Introduction According to Art. 18b of Regulation 913/2010 the Management Board is obliged to publish a Corridor Information Document that includes Book 3 Terminal Description, containing information on the list and characteristics of terminals, in particular information concerning the conditions and methods of accessing the terminals. In accordance with Art. 2.2c of the Regulation, terminal means the installation provided along the freight corridor which has been specially arranged to allow either the loading and/or the unloading of goods onto/from freight trains, and the integration of rail freight services with road, maritime, river and air services, and either the forming or modification of the composition of freight trains; and, where necessary, performing border procedures at borders with European third countries. Both the Executive Board and Management Board of RFC North Sea Baltic invited the terminals to fill in the templates in order to have up to date and accurate information on the terminal/marshalling yard. Therefore this Book contains information on the characteristics and access conditions of the terminals and marshalling yards along the Corridor. Also in accordance with Art. 8.7 of the Regulation the Management Board shall set up an advisory group of the terminals: the Terminal Advisory Group. To get as much input as possible from the terminals, the group is open to all interested terminal operators, if relevant to the Corridor. The TAG is a unique possibility for terminals to express their expectations towards the RFC North Sea Baltic organization.
