Vocational colleges in the agricultural sector in Europe experience problems to deliver well qualified workers to innovative companies in the Bio Based Economy (BBE). In general, teachers do not have the specific training materials at hand, directly related to the new BBE. Most VET colleges (EQF3-4) do not possess the right and specific educational materials that fit the BBE challenge. Outcomes. The end results of EBBEY will be practical learning and support materials on BBE, to be used directly in and outside the class room. EBBEY will involve end users (teachers + students). A multilingual resource platform will be developed in support, as well as a face-to-face teachertrains-teacher program to ensure high usage and wide transfer. Zusammenfassung: Reasons. But not everybody knows what it is and how many different aspects bio-based economy has. We invite you to show what you understand from Biobased Economy (BBE). Who can participate? Students of secondary vocational education, especially in the green sector, supported by teachers and parents can participate. How can you participate? You can make a film, a photo story, a music piece or a song, a theatre-play, you can organize an exhibition, you can organize a practical school experiment or a excursion for BBE (Think of biogas, algae production, sustainable energy, etc.) What you can win? The overall winner was invited for the final meeting in Luxemburg in November The winning project resulted from Nordwin College in the Netherlands We have plans to hold a 2016 competition again!
