FINAL EXAMS BEGIN: December 16 th FINAL EXAMS END: December 22 st 4:30 p.m. Oral Interview To be scheduled on Dec. 14 or 15. Although it is called an Oral Interview, this is more like a conversation. I will ask some questions, but you should also take the initiative to ask questions and steer the conversation. Our conversation will take about 10 minutes, and the general format will be as follows: 1) I will ask you a few basic questions about your life (Familie, Freizeit, Pläne für die Semesterferien usw.). Please ask me a question or two as well! 2) We will discuss two topics of your choice from the following list. Since this is a conversation, remember to ask me my opinion as well! If you have enough to say on any one of these topics to keep a conversation going for about four or five minutes, then you may choose to focus on only one topic. Otherwise, be prepared to talk about two. Wie war das Semester? Erzählen Sie von diesem Semester. Wie ist es denn gegangen? Was haben Sie denn alles gemacht und gelernt? Was war neu oder besonders interessant? Was ist nicht so gut gegangen? Filme, Bücher, Konzerte, usw.: Was haben Sie neulich gelesen, gesehen oder gehört? Beschreiben Sie
Note: You may bring to the interview one 3x5 index card with vocabulary on one side, but no full sentences! I ll collect the cards after the interview.
