sicurezza, modificare le password di accesso ai vari livelli del Sat Programmer. Questa operazione consentirà l uso e la programmazione del prodotto solo al personale autorizzato in possesso dei codici di accesso corretti. Le password dei livelli di SBLOCCO e SBLOCCO FUNZIONI dovranno essere immesse direttamente e solo dal proprietario del veicolo. Queste password dovranno rimanere a conoscenza solo di quest ultimo. L installatore dovrà invece immettere una propria password segreta. Operando in questo modo l utente potrà (se fornito di Sat Programmer) avere accesso solo ad alcuni menù di utilità tipo ad esempio la gestione della rubrica telefonica mentre non avrà la possibilità di andare a modificare parametri fondamentali per il corretto funzionamento del dispositivo. Viceversa l installatore non potrà avere accesso al prodotto se prima questo non verrà sbloccato dal proprietario con la propria password. Questa operazione consente di attivare il prodotto in modo definitivo abilitando quest ultimo all invio delle chiamate di allarme o di avviso qualora vi fosse una situazione che lo richieda. Per effettuare questa operazione portarsi a Livello INSTALLATORE e richiamare la funzione apposita: Installatore Scegli funzione : Per confermare premere. Per annullare e uscire premere C Disattiva modo Manutenzione? ATTIVA MODO MANUTENZIONE 430 Per effettuare interventi successivi o qualora vi fosse la necessità di sostituire l apparato o più ancora semplicemente vi fosse la necessità di scollegare o sostituire la batteria dell auto sarà necessario rimettere il dispositivo in manutenzione. Per effettuare questa operazione richiedere al proprietario l accesso al livello SBLOCCO FUNZIONI; quest ultimo dovrà inserire le sue password segrete dopodiché l installatore potrà salire al suo livello con la propria password. A questo punto ricercare la funzione per mettere il prodotto in manutenzione ed evitare così che vengano inviate chiamate di allarme. Installatore Scegli funzione : Per confermare premere. Per annullare e uscire premere C. Attiva modo Manutenzione? SPEGNIMENTO DEL DISPOSITIVO Per spegnere in modo corretto il dispositivo è necessario attivare prima lo stato di manutenzione e poi in seguito si potrà scollegare l alimentazione. In questo modo il prodotto invece di rimanere autoalimentato con la propria batteria interna si spegnerà completamente. Se non si osservano le seguenti indicazioni il dispositivo rimarrà attivo per tutto il tempo di carica della batteria interna e verranno inviate le chiamate di allarme batteria qualora la lista relativa sia stata configurata. 15

21 CONFIGURATION PROCEDURE - The steps described below must be followed after all the cabling on the vehicle has been completed according to the enclosed installation manual. - Unblock the SIM card after it has been switched on by keying in the release PIN number if necessary. - Connect a Sat Programmer as described in the following pages. - Enter INSTALLER level and complete the steps for configuration by following the instructions given in the descriptions of the menus. Important: The product enables SMS communication using GSM technology. Therefore a SIM card is required (not supplied by MetaSystem) for it to function correctly. MetaSystem recommends the exclusive use of contract-based SIM cards to ensure optimum operation of the product. Complete programming according to the steps described below to safeguard correct installation CHECKING AND CONFIGURATION FOR INSTALLATION Check the GSM signal (enter PIN if requested) Complete the SIM initialisation procedure (this is a very important step and must be carried out before any other programming!) Contact the Help Desk if the problem persists HOW TO ACCESS MENUS (ACCESS LEVELS) Access to menus is structured in levels that are entered by keying in the relative passwords. These must be changed once the system has been installed. All the menus needed to complete the configuration of the product are present at INSTALLER level. As you go down the various levels, only certain utility menus will remain accessible. The structure in levels prevents the possibility of parameters being altered by unauthorised personnel. It is possible to scroll through all the menus available after a level has been reached using the ( s t ) arrows. 22

