2 RUDI ALTIG RACE im Rahmen von Rad am Ring 30th July, 2017 Technischer Leitfaden / Technical Guide ARTIKEL 1. ORGANISATION ARTICLE 1. ORGANIZATION Rad am Ring wird durch die Eventwerkstatt GmbH, Eichendorffstraße 92, Vaihingen/Enz, Germany, Telefon , Telefax , nach dem Reglement des Weltradsportverbandes UCI organisiert. Rad am Ring is organized by Eventwerkstatt GmbH, Eichendorffstraße 92, Vaihingen/Enz, Germany, phone , Fax , according to the regulations of World Cycling Federation UCI. The race will take place on July 30, Das Rennen findet statt am Das Rennen wird ausgefahren auf der Nordschleife (5x 22,4km mit je 580 Höhenmeter) und auf der GP-Strecke (5x 5,2km mit je 125 Höhenmeter) des Nürburgrings über eine Distanz von 141,2km. The race is held on Nordschleife (5 x 23 km with 580 vertical meters respectively) and on GP circuit (5x 5.1 km with 125 vertical meters respectively) of Nürburgring covering an overall distance of 140 km. Start: 12:25 Uhr, Nürburgring, Ausfahrt Boxengasse Grand Prix Strecke. Start: 12:15pm, Nürburgring, exit pit lane Grand Prix circuit. Ziel: gegen 15:50 Uhr, Nürburgring, Zielgerade Grand Prix Strecke. Finish: approx. 4:30pm, Nürburgring, finishing straight Grand Prix Strecke. ARTIKEL 2. ART DES RENNENS ARTICLE 2. TYPE OF RACE Das Rennen ist Teil des UCI-Europa-Kalenders und wird in der Klasse ME 1.1 geführt. In Übereinstimmung mit den UCI Regeln werden Punkte für die UCI Weltrangliste vergeben. The race is part of UCI European calendar and categorized ME 1.1. In accordance with UCI regulations UCI world ranking points will be given. ARTIKEL 3. TEILNEHMER ARTICLE 3. PARTICIPANTS Wie im Artikel des UCI Reglements geregelt, können UCI ProTeams (max. 50%), UCI Professional Continental Teams, UCI Continental Teams und Nationalmannschaften an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen. As clarified in article of UCI regulations, World Tour Teams, (max. 50%), UCI Continental Professional, UCI Continental and National Teams may participate in this event. 3 Wie im Artikel des UCI Reglements geregelt, müssen die Mannschaften aus mindestens 5 und maximal 8 Fahrern bestehen. As clarified in article of UCIregulations teams have to consist of at least 5 and max. 8 riders. ARTIKEL 4. RENNBÜRO / PERMANENCE / DOPING-RAUM ARTICLE 4. PERMANENCE / PRESS CENTER / ANTI DOPING Die Permanence befindet sich im Start&Zielhaus (TÜV- Tower, 1. OG) im Drivers Briefing Room (Tel ) und ist am ab 14:00 Uhr geöffnet. Permanence for the UCI race is located at start & finish house (TÜV Tower, upper floor) in Drivers Briefing Room (phone ). and will be open as of July 29th, 2017, 2 pm. Rad am Ring s race office will be open as of Friday, 8 am (phone ). Mannschaftsleiter können dort am von 15:00 bis 16:45 Uhr ihre Starter bestätigen und die entsprechenden Rückennummern abholen. Team managers can confirm their starters at UCI office on July 29, 2017 from 3 pm to 4:45 pm and collect their respective bib numbers Die Mannschaftsleitersitzung findet nach Artikel des UCI-Reglements in Anwesenheit des Kollegiums der Kommissäre am selben Tag um 17:00 Uhr im Start&Zielhaus im Drivers Briefing Room (Tel ) statt. Team managers meeting will take place in the presence of the panel of Commissaires the same day at 5 pm in start & finish house at Drivers Briefing Room (phone ) according to article of UCI regulations. Media center (phone ) will be located at start & finish house at Photographers Room as well in the 1st floor Das Rennbüro/Organisationsbüro (Tel ) befindet sich im Erdgeschoss des Boxengebäudes neben Box 1 und das Pressezentrum befindet sich ebenfalls im Start&Zielhaus im Fotografen Arbeitsraum des Nürburgrings (Tel ). Der Anti-Doping-Test-Raum nach dem Rennen (am ) befindet sich im Medical Center des Nürburgrings schräg gegenüber Box 33 im Fahrerlager. The anti-doping test room after the race (July 30th, 2017) wil be in the medical center nearby pit 33 in the Grand Prix