Zusammenfassung Die Epidemiologie der Candidämie verändert sich und unterscheidet sich zwischen Krankenhäusern/Stationen Candida albicans ist (noch) der am häufigsten isolierte Hefepilz in Blutkulturen ABER! Candida glabrata nimmt bei Erwachsenen zu!...bei Kindern ist Candida parapsilosis die Nr. 2...Candidämie-assoziierte Letalität bleibt hoch Neue Antimykotika werden eine Rolle in der Behandlung von Non-Candida-albicans-Infektionen spielen