CHECK GSM STATUS 365 Installer Check GSM Status? SIGNAL GSM 50% = = = = = Done Warning: if the device realises that the SIM requires unblocking when the menu is accessed, the PIN must be entered to release it. In this case, press the + key and key in the PIN when the relevant screen appears, then confirm by means of the key. This menu confirms the quality of the current GSM signal and is shown both as a percentage and in a chart format. Other information provided: NO GSM = this means that no GSM signal has been captured. Possible causes: Incorrect connection of the aerial or failure of internal GSM module. GSM module in low power mode = this means that the GSM is in low consumption mode. The ignition key is probably switched off. GSM signal too low = the signal must be at least 20%. Take the vehicle outside; check the connection of the GSM aerial; check the cables; change the place where the GSM aerial is installed; the signal from the telephone service provider may be weak. GSM module status Undefined GSM module not answering.. Error SIM card not found: Should one of the above messages appear, exit the menu and enter 999; press and wait. The device will reset after a few seconds. Try again 2 or 3 times; if the problems persist, contact our Help Desk 23

This step is necessary the first time the product is switched on after the SIM card has been inserted or if it has been replaced at a later date. This function must be launched in order to download data onto the SIM card itself. When this is done, reconfiguration is also required for all the calls lists, as they will have been deleted.. Always use SIM cards whose phonebook is empty; otherwise, its first twenty positions will be deleted as these are used by the device for its operating data. MetaSystem recommends the exclusive use of contract-based SIM CARDS. CHECK BATTERIES 370 Installer Select function: Battery Check? If the voltages are within the limits set by the software, a small ok sign will appear next to the reading for the external battery. If the battery is disconnected, a small off sign will appear next to the reading for the external battery. If the battery drops below the acceptable level, a small nok sign will appear next to the reading for the external battery. Wait for a fix to be established. GPS OFF = This means the GPS is in low consumption mode. The ignition key is probably switched off. NO GPS = this means the GPS has not been located. Possible causes: Incorrect connections or GPS failure. NB: Always take the vehicle outside for testing; should you encounter problems, check the connections of the aerial and the cabling. Should the problems persist, try installing the aerial elsewhere. 24

25 MAX NUMBER OF VOL1/2 ALARMS 427 Installer Max VOL1/2 alarms: 10 This menu is used to set the maximum number of times that an alarm can be triggered on the vehicle. Calls will not be placed after the set amount. The counter is reset when the ignition key is switched off and on again. If this parameter is set at 0, alarms triggered on the VOL1 input will not be transmitted. Possible selections: To modify the setting, press + or -. To confirm and exit, press To cancel and exit, press C Installer Extern alarm immunity 0 min EXTERNAL ALARM IMMUNITY 429 This menu is used to set the time that must pass before the device will rearm and so can accept a new alarm signal. The phonebook holds up to 90 numbers. These 90 numbers include ten Golden Numbers (from 81 to 90), i.e. telephone numbers that are able to interact with the vehicle by means of commands entered on the mobile phone. If control via mobile phone is required, the relative telephone number must be stored in one of these positions. After you have entered a position in the phonebook, the message >> available << will appear if it is vacant. If the position is occupied, the number stored there will appear; you can replace the old number by writing over it with a new number. Otherwise, press the key followed by to clear the position. Use the s and t keys to select the next positions in the phonebook. If you make a mistake when entering in numbers, simply press the key. To confirm, press. You will hear a long beep without seeing any change in the display. In order for the call to be placed, you must indicate the phonebook position where the warning message will be sent. The method for programming is the same for all calls lists; therefore, please refer to the instructions given for the CAR ALARM CALLS LIST menu. SPEED WARNING CALLS LIST 350 This menu is used to programme the calls that will be placed should the set speed limit be exceeded. In order for the call to be placed, you must indicate the phonebook position where the warning message will be sent and the format to be used for this. 29 HIDDEN MENUS CALLED UP BY QUICK COMMANDS The menus shown below can only be called up by using the quick commands. These menus are not usually displayed because they should not be needed for standard installation purposes. They are, therefore, hidden and can be called up should this be necessary. In order to display them, enter INSTALLER Level, enter the relevant quick command and press. The menu will be concealed once again after you have exited it. There are 4 kinds of configuration: AUTO: The system recognizes automatically the alarm signal (both positive or negative), as long as in stand-by status the signal is free (set-up by default). POSITIVE: The system recognizes the alarm signal when the alarm is on positive; this function must be used when, in standby status the alarm signal is negative. NEGATIVE: The system recognizes the alarm signal when the alarm is on negative; this function must be used when in standby status the alarm signal is positive.