paddock. ARTIKEL 5. RADIO-TOUR ARTICLE 5. RADIO-TOUR Radio-Tour sendet während des Rennens Informationen über kodierten Digitalfunk. Für die Teams werden Funkgeräte vom Veranstalter bereitgestellt, der Gebrauch eigener Geräte oder Scanner ist nicht möglich. Radio-Tour will be broadcasting information via digital radio. The organizer will provide the teams with radios. The use of personal scanners is due to the digital radios not possible. ARTIKEL 6. NEUTRALE MATERIALVERSORGUNG ARTICLE 6. NEUTRAL SUPPLY OF MATERIALS Die neutrale Materialversorgung wird durch 3 Materialwagen sichergestellt. Neutral supply of materials will be ensured by 3 service cars. 4 ARTIKEL 7. KARENZZEITEN ARTICLE 7. GRACE PERIODS Fahrer, welche mit einem Rückstand von mehr als 8% auf den Sieger das Ziel erreichen werden nicht ins Ergebnis aufgenommen. Die Rennleitung kann Fahrer mit einem Rückstand von mehr als 10 Minuten (oder bei Überrundung auf dem Finalkurs) auf das Hauptfeld aus dem Rennen nehmen. Riders reaching the finish line with a delay of more than 8% on the winner will not be listed in the results. Race organization could take riders with a delay of more than 10 minutes on the main field (or when being lapped on the final course) out of the race. ARTIKEL 8. SONDERWERTUNGEN ARTICLE 8. Finish passage km 125,6 6. Finish passage km 130,8 7. Finish passage km 136,0 Die ersten 3 Fahrer jeder Abnahme erhalten Punkte für die Sprint-Gesamtwertung. Sieger der Sprintwertung wird der Fahrer mit dem meisten Punkten. Bei Punktgleichheit entscheidet die Anzahl der Wertungssiege, dann die Anzahl der zweiten und ggf. die Anzahl der dritten Plätze. Besteht dann immer noch Gleichstand, entscheidet die bessere Platzierung im Zieleinlauf. Der Sieger erhält einen Geldpreis von 500,-. The first 3 riders of every classification passage get points in the overall sprint classification. Winner of the sprint classification will be the rider who gained most points. In case of a draw the number of classification wins decides, followed by the number of second and third places if necessary. If a draw remains nevertheless, the better place in the final result of the race decides. The winner will be awarded 500 Euros. The total of prize money amounts to 14,477 Euros. It will be distributed on the first 20 riders as follows: Euros. Prize money will be paid out via Bund Deutscher Radfahrer (German Cycling Federation). ARTIKEL 10. ANTI-DOPING-KONTROLLE ARTICLE 10. ANTI_DOPING CONTROLS Es kommt das Reglement der die AD-Kontrolle durchführenden Organisation (UCI oder NADA/WADA) zur Anwendung. Die Kontrolle findet statt im Medical Center des Nürburgrings schräg gegenüber von Box 33 im Fahrerlager. The regulations of the implementing anti-doping organization (UCI or NADA/WADA) apply. 6 ARTIKEL 11. SIEGEREHRUNG ARTICLE 11. AWARD CEREMONY In Übereinstimmung mit Artikel des UCI Reglements müssen die ersten 3 Fahrer des Rennens sowie die Sieger der Berg- und Sprintwertung an der offiziellen Siegerehrung und der anschließenden Pressekonferenz teilnehmen. Die betreffenden Fahrer präsentieren sich spätestens 5 Minuten nach ihrer Ankunft an der Ziellinie. In accordance with article of UCI regulations the first 3 riders of the race as well as the winners of sprint and mountain classifications have to be present at the official awards ceremony and the subsequent press conference. The riders concerned are requested to be at the finish line 5 minutes after their arrival. ARTIKEL 12. STRAFENKATALOG ARTICLE 12. PENALTIES Es gilt der UCI Strafenkatalog. UCI penalties apply. ARTIKEL 13. SONSTIGES ARTICLE 13. OTHER Das Waschen von Fahrzeugen und Fahrrädern mit Waschzusätzen/Kaltreinigern ist aus Gründen des Umweltschutzes verboten. Der Veranstalter benennt bei Bedarf Waschparks, die den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen entsprechen. Cleaning vehicles and bicycles with detergents/cold cleaners is forbidden for environmental reasons.
