1 Thank you for purchasing a hanit recycling plastic product, We wish you a lot of pleasure with that product. Please find below important installation instructions which need to be taken into consideration during the assembly. Our guarantee and warranty expire if you don t apply the given installation instructions. Installation kit General information hanit -products consists of recycled plastic and do not have a building supervision approval. Therefore the use of a load-bearing or safety-relevant component is not permitted. The installation surface of the sandbox should be flat and horizontal. The information given in this manual about the installation is based on an assembly temperature of 0 Celcius. On this basis, the temperature-related dimensional variations might be +/-.5 %. Plastic recycled products may show variations in color and surface structures. To avoid material deformation do not store unused profiles in the sun and only on flat surfaces. 3 When installing the beams on a fixed surface (concrete, paving, strip foundation) set the profiles accordingly to the later final installation in the first step. nd Step 4th Step st Step Mark the position of the beams inside and outside with bumper (chalk, blow, tape). Also mark the starting and ending points of each profile. Then remove the treshholds. 3rd Step Mount the long connectors and guide profi les as follows: For the end profiles: One connector as guided profile (n ot applicable to sandbox 35x35 cm). One long connector per jumper edge (long connector is pre-assembled on the treshold, nd U-beam connection hole must be drilled during the assembly, see step 4.) Recommendation: Assembly material for permanent dowelling of the long connector (not included in the delivery): Nylon plug S; Spax screws 0x00 - VA Please note: Long connectors must be doweled and straightened. 4 Drill from the left side to the middle of the U-beam (position specified, hole drilled in U-beam, hole drilled in U-threshold, drill Ø mm). 5th Step Drill from the right side to the middle of the U-beam (position specified, hole drilled in U-beam, hole drilled in U-threshold, drill Ø mm). Afterward push the threaded rod through and fix it with washers and nuts. Start the assembly with the pre-assembled end profile in the left corner. The positions of the long connector are given. Place the center profile on the pre-assembled end profile. th Step Starting from the first profile, place and adjust the U-beam at right angle on the mounting profiles. Please note: Consider the laying direction. 7th Step Laying direction Finally, the U-profiles are screwed together with the long connectors as follows: Per corner connector : 4 screws x00 mm (4 pieces per side) Per long connector : threaded rods with 4 washers and 4 nuts (M0) Information: Screw holes are pre-drilled and sunk.
