1 PRODUCT CHANGE DWS Investments, Product Management, DWS Türkei various changes/diverse Änderungen English Version: The following changes of the above mentioned fund will be effective per December 1, 2009: The calculation of the NAV per unit will take place each bank business day in Luxembourg. In future, it will no longer be taken into account whether that date is also a bank business day in Frankfurt/Main. The modified difference method for the investment in units of target funds will no longer apply. In this respect, investment in target funds (funds of DWS group) could lead to duplicate costs, since fees could be incurred at the level of the fund as well as at the level of a target fund. The fund management company will change to DWS Investment GmbH. The option to issue fractional shares will be introduced. If fractional units are issued, the sales prospectus will specify the exact number of places after the decimal point to which the fractions are rounded. Fractional units entitle the bearer to participate in any distributions on a pro-rata basis. Introduction of an up to rule for the all-in-fee, front-end load and possible backend load. The new logic offers more flexibility. Please note that the current cost structure does not change at all. In particular, there is no back-end load levied from the client (only an option that is part of the prospectus). The following changes of the above mentioned fund will be effective per January 1, 2010: MSCI Turkey 10/40 will be introduced as a new benchmark: o for the performance-based fee for the fund manager o for performance measurement in general o as a risk benchmark The new benchmark better reflects the current investment universe of the fund. 2 Deutsche Version: Für den o.g. Fonds treten mit Wirkung zum 1. Dezember 2009 folgende Änderungen in Kraft: NAV Berechnung: Für die Bestimmung eines Bewertungstages werden nur noch Luxemburger Bankarbeitstage herangezogen. Hier folgen wir unserem aktuell gültigen Standard. Die modifizierte Differenzmethode für die Anlage in Anteilen von Zielfonds verbundener Unternehmen wird gestrichen. Die Anlage in Zielfonds (DWS gruppeneigene Fonds) kann zur doppelten Abrechnung von Verwaltungsvergütungen führen, da sowohl auf der Ebene des Fonds als auch auf der Ebene eines Zielfonds Gebühren anfallen können. Für den Investmentfonds wird das Fondsmanagement auf die DWS Investment GmbH, Frankfurt, übertragen. Es wird die Bruchstückfähigkeit eingeführt. Sofern Anteilsbruchteile ausgegeben werden, enthält das Verkaufsprospekt konkrete Angaben mit wie vielen Dezimalzahlen eine Ausgabe von Bruchteilen erfolgt. Anteilsbruchteile berechtigen zur Teilnahme an etwaigen Ausschüttungen auf einer pro rata-basis. Bezüglich des Ausgabeaufschlags, der Kostenpauschale und eines möglichen Rücknahmeabschlags wird eine bis zu Regelung eingeführt, die eine flexiblere Handhabung der Kostengestaltung ermöglicht. Bitte beachten Sie, dass sich an der aktuellen Kostenstruktur nichts ändert, insbesondere wird kein Rücknahmeabschlag erhoben (stellt nur eine theoretische Option des Verkaufsprospektes dar) Für den o.g. Fonds tritt mit Wirkung zum 1. Januar 2010 zudem folgende Änderung in Kraft: Einführung des MSCI Turkey 10/40 als neue Benchmark: o Für die Performance-Fee-Regelung o Für die allgemeine Performance-Messung o Als neue Risk Benchmark Die neue Benchmark spiegelt das aktuelle Investmentuniversum noch optimaler wider. Change effective January 1, 2010: Effective January 1, 2010, in article 20 of the special section of the sales prospectus, the benchmark for the performance-based fee for the fund manager will be replaced. Beginning January 1, 2010, the new benchmark will be the MSCI Turkey 10/40. II. Changes effective December 1, 2009: Effective December 1, 2009, the following changes listed below under points 1) through 5) will come into force: 1) The modified difference method for investment in units of target funds will be removed. In this respect, investment in target funds leads to duplicate costs, and particularly duplicate management fees, since fees are incurred at the level of the fund as well as at the level of a target fund. 2) The calculation of the NAV per unit will take place each bank business day in Luxembourg. In future, it will no longer be taken into account whether that date is also a bank business day in Frankfurt/Main. 3) The following paragraph will be added to article 19 in the special section of the management regulations: Fractions of units may be issued. If fractional units are issued, the sales prospectus will specify the exact number of places after the decimal point to which the fractions are rounded. Fractional units entitle the bearer to participate in any distributions on a prorata basis. 4) Furthermore, the sales prospectus will be adapted so that the specifications of the allin fee, the initial sales charge and the redemption fee now include the phrase up to in specifying the amounts. 5) Fund management for the investment fund will be transferred to DWS Investment GmbH, Frankfurt/Main. III. General information Unitholders are encouraged to request the respective current full sales prospectus and the simplified sales prospectus. Unitholders who do not accept the amendments mentioned under I) and under II) point 1) may redeem their units free of charge within one month following this publication at the offices of the Management Company, and at all of the paying agents named in the sales prospectus. Änderung mit Wirkung zum : Mit Wirkung zum wird in Artikel 20 des Verkaufsprospekt Besonderer Teil der Bezugsindex für die erfolgsbezogene Vergütung des Fondsmanagers ausgetauscht. Neuer Bezugsindex ist ab dem der MSCI Turkey 10/40. II. Änderungen mit Wirkung zum : Mit Wirkung zum treten die nachfolgend unter Ziffer 1) 5) dargestellten Änderungen in Kraft: 1) Die modifizierte Differenzmethode für die Anlage in Anteilen von Zielfonds wird gestrichen. Die Anlage in Zielfonds führt insoweit zu Kostendoppelbelastungen, insbesondere zu doppelten Verwaltungsvergütungen, da sowohl auf der Ebene des Fonds als auch auf der Ebene eines Zielfonds Gebühren anfallen. 2) Die Anteilwertberechnung findet an jedem Bankarbeitstag in Luxemburg statt. Ob zusätzlich ein Bankarbeitstag in Frankfurt vorliegt, wird nicht mehr berücksichtigt. 3) Im Verwaltungsreglement - Besonderer Teil wird im Artikel 19 folgender Absatz hinzugefügt: Es können Anteilsbruchteile ausgeben werden. Sofern Anteilsbruchteile ausgegeben werden, enthält das Verkaufsprospekt konkrete Angaben mit wie vielen Dezimalzahlen eine Ausgabe von Bruchteilen erfolgt. Anteilsbruchteile berechtigen zur Teilnahme an etwaigen Ausschüttungen auf einer pro rata-basis. 4) Ferner wird der Verkaufsprospekt dahingehend angepasst, dass es sich bei den Angaben von Kostenpauschale, Ausgabeaufschlag und Rücknahmeabschlag um bis zu Angaben handelt. 5) Für den Investmentfonds wird das Fondsmanagement auf die DWS Investment GmbH, Frankfurt, übertragen. III. Hinweise Den Anteilinhabern wird empfohlen, den jeweils aktuell gültigen Verkaufsprospekt und den Vereinfachten Verkaufsprospekt anzufordern. Der jeweils gültige Verkaufsprospekt und der vereinfachte Verkaufsprospekt sowie die Jahres- und Halbjahresberichte und sonstigen Verkaufsunterlagen sind kostenlos bei der Verwaltungsgesellschaft und den benannten Zahlstellen erhältlich. 6 Anteilinhaber, die mit den unter I) und unter II) Ziffer 1) genannten Änderungen nicht einverstanden sind, können ihre Anteile innerhalb eines Monats nach dieser Veröffentlichung kostenlos bei der Verwaltungsgesellschaft sowie bei allen im Verkaufsprospekt genannten Zahlstellen zurückgeben.
